Hi fellow CAGs! I didn't see this deal listed anywhere, I figured I would share it with you all.

I actually bought this full price (minus GCU of course) on the 14th of this month. It’s still within the 14 days, so think they’d do a price adjustment? Or a no go because of it being a Cyber Monday deal and not regular sale?
 
Just bought the regular game for $24 bucks, but really want the Steelbook.  I don't give a shit about all the other crap.  Debating on pulling the trigger.

Is this the only way to get it to work? I noticed their site says Price Match Guarantee isn’t valid through today.

So I’d have to actually return and rebuy to get the money back? Curious if they’ll even do that since mine is opened. I kept the figure in box to display on my shelf, so I’d just have to pop the steel book back in there in case they were to give me flak.

Opened video game merchandise is only exchangeable for another copy.

I’m not even trying to get a new copy dude. I’m just trying to get $32 back. It’s not like when they return it I’m not going to just rebuy it 15 seconds later. Honestly, all I should even have to do is go there with my receipt.
 
Thanks OP, ordered one with store pickup discount, picked it up, walked over to CS and returned it with my receipt from 11/1. Easiest way to get the $30 difference back that I could see.
 
anyway i can exchange or return my vanilla edition ($25) i got for black friday without losing reward credits (used $25) to get the collector's edition?

If it’s unopened. Otherwise, the only thing I can see you getting is a holiday price match for the standard edition should it fall under $25.

Yes. Just go in store and tell them you need to do a return/rebuy and explain that you already opened the game but want to get it, just at the cheaper price point. I've done this many times at several different local Best Buy stores. They should honor it with no questions asked....unless you get a rare douche bag but I highly doubt you will.

Deal is dead now. The price went back up to $99.99 or $79.99 GCU.

I tried price matching over the phone and chat but they wouldn't do it due to "Cyber Monday deals". Next option was to do a return / rebuy at the store which worked perfectly with no problems! I used the remaining balance to get Gran Turismo Limited Edition for $9.xx and they even threw in Fuzzy Dice lol.

Congrats to everyone else who was able to get their price adjusted! :D
