You know, it is customary to send the money first. Some people may send first if you ask nicely, but you don't make a public scene if they say no. You can certainly decide not to buy, but that's on you. Don't be a jerk when you don't get your way.

 
Yes, always send money first unless someone you dealt in the past . Sunrise been very quick and delivered pretty much instantly.
 
Whenever someone rips off a bunch of people here the formula is the same: sell an unusual amount of credit with an account a few years old and eventually stop answering PMs, then no one feels safe sending money despite ignoring warnings.
 
Look. I understand where Cleaver is coming from. But I’m not sending out my codes first anymore. I did it all the time and everything went well. Then I got burnt and I follow my own rule, if you want something from me, you pay first. And I will give you the best price I can and deliver the item to you as fast as I can. Never would I go on the public forum and make a big deal about someone who didn’t want to follow my rules of engagement. Cleaver is upset because I refuse to follow his rules. I kindly suggested he go elsewhere as there are a few others with game currency for sale but he wanted to show everyone how he conducts himself as a buyer who can’t get his way.
 
The only time I've experienced someone sending items first is if they have minimal to zero feedback, and that's clearly not the case here as Sunrise has had plenty of positive transactions on this site and has had plenty more this weekend, including one with me. If you can find someone to send first, more power to you, but Sunrise has done nothing wrong or out of the ordinary here. When I'm buying something on this website, I expect to pay first and then get my item.

The rules have always been that the person with the lowest feedback sends first. That people don’t do it it’s something else but that’s the way it’s been on this board since forever.

I follow that rule and it’s never failed me. If I have higher feedback you will send first. If you don’t want to then no deal. Nothing wrong with walking away from a deal.

I agree but when me and a few others were scammed by WakaBrea last year, I chose to only do business to protect myself. I know who I am and I’m not a thief. If you buy anything from me, you will get it and I guarantee it will work. If you still hold firm to the feedback score, no big deal. We aren’t obligated to complete a sale just because we engage in talks. And there’s no need to push your hate onto the public forum because you need to vent. Just move on. I mean look at my feedback in the past week alone. It’s unlikeky that I’m in anyway going to scam you. But it’s caveat emptor. And even higher feedback can be a scammer and a thief. My rule is as I laid it out. You want goods from me, contact me and I will provide my PayPal address. You send me the funds and I will provide the product ASAP. If the product is defective (bad code), I will remedy the situation ASAP.
 
If you put up most of your feedback over the course of a week that’s exactly the kind of thing that’s suspicious, if you have years and years of steady feedback it’s unlikely you’re working any kind of long con. There are so many issues for sellers digital goods on eBay or any place that takes a percentage and has buyer protection, people are able to sell here with no fees and the only buyer protection there is here is the feedback system. If I don’t insist on people sending first and I don’t post when the explanation doesn’t sound quite right I’m making it less safe for trusted buyers.
 
No problems with Suncityrider either. I don't demand people send their items before I pay for them... generally, checking their feedback is good enough.

I think people forget how quickly transactions happen on CAG, to the point where if an item is thirty minutes late, they complain. I can wait thirty minutes. I don't think Suncityrider took thirty minutes to send me Xbox credit... maybe three.

 
I sold 4-5 PSN codes here last week (as well as some eShop). At that time, I only had 3 feedback, which would be considered extremely low by anyone's standard. Every single buyer had more feedback than me, yet every single one sent payment first without any questions.

I was more than willing to send first, depending on how their profile looked, since I knew my feedback was low. but every single buyer just asked if item was still available, asked for paypal email, and sent payment. I sent everyone their codes within 10 minutes.

so just saying, doesn't seem like most people follow the "feedback rule".

You’re pretty paranoid, I’m going to have to side with Suncityrider. If you don’t wanna deal with him because you want him to send his digital code first and possibly not pay him after, that’s on you. I’ve bought credit from him without issue. I’ve also sold thousands of dollars in iTunes gift cards without issues either but going off your logic, I’m either a scammer or shady as well. Lol if you don’t feel comfortable with a sellers rules, you don’t have to buy. I understand the feedback system is in place for a reason but I find it highly unlikely someone like him would rip anyone off despite having tons of recent positive feedback.

I will say this,about 4-5 months ago on the Xbox trading thread there was a CAG named KOTOR with lots of feedback around 100+.He then went on to scam alot of people and not sure what were his reasons but if a higher feedback will do this who's to say another CAG with less feedback who wants payment first won't do the same?

At that point, you need to use your judgment and make that call but even if you happen to get ripped off and you paid gifted, you can still reverse a gifted payment so really the people most at risk are the sellers but everyone just hopes that the other person whether seller or buyer is an honest person. Guess that’s a lot to ask for on this site nowadays.

For what it's worth guys, check my feedback.  I have been around a long time and usually am able to send the codes within minutes of payment.  I've sold to numerous people this past week alone.  I'm reliable.  

Edit:  And when I won't be able to send it immediately (because I'm in the car or at work without a code on me) I let people know that when I give them my paypal address and tell them they can hold up on paying until around the time I expect to get back home.

If I remember correctly he was shafting people a few days well into his heel turn before someone said something and the consensus if I remember correctly was that someone should have said something earlier to prevent more casualties. Now I'm seeing people calling the guy who said something a jerk for stating what happened. I believe sun is a legit one but there has to be a middle ground where this is concerned. Cause next time someone won't say anything because they will be afraid to be vilified. Then he will be vilified for not saying anything if it goes south.
