Hey Vag how were those VR Missions?
More time-consuming than anything else. A few of them were particularly annoying (Raiden (Ninja)'s Elimination missions, MGS2 Snake's ledge-drop-grab mission, nearly all of MGS1 Snake's missions), but it helped to have a walkthrough for the more difficult ones.

Nice job. Did you play on Extreme yet? That for me was the worst part. The game itself isn't bad because you can just use stealth bandana the whole time. But the bosses can be fucking crazy.
Playing through the regular game on harder difficulties to get all (or nearly all) dogtags is the last thing I plan on doing for the plat. Right now I'm working on the Snake Tales.

I think the worst boss is the Harrier. And if that motherfucker takes all your rations, Vamp is a total bitch.

Man I am thinking about doing some trades today and Best Buy is giving 23 for Bound By Flame...if there was something that I wanted to play Asap it would be a no brainer... I finished the game, but I think I want to go through it and play a different class. I also think I am going to trade in MLB the Show for PS4 and I know for a fact I'm trading in the Vita version. The only thing I am slightly interested in picking up day one is Diablo so I can play through it with my friend.

lol pix r it didn't happen. ill post more tom. i didnt take any myself but i should be able to find some. Her and I and our group were pretty obvious. grrl on far left was crazy drunk n more and we had to pull her off of multiple dudes trying to take her to bars after the party. she looked damn good covered in foam. she was on her knees and bang dancing with everyone. She just turned 21 and was on the bar twerkn it up ;) my grrl says we shoulda swapped out pinky on the right (face not shown) for the plastered girl, lol. but we didnt.... (she was protected by her bff, rainbow girl next to her in mirror that kept her from staying the night after we came back to our place for a night smoke.)
Oh uh, you just supplied snakeybro with his fap material. He'll go crazy when he comes here.

Why trade both MLBs? You got tired of RttS? I found the PS4 version enjoyable, and I'm no baseball fan.

If I hadn't, I'd still be tearing my hair out on some MGS1 Snake mission, so I don't care.

And anyway, there were a few instances where I said "screw it" to the outlined strategy and did my own thing. One technique I abused to heck was the punch-once-then-strangle combo, which worked remarkably well on soldiers who noticed me but hadn't begun reporting it yet.

MGS2 trophy list is remarkably hard compared to the MGS3 one. No several playthroughs required, just straightforward.

Just got the Strider plat.  My speedrun time was just under 3 hours, and I went out of my way to get all upgrades but one, so there's tons of time for you to work with.  Pretty fun game, definitely worth a play for anyone with PS+.

And Yanks - you'll die on a few bosses toward the middle/end until you figure out their patterns, but once you do they're all pretty easy, even on Hard.  And they're all a joke on Normal - you don't even really have to dodge.  I can't even imagine playing on Easy - guess snakey will have to let us know how it is. ;)

3 hour platinum or you had to play two times?

2 times.

simmias time

Hard - 2 days, 2 hours, 40 minutes

Normal -2 days, 18 hours, 38 minutes
I think 2 days, 18 hours was my total time in the game. I started about 6 p.m. on Thursday. Took me about 9 hours on the hard playthrough (but I did get all the extras, which you don't have to do) and just under 3 hours on the normal. If you just want the trophies I'd say it's 8-10 hours.

Here's my thoughts so far on Borderlands vita...

One problem I noticed fairly quickly is some of the text is almost impossible to read.  I wish they enlarged some of that, but it's not that big of a deal.  It's especially hard to see the controls for the rear touchpad and for that reason I'm going to have a quick look at the controls online.... I can't seem to run every time I want to and instead do a walking-melee boogie all the way to my destination at times.  EDIT:  I must just have really long fingers, because everything matches up with what the controls screen says.

And it might be in my head but it feels like the auto-aim function has been bumped a notch up from the original.  I started a new game with Krieg and I was unlocking badass points for crits before I even got to Hammerlock.  Every single enemy explodes in a blocky red mist when they die now too, which hasn't been necessarily bad but is weird coming from playing the original.

Graphically it looks pretty good.  There are a few rough edges but it only stuck out a couple of times when I was playing (very noticeable when Claptrap gets scanned at a door).  The rough cel-shaded style might be why a lot of that doesn't stick out, but I only played for an hour so I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to it.

It might just be my hands getting used to the vita, but the were starting to cramp a little on my way up to Flynt.

I think it's pretty funny, surprised you haven't responded yet. I see your friend cheesy dude in there liking everything that goes against you.
I'm not going to respond, it's funnier to me this way. I literally don't understand how someone can type up a novel about how what I said was so wrong, ignorant, and uninformed, but can't take 15 seconds to glance at my trophy card to see that I've played a ton of Vita games.

I like Velo cause he doesn't give a fuck and just has a good time. I'm sure Snakeybro saved all those pics to look at later.

If I needed more Jesus in my life I'd hang with Velo for 2 reasons:

1. He looks like Hippie Jesus
2. He loves to party

I think we should all be inspired by the Velo family. Just say fuck it, be nice to people, have a good time, and hump like rabbits. That's all we would really need in life.

I thought the Wolf Among Us Episode 5 was supposed to land on Tuesday. Do they not put add-ons in the drop posts on the blog?

this is truth, dude figured something out about life. my life is great and I love it and I'm completely grateful for and definitely wouldn't trade it, but it seems like velo is so ... peaceful. I could use more of that.

Velo, are you playing that Young Justice game or is it your kids?  I was wondering if it was any fun at all and how easy the trophies are in it?

re: hand cramps

I don't know if I adjusted or not, but it used to be that if I played more than two hours on something pretty busy I'd have the same problem. haven't noticed it in a long time though. umvc3 mission mode had my hands hurting the next morning, that had me questioning my life a little.

I get hand cramps too, like you said when playing busy games. I can play anything on PS3 with zero issues, but some games on Vita really kill me. I don't know if it's because when things get too intense, I tighten up, or what.

My hands hated me for playing the Vita until I found a decent grip that provided a bit more to hold on to.

What would that be?
I've been using the Nyko power grip. Even when it dies and I haven't charged it up I still use it. There may be a cheaper option without the extra power for just the grip aspect though. I think it's just the simple fact that it gives a resting place for the ring and pinky finger so your hands aren't in just an awkward position. But it also adds a bit of width/girth as well.

My 9 and 3 y/o are playing the justice game. I put it on hard but I had to beat the first boss with them and it was actually crazy hard so i lowered it to normal. I'm gonna let them get all the co op trophies and beat it on normal and ill go back for collectibles/hard/level specific trophies later.

also it's all bout Karma, be kind to others and hopefully good things will happen to you.
