It sounds like my kind of racing game, but the time commitment scares me. What kind of time do you think it takes if you do use the DLC to unlock all the cars?
You unlock cars by doing events and there is a trophy that requires doing X number of events so you don't save any time going for trophies with the time savers pack. There are 12 or so multiplayer trophies for the plat and others for the DLC trophies, some that will likely require boosting like 8 players meeting up in the baseball stadium, but you only have to play (not win) like 24 events total.

It is very time consuming as it took me well over 100 hours and I didnt even plat it. But I probably fuck ed around a lot. Owl seems to remember more detail than me so he may be better equipped to answer. But at $5 you wont get much more fun/$ than BP.

BP is also great for short bursts as none of the races take very long. Or you could just go for a drive looking for barricades and ramps.
I'm definitely on the fence. It is already getting harder and harder for me to want to play anything on the PS3 as it is. At the same time, I like arcade style racers and it seems to be a thin market for those on the consoles this past generation.

Damn, an 8 player one? I remember getting a trophy like that in Red Dead Redemption. It felt like I was trying to herd cats. I like that the online ones are play and not win though. I enjoy arcade racers to play solo, but I usual suck in all racing games against other people.

Thanks for the info.

Nice that they finally fixed the sale spreadsheet so it's one list with all three prices (ps+, regular sale, original price) instead of separate lists for everything. That was pretty annoying.

I just pre-ordered the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 CE, what's wrong with me?

Never mind, total cost is $120.  I can't justify that for the steelbook.

Because I don't have a hundred other games to play, I scored Dragon Age Inquisition :ps4: for $35 at Target tonight.  Now to rotate that, Unity, Halo MCC, Far Cry 4 and GTA V....

Oh and I have Burnout Paradise but havent played yet, I'll hop on for online trophies if anyone needs them though

Some of us are grown men who would appreciate value in the PS+ library. Not just a bunch of junk that socially awkward virgins play.

95/91/79.

LBP3 coming through to prove the Stotch effect, with a side dose of the Tyler effect (where a game in a series developed by a different developer than the original is automatically losing points on a review)

Now I'm sure stotch will yell at me for providing an example that proves his theory.

So is every game that has some type of technical issues on day one instantly going to be labeled "broken" and the developer shunned?

I fucking hate gamers.

Why do people get pissed off at American adaptations of other shows?

I mean, how does it harm the greatness of the original?  How does it affect it any way?  It's not like people are being forced to watch it.

I saw they are doing an American adaptation of Luther.  I think that could be potentially really cool if done right.  I mean, it probably won't be done right, but there's a chance that it will.  And if it really sucks, it will just get canceled and everyone can move on with their life and forget about it.

The Office was a really successful adaptation of a UK show, I'm sure there's more examples out there.

Why can't people give things a chance before immediately crucifying them?

The US version of The Office was great. The UK one I didn't like at all. Changing Michael into a likable moron made it so much better than Ricky's portrayal.

That said, I don't expect an American adaptation of Downton Abbey to be any good at all.

All In The Family and Three's Company come to mind.

Would anyone here be interested in the Weapons Arsenal (preorder) DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition on PS3? Long story short, I got a copy from Best Buy for half price a few months back that I plan on selling/trading in, so I have no use for the DLC.

Try to sell that shit for $1 so Snakey can yell at you.

I like to physically own my movies.
Also I like (having the option to look at) special features. If I'm not getting any special features since I'm buying a digital version then I might as well just rent the disc for $1.20-$1.50 from Redbox for a fraction of the cost.
