I finished Last Light and I was just rushing through it by the end. It was just "meh" to me. It is very dark, but not just in corridors all the time. LL and 2043 HDified sure does look pretty doe.

Bitcoin has mainly been used so far to buy a myriad of illegal things from the US, or tons of other countries (anything and everything), and also to sell those illegal things. Therefore, people who are using/operating Bitcoin obviously don't want normal regulation. Not entirely sure why US retail would want in on that, unless they are pushing for regulation, or trying to go against the dollar.

Regardless, there was a time when Bitcoin wasn't as popular, just like certain stock, and people turn huge profits. But yeah, very risky, very little benefit for legal transactions.

 
I'm pretty sure there is nothing plain about nicki minaj.

I'll see if I can find my copy, although I haven't played since I beat it at release (on 360) so I'll have no idea what I'm doing. do you have to unlock the mp by playing through sp first?

edit - yeah, that's right. I preordered brutal legend and paid full price. shut up you ding dongs.

I went ahead and bought Crimsonland and Rtype.  Even though I have a gut feeling Crimsonland will be free for plus at some point and I wont have played it by then.  #dumbass

And just because Cursed Crusade is $2.99 doesnt mean you assholes should buy it.  Its an awful game.

 
Don't get the Nicki Manaj obsession. She's a good looking woman, but the fact that she dresses like a circus clown half the time diminishes the appeal to me.

Because they didn't include it. Ask Farsight. It's pretty dumb. I have to assume that they will add it in an update. I certainly hope so.

Pretty sure you don't have to unlock it. I've only played through the first two story trophies and it's there for me. I fiddled around last night in it without an enemy to get some art and a trophy, so I have a vague idea of what's happening, but not much further along then you would be.

Seems like it takes 3-4 hours to get the 50 wins trophy, so we can obviously break that shit up.

There has to be some way to short circuit that 50 win trophy more than that. I do not remember playing for 3-4 hours to get the online done. I do remember the hardest part being that one where you have to get X number inside of one ring created by the motorcycle guys. That was mainly because the controls sucked.

For most people the answer is no, but I like having it. It gives you several things. One perhaps useful for all thing is tips for each game from some highly skilled players, though there's only a handful of tips per game; access to the operator menus (you can change game settings, view stats, or just do silly stuff like pointlessly run tests); you can scroll around the play field and zoom in/out to explore it; there's something which I believe is supposed to let you move the ball around and drop it in shots and stuff like that to see what happens (could be useful for figuring out the finer details of a game), but it wasn't obvious how it worked. I only tried to do that once, though. I should look up how it works. I think that's it. Like I said, most people aren't going to want it. Note that if you modify any game settings, obviously your scores will not count on the online leader boards.

That is so dumb. Friends leaderborads are the only ones that ever matter. Who gives a shit about the overall leaderboards filled with cheaters!?!?!

sweet, I'll go try to track it down this afternoon. always liked this game.

finally got the godforsaken infamous plat this morning (found a side mission that had 4 conduits next to each other and farmed it for about 10 minutes to get the last 2000 xp I needed). definitely need a healthy break before the next one. still liked it, but the whole playing it again thing kinda soured it for me at the end.

I took a few weeks break since beating the first one. Trying to get motivated to play the second or Festival of Blood. Haven't played anything since Sunday.

If you guys somehow manage to get everything but the one viral trophy for Brutal Legend, let me know. I can borrow a copy from a Gamestop for a day and help you guys get that one.

Good thing is that inFamous 2 is so much more fun than 1. Plus, you wont have to worry about the shards. That UGC mission was not around when I played, but I sure as hell would use it if I was starting it now.

The cheaters are usually obvious. One off scores that are ridiculously higher than anyone else. I just ignore those. If you do well then the overall leader boards are a fun thing. But obviously the friend leaderboard is needed. It's probably a dumb bug. I can't imagine there was any reason to intentionally not include it.

Pete, I will be playing Second Son once I get through the SP of Killzone in the next day or two.  I'll be sure to keep you up to date on all my escapades.  No sexcapades because thats Velo's thing.

 
I've actually been gaming a ton lately between lunching on my Vita, playing the Vita while watching TV, and playing on PS3 whenever the wife will leave me alone. I'm at a 29-day streak now, which is super unusual for me. 

I still play different games at different times and that lengthens the time of play for each individual game, though. Not sure how you guys stay so focused on one at a time and knock them out one after the other. I burn out quickly if I'm not careful.

 
Those Metro games look pretty boring to me.  Really dark visuals and game looks like it would be really linear.  Plus I'm not really into FPS's and such without RPG/upgrade elements, which I don't think Metro has.

PSNProfiles question: do you have to manually update it? I was expecting that mine would automatically update over night, but it was exactly the same this morning. I went to the website and chose "Update Profile" and then it updated.

I can't get past the first level of killzone sf. that game sucks and I suck at it. i'll try again some day.
 
Just made the singular vote for having Diablo 3 on PC. Wow, you guys don't PC game at all, do you?

Diablo 3 is actually the last game I bought full price upon release. Man was that a letdown. Hopefully you guys will regret your purchases as much as I did.

I think it updates once every 24 hours if you're not a subscriber, but I dunno. I just do it manually whenever I look at it.

Yes, but it had some glitches that were (hopefully) ironed out with Redux. I really want to support the developers on this one, since their remastering process was especially stressful due to the strife that was ongoing while they were in Kiev (IIRC?).

It updates automatically, but you can also force the update profile once an hour (if you have a free account.) I'm not sure when exactly it updates on its own, though. Seems like sometimes it's very up-to-date and others I have to push it.

 
Wow, I leave for a night and a super shitty song gets posted and starts a debate about how you can't know someone's personality unless you hang out with them.

We need to get a night crew cop to keep these people in check.
 
I am really getting TLOU MP now!  averaging 3000 parts each round... not getting a lot of kills, but doing a lot of marking and healing.  I use a supporter class and have got the hang of the rifle for it as well.  However I was stuck in a game that had me at 4 on one most of the game, and the 4 were a party, I had no chance to do anything.  I backed out and it seriously crushed my group.  I was at 57 healthy, now I have 14 healthy, 10 sick, and 33 hungry... pissed me off so bad as I was doing so well.  My biggest beef with the game is when it starts you in a game that is underway and doesn't count your stats or the day.  I got 4000 parts in my most recent game but because I joined it in progress I didn't get credit for the day or the parts...  :wall:

I'm playing infamous 2 now and it's awesome. Just a million times smoother than the first.
