$19.99 or $17.99 (w/ MVP discount)

This is the sales price for a used copy of RE5 (both versions) at a non-closing GameCrazy store. It was correctly tagged on the box/barcode sticker and in the system register, so I think it should be nationwide. Not sure if this is a temporary promotion or a pending pricedrop. Happy gaming and cheers!

Wow, that seems really good! :O Any opportunities for flipping, anyone? If any places require an instruction booklet or box, I wouldn't mind sacrificing the ones I already have. XD

EDIT: Seems at Amazon the 360 version is worth $21, and the PS3 version is worth $24. Not bad if you've got MVP at GC. Also, something strange I noticed is that the CE of RE5 are worth less trade-in value than the normal games are... o^o I wonder why?

EDIT EDIT: Okay, why did I even ask? I'm just doing all this myself. XD Anyway, if you've got the MVP at GC and the Edge at GS, you may be able to make some money off them with the current Trade-In deal at GS if you have a couple other games you want to trade in, or know you can buy and flip for a profit. Best case scenario, you can find one for each console.

With MVP, you can get both for $36, and with tax, we can round it up to $40.

According to the GS Trade-In Deal thread, RE5 for 360 is worth $10, and RE5 for PS3 is worth $12. If you go for store credit, you'll get $11 for 360 and $13.20 for PS3.

Now, with the trade-in deal as it currently is, you can get an extra $20 for trading in four Wii/360/PS3 games. With just the RE5 games, you'll get $11+$13.20+$20, which brings the total without any other games to $44.20. And since the other games have to be above $2 in trade credit to qualify for the deal anyway, you'll be able to make more than five dollars this way. :D

You're welcome. :D

wow awesome deal thanks op, not sure if ill be buying it to flip since most GS/EB's dont want to accept multiple copies of the same game.

but im definitely chompin' on this one! any word on if this deal holds with the collector's edition??

a "better-late-than-never" idea...

buy at GC for $17.99 (w/ MVP) and flip at Toys 'R Us for $24 (PS3 version). they accept multiple copies...
Are you sure, Scorch? That lists RE5 as $25, while the OP here states that he got it for $20. :whistle2:?
It was $25 new and $20 used.

You probably didn't miss anything. I tried getting that price last week at a gamecrazy near me that wasn't closing and they told me the sale was only at those GC stores that were being shut down. they even scanned RE for me and it didn't have the 24 dollar price. methinks this was a big YMMV sale outside that.
