Any thoughts on The Witch and the Hundred Knight:  Revival Edition?  Seems like it always has the red flame on the main page when it goes on sale but the reviews seem a bit mixed.  Has anyone here played this title?

 
Surge sounds pretty cool, with a lot of people saying they like it more than Nioh. I'm still gonna try the demo but I think this will be the next game I play.
 
This sale is trash. You guys should see all the deals over on the Hong Kong psn store. $35 for 15 months of plus, $23 battlefront 2 etc. I almost bought dragon quest 11 but no English subtitles yet

Traded in Injustice 2, Fate Extella, and Halo Wars 2 (base 15, 10, 13 respectively) to GameStop; rebuying Injustice 2. It’s one of the better plots in a single player games fighting or no, give it a play if you get it.

It typically goes on sale with the rest of the Final Fantasy games when they have their periodic FF sale a few times per year.

 
For everyone asking about The Surge: I've played through DS2 and 3 and Bloodborne multiple times. I LOVED The Surge. The bosses are disappointing, but the overall gameplay and combat I really enjoyed. Personally, as someone who really likes Souls/BB, I really enjoyed The Surge and would highly recommend!

 
I got the plat on agents of mayhem and really enjoyed the game. The underground bases did get a little repetitive, but if you put your level up to 12 - 15 it made it very challenging. I think the game is easily worth the sale price.
 
Damn, I'd rather have Injustice 2 on Xbox but for $24 cheaper I'm grabbing it and just gonna put that $24 I saved towards a ps plus renewal.
 
Do the Ultimate Alliance games come with all the DLC chars from their original release?
1 had Hulk, and the Fantastic Four

2 had Juggernaut, etc

Are they included?

yes, i dont have all the details but there is an expanded map and another dungeon that i know of, also more fishing spots? details

The map has been expanded to include a new dungeon in Insomnia City Ruins, and a number of new bosses have also been thrown into the mix. You'll also be able to captain the Royal Vessel and explore the sea between Cape Caem and Altissia. Additionally, there will be a first person mode, new gear, and more besides

There's a few games I wouldn't mind having, but I think I will pass. I keep meaning to get the Metro Redux but I know it's been cheaper in the past. I also keep meaning to get Dragon Age Inquisition DLC, but I'd rather not have to buy the GOTY for that. I know the DLC bundle was on sale for like $6 within the last few months, and I'm still kicking myself for passing on it.

 
I feel like it was pretty well communicated that all the DLC was included with both MUA ports, but if you've already Googled it and can't find any confirmation then that's really weird. That was a big selling point of it I thought.
 
I bought the MUA bundle during the last sale and MUA1 definitely got the extra DLC characters in a post-release patch (and extra trophies for those characters). Some of the reviews complain that the extra characters aren't available but those reviews are from launch and the free DLC was added later. The patch also fixed some of the bugs/issues from the early reviews.

I haven't played MUA2 on PS4 yet but there are DLC trophies listed for that game as well.

I was reluctant to buy because the ports aren't great, but I don't know how long Activision will have the rights to sell these games. Seems likely to be delisted at some point.

 
I have the PC version(s) of MUA/2. Looking at the in-game rosters now to refresh my memory because I haven't played in a while, it seems 2 Actually does have the DLC. When I bought the dual-pack I recall reading that the first game doesn't have all the version exclusives, though (like Captain Marvel from the PSP version, unfortunately). Something about them not fitting on the roster, I think.

Got Injustice 2, which will hopefully make up for the massive disappointment that was Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite. What can I say, the inclusion of the Ninja Turtles swayed me.
 
Picked up Injustice 2 and I got to say if you had doubts I highly recommend it. There is a lot of content and the gameplay is a blast. I'm not even a fighting game fan but they knocked it out of the park with this one.

The turtles was the reason I quickly got the game back in November when it was on sale then, a fun and great looking game overall. I'd recommend it to anyone who is thinking about it.

 
Can anyone comment on the deluxe editions of Titanfall and/or Mass Effect Andromeda?  I have both the standard editions on disc but wondering if the content is worth upgrading.

Can’t speak for Titanfall but ME:A is not worth it if you already own the standard. You don’t get much out of the deluxe, some armor and weapons. The only thing I noticed after about 10 hours was the pet monkey.

I just beat it yesterday. I haven't played any of the other games in the series (I assume you're referring to Trine Enchanted Edition here). Lots of fun to be had with this one. Its pretty short, I beat it in about 3 days and I'm not a marathon gamer, probably a couple of hours each day. The controls took some getting used to at first as you can tell it was originally designed as a PC game, but once you have it down your jumping and casting and doing things with precision. A nice graphic style, pretty simple platform/puzzling with a relatively thin story, the last level was pretty tough but otherwise its not a hard game. It made me interested in giving the next game in the series a go (which I got with ps+ ages back)

Has anyone played Alice: Madness Returns?  I have heard good things about it but I am not sure.  I don't really like platformers and haven't played one since Conkers BFD and MDK 2.  You also get American Magee's Alice for free.  2 games for $5 may be a good deal. 

 
Alice: Madness Returns is mostly pretty fun, just too long for its own good. I enjoyed it but it definitely had flaws.

The original Alice is extremely dated.

Thanks, I think I will pass then. If it wears out its welcome, I doubt I will finish it. I have so many other games that have been sitting for years.

I believe TF2 is all cosmetics. Maybe earlier access to new maps. I have the base version on XBox One and never felt the need to upgrade. Have not played in months.

I completely agree. I was surprised how unique the experience was and what an interesting twist on the original story. Worth playing if you're a fan of the characters. But there are a lot of technical issues especially with the camera. And the original Alice is completely dated. I remember reading about how great it was when it first came out. Upon playing it a few years ago, it's such a painful experience that I couldn't even finish it.

I feel like I'm having seconds thoughts on getting The Surge and RE Rev 2 right now. Since correct me if I am wrong but they are on sale rather often in flash sales correct? I still have the rest of Bloodborne and Dark souls 3 on my plate as it is and don't want to buy too early and then have them go on sale for cheaper by the time I get to them...

Unless you get it at an absolute steal of a price that is. ;)

My personal criteria is 70% off as a minimum with a few exceptions far in between. Has worked pretty well so far.

In addition to Alice Returns, the bundle is very well worth it IMO. I strongly recommend it at $5 for both games (even though I bought both for around $3 on a previous flash sale). Despite the first one being dated, its certainly not as bad as some people here make it out to be even though controls might be a bit clunky. Both games have amazing voice acting, good soundtrack and some very interested visuals and designs.

Question: do you like turtles, preferably of the ninja variety? Then yes, get it. The TMNT alone would cost you ten dollars. Might as well get the game, the turtles, and everything else (but Darkseid) for $32.
 
Is PSN not working on mobile? I've been trying to add items to my cart and it won't let me!

Edit: Got back home from the dentist in time to buy Fairy Fencer F and Painkiller: Hell and Damnation on my primary PS3. Not enough room on it to download anything though. Time to find my other PS3.

Sales like these only remind me how many games I've purchased and never played. When did I buy Red Dead Redemption?
