I just bought Let's Golf and it is as advertised. Basically like a PS1 Tiger woods game for one player as far as it plays. Worth 99 coppers. I played it on the PS3.
 
Any PS+ members here? I received an e-mail from Sony on my PS....flying hamster as a free valentines gift. Actually a fun little shooter with some great references. PA bundle is good if you like PA humor and RPGs.

That's quite a large discount for the PA games. I had zero intention of ever buying them at $15-20 a pop but at $3 it's almost a no-brainer.

How come people don't find this a good deal? The Wii version is still $10 per episode, which is the reason I'm not buying... but to get the full season this cheap isn't bad at all, even if it's not the best work that TellTale has done.

Oh it's definitely a good deal; I love Monkey Island and have heard good things about this iteration. PA Adventures is just a better deal. :)
 
I already bought PAA when it was basically the buy one get one free sale at $14.99 for the bundle so if anyone here does not read PA Comics and likes RPG's i say pick it up $3 can't go wrong if you don't like it you wasted $3


also was thinking on buying Alien Breed 1 and 2 for $6.99 a piece, looking into Monkey Island not sure if i am going for that or not...

anyone else getting Alien Breed Games ?

I'm pretty sure only the bundle was released for PS3, so it's the complete set of all five episodes.

I have no idea why you would doubt that the $9.99 sale price wouldn't be for the whole season, I mean the regular price was only $20 at launch, it's not that insane of a price drop. But yeah, the sale is on the whole season, meaning all 5 Episodes.

I've been eyeing the Penny-Arcade games for probably over a year, I'm almost glad I waited this long...not gonna see a better deal on them than $2.99. Crazy.

I didn't know they had all 5 for a bundle i thought they had 1 and 2 episode as a bundle for like $14.99 or something like that lowered too $9.99 but for all 5 episodes that also is a no brainer ! is their a total of 5 Episodes ( like no more to be made or released ?

That's right, the five episodes comprise the entire "Tales of Monkey Island" series. I wouldn't be surprised to see more Monkey Island from them in the future, as it was a very successful project for Telltale, but this batch is the complete arc.

Yeah, Tales is a 5 Episode series (and a very well done series if you ask me!), so this is definitely worth it IMO. Telltale has been doing a great job with all their adventure games, I'm planning to get Sam & Max if it ever goes on sale, and getting the new BTTF eps too.

Oh, and if you're into that sort of thing, Tales of Monkey Island is pretty generous with trophies. $9.99 for 5 games ~4-6 hours each (depending on how many hints/walkthroughs you use!) is a unbeatable.
 
I should really fire up the PC version of PA to see how it runs. Two strikes against it: old computer (performance hit 1) and it's a Mac (performance hit 2).

Don't really want to double dip (there's a reason I didn't get the game way back when), but if the performance is woeful, I'm sure I've found worse ways to spend $3.

The wife is digging PA so far. We are about 2/3rds of the way through the first one.. she is mostly playing by herself but I am having fun watching her... she has moved from costume quest to this and its a good preogression I think. It was funny the first hour or so of PA as she still doesnt have the buttons to memory and its not as turn based as Costume quest was, but by the end of our run last night she had it down.

Ohhhh Yea ! i'm Definitely interested in Trophies so far i have 37 Platinums haha soon to be 38 I hope if all goes well ( i have about 2700 - 2800 Trophies ) . I bought The Tales Of Monkey Island last night and the Alien Breed Games As Well.
