PS3 Wireless Keypad

Hi all. I am looking to purchase the wireless keypad that attaches to the PS3 controller but I refuse to pay the insane $50 MSRP for it. Anyone know of any deals/coupons for this thing? Link is below to the specific item I am looking for. Thanks

No one? Crappers, does any happen to know of a good 3rd party item that would work similar to the pad?

I am aware that a full size USB keyboard will work however I want the convenience of the attached keypad like the 360's messenger kit, which I use alot.

I would suggest purchasing Microsoft wireless keyboard 6000 v 3.0 at staples for $30. I use it on PC, Xbox 360, Wii and PS3. No problem or software to install. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the replys. I was really hoping for some sort of deal on the keypad. It is so much easier to send a message with the 360's messenger. I already have a full size USB keyboard but it is such a pain to have to drag the thing out every time I just want to send a quick message. Hence, why I wanted the keypad. There is not some sort of non-Sony keypad are maybe a MUCH smaller keyboard available? Thanks all.

Personally, I'd recommend against it. I picked up a used one at GameStop for $30 and promptly returned it the next day. They don't work well at all. It may be pretty bulky, but a regular keyboard is much more functional. Just my 2 cents.

If my microsoft wireless keyboard has wireless connection via usb, does that work with PS3?
