Yea. Decided to do that. Of course, now the original Silent Hill is staring me in the face. May have to do the same with that one. I'll always hold on to hope that we will see a Silent HIll HD Collection for ps4, but I know it will never happen...
With how incredlbly crappy Konami had been treating its franchises, including the fact they stomped out SH's only hope of true revival, I wouldn't hold out on that hope. But seriously, man, just grab it. Coming from bit of a hardcore SH fan, the game's seriously worth it at that price. If you've never played it before, and love survival horror, you're in for a treat. And, even though its now 16-years-old, it still holds up quite well today in terms of storyline/atmosphere if you look past lackluster VA work and tank controls.

They already had a shot at an HD collection for Silent Hill 2/3 and they messed it up big time, so you probably don't want them to throw in the first game for a second shot.

Thanks, Frisky. I'll do that. I went ahead and bought Final Fight: Double Impact, which also comes with one of my favorite arcade games of all time Magic Sword, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure All-Star and Digimon Rumble, and left just enough in my wallet for the Combo Pack. Great prices this time!
Magic Sword is fantastic, one of my favorites as well! Also available on the PSP compilation Capcom Classics Remixed, which is compatible with the Vita. Oddly, Remixed is not on sale (still 9.99), but Capcom Classics Reloaded is on sale for 1.99, an absolute steal.

I know these have been asked already probably but for those that have played them, how good are norm9 and code realize? Zero escape 3 is making me impatient, do these games compare to that series at all?

It might turn out if they actually threw some decent money at it and hired a competent developer. They cheaped out and had the collection developed from an unfinished version of the game (they apparently didn't have the final post-QA files for the game for whatever reason) by an inexperienced developer who had only done a few low-key games for them (one of the most notable being Frogger Returns). It was okay post-patch on the ps3, at least. But not perfect.

Yea. When ever I do get a PS3 again, ill probably try to hunt that down. Though, Id rather go digital.

Best flash sale of 2016, Sony won the console war with this. GG

In for 4 copies of Duck Dynasty

Pretty good sale. I just went for the 3 Fatal Frame games for now. Seems like a nobrainer.

I'll consider some others like Jojo and Code:realize but I'm probably not going to get them in the end.

Picked up a lot this sale

not including sands of time with the PoP games was lame and is screwing with my ocd

have them still on ps2 but always love a digital copy at those prices

great sale and that Alice price is a real steal

You didn't get screwed purchasing it, did you? If so, that sucks.

I really hate that some games that can be played on Vita can't actually be downloaded from the shop.
Miguel: Let me go ahead and see if we can request a refund. Keep in mind that according to the PlayStation Terms of Service all sales are final.

Does anybody know if the Muramasa Rebirth DLC is any good? I really like the base game I got from Plus. Also, does anybody know if it's DLC has ever been on sale?

Someone please talk me out of getting Monster Monpiece. I have avoided it so far, but $2 might be worth the sheer idiocy of it.

If only I wasn't just 50 cents short for Jojo's...

I thought it was pretty fun! I think I paid $9 for it during a previous sale and thought that was a good price for what I got out of it. You have to be willing to ignore some of the childish "rubbing" stuff if that annoys you, but the strategic play is solid. Sorry! Won't talk you out of it :)

It literally says PSP...you clicked on the handheld icon...meaning the handheld section...where both PSP and Vita reside. You got mad at the fact you didn't slow down and pay attention to what you bought? Poor Miguel.

I couldn't imagine dealing with dozens or hundreds of these a day.

Im a HUGE Silent Hill fan my self. Its one of my favorite franchises. That being said, I've actually never played the first one, but Ive played all of the other ones (accept for "Book of Memories), so I decided to get it. $1.50 is just to good of a deal. My brother was talking about maybe getting a ps4, in which case he would get rid of his ps3, so I might be able to get his for a good price.

Welp, Peggle was a good price. I'm both impatient and have been with PlayStation Plus for years, so I've got a good chunk of the games on sale.

Zombie Viking looked great, I loved "Stick it to the man", but it's a beat em up, not for me.

I've been eyeing Rayman 2 lately, but on the PS2 classics. I accidentally bought the PSX version a few years ago. I just can't pull the trigger on any more PS2 games on the PS3. Im kind of bummed Psychonaughts is coming to the PS4 (not about the game, it's high on my favorite games). I bought it for the PS3 a few months ago. I'll end up buying it on PS4, trophies and visual upgrades give me a reason to replay the game. /end extremely selfish 1st world rant.

Yea. Sorry man, but I think that ones on you. That being said, that shit can be confusing sometimes.

I highly recommend buying all three FF games for those that don't have it. Went back and played FF and it still scares the crap out of me.

Anyone know if Final Fight: Double Impact still has the restriction of needing internet connectivity in order to play the game at all, even single player? I couldn't find any info on it more recent than a few years old, and people were saying it still hadn't been patched out, so I'm guessing it's probably still there.

And if it is indeed still there, let that be a warning to anyone thinking about buying it. It was on my list of potential stuff to get this sale, but even for $3 for two classic games I love, I'm not supporting that BS.

I suspect it's still an issue. I bought it for Xbox 360 myself, BUT if I can make a suggestion, why not get Capcom Classics Remixed for PSP instead? It's got both games, AND more, AND you don't need to be online (or even at your house) to play them. If you want to play it on a TV, get one of those PSTVs they're currently selling for a handful of magic beans.

Couldn't find any 2016 info but I found something from 2015 saying it still was required. Also looked through youtube gameplay comments and looks like as of sometime in 2015 still required.

