PSN Forgot Password Error

Hi all,

I hope this isn't to strange of a question, but I'm wondering if other people are having the same problem as me or if somehow my account is faulty.

I'm trying to redeem my "welcome back" games for my PSP, but I haven't logged into the PSN in a long time. So I thought I could just use the "forgot" password option and they'd send it to my email. Right?

But every time I go to the PSN page (http://us.playstation.com/psn), click on "Sign In" on the top right, and click on "Forgot Password", it brings up this new page (https://store.playstation.com/accounts/reset/beginPasswordResetFlow.action?target=login) with the following text:

"Site Maintenance Notice​
The server is currently down for maintenance.​
We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again later."

I've been trying this for over two weeks now, but the "maintenance" error just won't go away.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Yes i have the same thing going on
call up sony and have them send you the info.
They may put you on hold for awhile but wait it thur.

You will need your: your email that you set up your account with, console ID number and psn username.

here the number and info:
800-345-SONY
MON-SAT 6:00am-8:00pm PST
SUN 7:00am-6:30pm PST
