In Texas... any hot tips? I preferably would prefer not even to have to pay but I'd be willing to concede on that point. Any chance any local places will get some? Maybe at HEB?
Dude why do you go there?
HEB? Or why did I make this post?

I go to HEB because its cheap and has a good selection.

I made this post to see what kind of reaction it would get.

And the spurs suck - GO MAVS!

Its going to be pretty hard to be able to just walk in and find a PS3 without camping.

I won't have to because my Gamestop pre-order came through, so unless you pre-ordered it somewhere good luck finding one without camping.

Yeah, i think that will be the case, but like in TX there are some Walmarts literally in small towns so I was wondering if maybe there wouldn't be too many gamers in those towns or they would at least be too poor to buy it.

And on a similar note... how funny would it be to put a PS3 on layaway...
Lol. HEB does have great prices. Spurs suck? OK.....with your 2-5 Mavs.
Do you even follow basketball? Well you would have to since that's the only professional sport in san antonio...

but in case you hadn't noticed the Mavs just beat everyone's pick for the championship, the bulls, and are 3-4....

and how will this help me get a PS3 with no effort?
Simple. Ebay.
I don't want to pay ebay prices. I think i might wait for the local burglars to swindle some of the college kids and pick one up at the flea market...

ahhh......
ok.........
Sleep with the Best Buy manager (Walmart etc).
Easy Solution assuming she is indeed hot.
Otherwise, skip a head to the next section.

humm........
a free ps3...............
That is even easier.
Just "visit" your Best Buy (Walmart etc) at night after they have close down one or two days before the launch. Remember to bring wear a ski mask and bring a weapon of choose.

I know.. I know..
My advice is so helpful and revolutionary.
Just glad I could help out.
:D

PS:
I have debs over the Best Buy located at 153rd Street in Downtown (yep. that one)

Everyones pick except the GM's who picked the Spurs. And no you wont get a PS3 without any effort. I do know that the local wal-marts are not going to allow people to get in line until 10:00pm Thursday night and will sell them at midnight. So if you are lucky you would only have to wait 2 hours instead of camping.

A manager at either of those stores could not afford a 100 prostitute... so why would they essentially pay me 650 and risk losing their job... they wouldn't...

trust me I tried... after 5 dates at Chuck E. Cheese babysitting her 5 kids while chewing on plastic pizza she still wouldn't set one aside for me...

We shall settle this in July and then we'll see who was right...

and I would love if the local stores would do that... but all here seem to allow camping...

but then there's the issue of people camping in the parking lot to try to be the first in line for the 10:00 pm line.. man the problems...

Yes we will. It's funny how it took a former Spur to get you guys to the finals for the first time in his first season. Anyway, see ya in July!

Well, you can't have it all. Pick one plan and stick with it. Buy it on Ebay/craigslist or go camp.

College students are smart enough to pick a few up and sell them on ebay. Then, they will use that money to buy all three systems.

Alas there is no intelligence involved in that plan. It doesn't take a genius to do that... it takes alot of luck and free time to be camping/running around to snag pre-orders and actual systems...

I picked a plan... it is to decide until tomorrow if it's worth camping out then... a BB near me is near an Academy so I figure I could steal one of the tents they set up outside...

i know a way to get you one on the quick. gimme 20 bucks and ill tell you how "cheaplikeafox". itll work well in your state of texas.

Ha! NEVER MORE. I remeber one time I spent 5 dollars on ebay to get information on how to get a free laptop... well my friend, I got my whole school hooked on that pyramid scheme and still have no lap top...

If by pyramid scheme you mean referral programs they do work. Thats how I got my 360. It cost $50 and took a month from start to finish but I did receive my console. Thats the same way I hope to get my PS3 soon after launch.
