I usually eat those with cheese grits, but I am guessing you and many others in this thread have likely never even seen grits before.
I like grits. Taste yummy with some pepper and butter served along side eggs and bacon :D

Edit: and I grew up nowhere near the south nor live there.

Ok, Tyler. Next poll needs to be various members names, and we will vote on who will take the third seat in the podcast. Public poll, so that way we can make sure people don't vote for themselves.

Trying to catch up and speed-reading lead to seeing this as "I like girls." Made me stop for a second. :whistle2:

So for some reason FFX Vita just keeps stopping during the download. Not sure why, I've never had that happen before. It's pretty annoying.

My friendgirl was raised in Florida so that's the only reason I know anything about them. She orders them from time to time when we go to breakfast. I tasted them a couple times they don't do anything for me.

I don't know what cheese grits are though.

We should probably pick finalists though, we don't want everyone being dicks and sticking us with Snakey or something...

Shoot! I'm on pins and needles over here to hear your findings. Pins and needles!

But they shovel my walk and keep the pool clean.

(and yeah, that Simpsons scene was exactly what I was going for. Good job. But this was also my inner monologue when deciding to buy the place. Going back and forth because $201 is a shit-ton of money but they do do a lot of stuff that I like. Also helped that my twinhome was about $30K cheaper than most decent houses in the same area so I could afford to put 20% down on the place which was my goal. But yeah, that $201 is really gonna sting when I don't have a mortgage any more and I'll start questioning why the fuck I'm paying it. For now I just consider it part of the mortgage.)
Except HOAs generally cover sewage, trash, some utilities, general maintenance, upkeep on your roof, etc. You'd be paying somebody even when your mortgage gets paid off.

Ok, so are we picking the finalists and letting members vote based on them? First we'd need to know who would want to be part of the show. Weekly would probably be too much until there's actually shit to talk about.

Who wants to fight for the third spot?

Does $200 include insurance, water and trash pickup? If so, that's not as bad as it could be.
It includes insurance but there's still a $10,000 deductible, so I have to get a policy that covers up to $10,000, then add in renter's insurance. I think when I compared it to my mom's homeowners insurance mine is about half the price of hers, and our home values are very similar. So it helps a little there.

Trash pick up yes it covers that. Water it covers the outdoor sprinklers and stuff like that. The water I use indoors I have to pay for.

As some one who has a well, paying for water is fucking baffling to me. Water is free, bitches! You can't own the water, that's god's water.

I assume you live in a condo or a townhouse.

My HOA is like $150 a year or something like that. We do not have swim/tennis like most places around here so it just covers common area maintenance.

God's land too right? fuck paying for that shit....says every homeless person ever. Agree though, shits crazy what everyone has to pay for. I have well water too, thankfully.

Cheese grits are great. Fried catfish, cheese grits and hush puppies is a heck of a meal.

Wait a second...you guys really don't have wells? And no it's not like the 1700s Tyler. I'm not out there pumping it myself. You have a well on your property, a pump in it, and that's your house's water. In the basement we have a filtration system to get out some of the rocks. Then our fridge has it's own filter to get the extra rocks out. Tyler, does your fridge have a water/ice machine? Oh wait, you broke yours.

You guys keep drinking your tasty sewer/town water. Or from a bottle because your town is too lazy/cheap to clean the water.

I don't disagree with anything in your post.

However I wonder if we would have a few more women participating here if half the signatures and avatars weren't half naked porn stars. Maybe the two women who do post here don't care or maybe they don't say anything because it is mostly an all boys club here. I honestly don't care either way. I turned off signatures and block avatars. I pull this site up at work and don't need to answer questions about why am I looking at half naked women.
I mostly browse in mobile now so I don't see signatures. The ones that annoyed me on the full site are those that took up lots of space. It's been awhile since I've seen a really inappropriate or annoying sig.

Apparently I'm the shortest person in this thread. Damn Mexican genes. My mom, sisters and I are all like 5 feet give or take an inch.

Well water ftw. I may live in a mobile home, but at least I have 4 acres of land and good, clean water. Oh, and an extremely low power bill.

I made my wife lots of instant grits when she could only eat mush after jaw surgery last month. I tried them once, but weren't for me. Was gonna try them again when I was in Charlotte but my dumb hotel didn't have them in the breakfast buffet.

Damnit pete, I'm searching for Vita Injustice matches now and it's still dead. Not a one match in 20 minutes or so.

We have family friends in Tennessee who live in a mobile home with an attachment. I never knew it wasn't a regular house until I was recently told.

But I'm sitting on 8 acres up here in MA, which is awesome. About 4 of those are deep woods and a little swampy, but at least I know they're not building a walmart back there. Shits protected land, son.
Yea but you are fucked in a tornado.
You probably are too. Houses aren't tornado proof. Especially if it's been moved before.

Spent most my day off helping gut the house and set up a rummage sale. Apparently that's a better way to make some money than a cam show...ill keep trying though. She's close to breaking.

As far as Robin Williams. So sad. Definitely grew up on a lot of his movies. Jumanji and Mrs doubtfire. Good Will Hunting being his best though. His old standups however were hilarious. That man sure sweat a lot and just chugged down water. He was always a little cuckoo and had drug problems so the news isn't too surprising, still sad as hell though. Oh, Night at the Museum was a good modern movie from him.

Ours is small, but it's what we can afford right now. Once we have saved enough, we'll have this nice piece of land to build a decent house on. I love having the extra land and being away from town, yet close enough if I have to make a quick trip to the store.
