For anyone that cares...

There's a rank up method in GTA V that allows you to get RP without doing anything.

You only get 200 RP every 65-68 seconds, but you literally don't have to do anything once you have it going. According to my numbers, it'll take me 26-30 hours to get to rank 100. But now I can let that run while I play Ys on Vita and knock out two backlog games at once.

Also, there's a Rockstar Verified race called HIPSTER DEATH RALLY that is glitched and awards you with a world record after every lap. This gets you the platinum medal for getting a world record on a Rockstar race, and it's pretty much the only way to get this medal at this point since all the races have hacked/cheated times of 0.01 seconds per lap. You also get 500 RP for each lap you do since you're just constantly getting the world record, so that's a good boost as well. Apparently the other day for a brief period it was awarding 5000 RP per lap, but Rockstar patched that out right away.

I'm only 1 platinum medal away from the Decorated trophy, so I think once I'm done ranking up I'll work on getting 25 birdies in the golf game.

They won't until someone finally cracks the code and makes a really good one. It wasn't that long ago that comic books movies weren't that great either. You had your occasional decent ones every decade or so, until the start of 2000 where there was a string of critical and commercial successes which lasted through 2005. Then there were shit movies that made money until the Marvel phase 1 started (and the second Nolan Batman movie happened) in 2008 and has lasted through the present.

Nah, people have been doing a lot worse for a lot longer. Unless you're seriously screwing over Rockstar or other players, the most they'll do is take away the RP you earned. This method isn't a glitch or a cheat on the system.
 
I know all you nerds are hot for fightin games.

tekken 7 announced at sdcc today with a story trailer. pc is the lead dev platform (using unreal engine), no other platforms explicitly announced. sounds like they're not too far along since there's no gameplay to be seen and they hadn't decided if it would be tag or not.

also confirmation that tekken x street fighter is 'still in development', likely to come out the same week as the last guardian.

I seen that thread earlier. Before he put the links in, it basically read like "i get too fucked up to be good enough to play, but please buy this and play with me"...which might also explain the thread in the first place.

Didn't we already talk about this days ago? It's going to be the eight "Complete a match on XXX without dying and getting at least 3 downs or executions" trophies. They're the only ones that make sense. I'm guessing they remove the "without dying" requirement.

Haha, yeah I'll play. I need lots more than one hour though. Hopefully we can get enough to have replacements...rpg is probably pretty close to 50 as well.

If I can get close to someone I'm definitely using my shotgun/melee combo; it just makes sense to go with what works the best. Ohhhh, I completely misinterpreted what you said about the mics. You were referring to having to be in a party to chat with teammates. lol I was talking about how when recording/broadcasting it only uses your audio. I guess crunchewy brings up a fair point about privacy. I'd at least like to see an option.

I actually didn't get to catch what you posted but the auto-rifle is overpowered, too. And yes I'm being serious. One of them, at least... not sure which. All I know is i don't have it, as well as being without a shotgun.

I do use the radar but you act like it's super detailed or something. It's a bunch of blips that give you a vague sense and that's only if the person shoots.