Honestly, I'm totally with you, all great suggestions. I actually already have the game on that Capcom Digital Collection disc for 360, plus a physical copy of Remixed for PSP. I was just wanting it on PS3 since I prefer playing stuff on that over 360, plus better d-pad and trophies as a bonus.

...yes, I have a problem.

Decided it wasn't worth it though after remembering about the online requirement.

Must still be required then, and probably always will be if they haven't done anything about it by this point. Thanks for the info!

You won't get trophies if you play it on PSTV, but it does at least let you use Dual Shock controllers. What's nifty is that you can map the second stick to the face buttons and turn Forgotten Worlds into a dual stick shooter, making it a lot more playable.

There are rumors that the PS3 can run PSP games, but it requires a lot of nerdy hacking and it most likely will never be officially supported by Sony. I wish they would have done this instead of dinking around with the PSTV, that's for sure.

Grabbed

:ps3: Alice: Madness Returns™ Ultimate Edition $1.99 (Played it halfway on 360 but it had a high TIV so got rid of it, I loved what I played so no brainer at $2)
:ps4: Air Conflicts Vietnam Ultimate Edition $5.99 (I'll play it)
:ps3::ps2: Fatal Frame 1 $0.99 (Because)
:ps3::ps2: Fatal Frame 2 $0.99 (it's under)
:ps3::ps2: Fatal Frame 3 $0.99 (a dollar and a great deal, still hope they make it to PS4 so they can have trophies)
:ps3: Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands $1.99 (Loved this game on 360, I love PoP in general)

Wasn't the best flash sale but wasn't the worst either. $12.94 for that, the $15 code from the Sony promo covered it so  :D/ .

Can someone clear this up for me? Im thinking about getting Alice: Madness Returns, and in the description is says "Bundle includes the Alice: Madness Returns ™ digital game, American McGee's Alice and the Weapons of Madness and Dresses Pack." Is it saying that it also comes with the original Alice game, and the Weapons of Madness pack? Or is "American McGee's Alice and the Weapons of Madness and Dresses Pack" one thing in it self?  Im thinking it comes with the first one, but I just wanted to be sure. I googled it and it looks like the physical copy did come with a code for the original game, but since I cant seem to find the first game in the PSN store anywhere, Im a little confused.

EDIT: Got it. Thanks guys!

Alice should come with the first game and I think the other thing's like a DLC pack or something.

Should be the game with all the DLC, including the American McGee's Alice game, I believe. You can't find the first game in the store because it was actually only released as a DLC add-on for Madness Returns (if you look at the non-bundled version of Madness Returns, it's listed as an add-on).

Ahh. Yea. I see it now. Thanks for the clarification

Is the Vita version of Muramasa better? Not sure if I should replay my Wii version in 4k on Dolphin or get it again on Vita. Will pick up the Fatal Frame games for sure but will probably use pcsx2.

I hope they're as good as the first two Silent Hill titles. Love those games.

I've played the first 3 times (first time on PS3, second watching a sibling play, and third on epsxe). It used to be my favorite in the series, but didn't like it as much on the third playthrough. SH2 is now my favorite.

Damn, those Fatal Frame games are cheap! The physical prices have gotten crazy over the past couple of months. Probably because of Maiden of Black Water's release. I hate buying digital if physical is available but eBay can fuck off with those prices.
Great prices. I'm sad that the Wii U game will likely never be cheap thanks to it only being digital and Nintendo's notoriously high prices.

Customer service won't remove the license for Puzzle Fighter since it was bought over 30 days ago. Oh well. I'm sure I can find other things to buy.
Create a secondary PSN account & add the profile to your console. Then buy the bundle on your secondary account. You'll always have to have the second account on your console whenever you wanna play any of the games from the bundle on your main PSN account though.

Miguel: Let me go ahead and see if we can request a refund. Keep in mind that according to the PlayStation Terms of Service all sales are final.
Me: Thanks
Me: Indeed, the Federal Trade Commission also protects me from Dishonest advertising practices
Me: the game was in the PS VITA Category
Me: it's not my problem you guys put it in wrong place
Me: Why you guys can't refund me for a product you advertise and doesn't work?
Miguel: I have already checked some information and in the game's description it stated it is for PSP And PS3.

Miguel: We are really sorry but we have already checked the description and it is not being advertised for PS Vita.
Me: Ok miguel, just submit the refund process
Me: I will escalate this
Me: Thanks for your assistance.
Miguel: I am really sorry but we cannot request a refund for that content. Just give me a minute.
Me: Ok, i will escalate it with another agent
Me: Have a nice day.
Just BTW, if you have a PS3 you can use the transfer tool and it will play on Vita. I loaded it up just now.

I hadn't thought about doing that, but it's a good idea. After I posted yesterday, I found my disc copy of the Capcom Digital Collection for 360, which is basically what that bundle is anyway, so I might invest that $5.99 in something else.

Some people have said that this isn't a good flash sale, but there have been flash sales where there weren't any 99 cent games at all or they completely sucked. That hasn't been the case with this one, and there are several hidden gem titles that are only a few dollars more. Many of these have prices that are lower than their Steam counterparts. I bought Ironclad Tactics after seeing the Steam trailer, and I will report back about it once I try it out. I'm even considering buying Sing It 2016 since I enjoy karaoke games and doing karaoke in public. Hey, it has "Uptown Funk!" I'm sold.

I think bionic commando 2 requires online check in too, even if you play single player. I'm boycotting both of them.

Picked up all the Fatal Frame games, which is awesome because I planned on getting V on Wii U even though I hadn't played the others.

Trying to decided if I should get the PS3 or PS4 version of Transformers ... I probably won't get a PS4 for another year, but I'm not going to keep my PS3 long term at this point.
