PSN Gameshare for PSP

Hi, new guy here (to both cag forums and psp) and before i set up my own psn account and started purchasing, I thought I would see if anybody had a slot open for a long term share. My favorite genres are action, platforming, sports, arcade etc. There doesn't have to be any games already purchased I am just intrested in cost sharing going forward

Yes. When you use the PS3 to download and transfer PSP games you do need to be signed in to transfer them to the PSP, just like PSN games though they can download even after you logout of said share, you just have to log back in to transfer them over.

I might be interested in your game share group, jgiovanni. I just have a couple questions.

Will I need a credit card or can I make my contributions via PSN Cards?
What genres will your group be into?
How often are you guys planning to buy games?

I don't know if this has been mentioned but Sony changed their PSN TOS policy a few months back and does not allow PSN game sharing between friends. Only game sharing within a household is permitted. I don't know how Sony is going to police this but it's something to consider.

I asked this same question in the PS3 game sharing thread, but it got lost in all that thread's activity.

If someone were to start a game sharing group exclusively for PSOne classics, could the games be downloaded to five PS3 systems and five PSP systems?

Technically gamesharing has always been against Sony policy. If you get burned they won't help and now CCs are only working on a limited number of accounts. Stuff like that. As far as the number of shares goes it's 5 PSPs and 5 PS3s per account.

Would anyone be interested in a ten-man gameshare? All games would be PSone Classics.

You could basically get every single big-name game for about $15.

That's correct... Game sharing is a byproduct of what-if-I-have-more-than-one-PS3s-or-PSPs.

Technically, it's a backup plan for the user in case his/her PS3/PSP is damaged, so he/she can register the account on a new PS3/PSP. A lot of time people don't realize that they didn't de-activate their account on the PS3s/PSPs when they trade them away.

But yeah, Sony don't need to be generous, they can just disable the "sharing" aspect easily. Translation, you can attach your account to FIVE PS3s, but any other accounts other than yours on the FIVE PS3s CANNOT play games not purchased by you.

Like the PSP... You can only attach to one account at a time... If Sony do this to the PS3s, heehee, bye bye game sharing (unless you like to de-activate and reactivate an account every time you're switching an account).

Is it hard to deactivate and reactivate accounts on the PSP? I've never done it before so I don't know.
