No you don't. I recently got a 3 month code from the gamestop website. No CC information required on my PS3, maybe for a 1 month though
 
For the freebie ones Sony sent out a while ago you did indeed need to put a cc on file with them. I just used an empty(or nearly empty) pre-paid Visa, which worked like a charm.
 
I want to sell or trade the entire inventory of these passes to one person because I don't have time to keep up with sellin g and trading them individually. I thought all North America was just part of the same store. Canada uses Ntsc format right? Or since it's part of the crown do they kick it PAL? I honestly would like to know this answer if anyone does.

Oh gotcha. I missed out on all the free 1 months I got because I forgot about them so I went straight for a 3 month to check it out. Guess it makes sense they try to regain from the promo with those who forget to cancel auto pay
 
I really want to get rid of these! Make me any REASONABLE offer from my want list, I will probably take it! Preference goes to large deals with multiple passes. If somebody wants them all, you can have all 80 for $35 in cash or trade value.
