PSN Off-Topic - Happy Thanksgiving Chumps and Chumpettes!

Halfway through Resistance: Burning Skies. Overall it's pretty decent but the single most glaring issue is that the AI is terrible. There are some aliens that have jetpacks or whatever and hop from place to place while shooting at you. They have specific places they'll land; you can just zoom in with your sniper rifle and wait for them to pop up in a spot and then headshot them. 4-5 headshots in 30 seconds this way is just weird.

Other than that...ran into a couple situations where it wasn't completely clear that a bomb was about to fall on me and I had to hide under something or die. That sucked a bit.

 
Also, you're in Mt. Juliet? Cool. I'm over in East Nashville. I've got a friend in Antioch, we meet in the Mt. Juliet shopping area to hit up that movie theater semi-regularly. We hit it up for Guardians of the Galaxy a few weeks back.

I live in Providence. Theatre is literally 3 mins from my house.

 
Damn. There's a glitch I sometimes come across where I'll use the drone and then after I go back to my character, I'm under the map and when I respawn my health is 0 for the rest of the match. Also, nothing is more annoying in this game than watching someone that's not a sunflower/scientist trying to revive you while they're being shot at. fuck off. Just skip that challenge, you're not gonna get it.

Finished the story missions in Just Cause 2. Gonna set it aside for a while. It's really fun and I may come back to it later, but it seems like it would be too much of a grind for me to go for that 75% trophy.

Big ol' fuck you to the "Assist Master" boast. I hope to god I have 5 of those by the time I finish all my other wins and stuff. I feel like I might be at 3 or 4. Also, some of the final objectives in Gardens & Graveyards are pretty hard. They load up on flower pots at the end so you can set up a really nice defense, but the time limit is the same as any other point. Just played the one with the mega flower and we were losing our points pretty quick, but they couldn't even get near the final objective. Only one I thought has been pretty easy was the golf course one and of course that's the one that has the trophy tied to it. Also also, been seeing a few 50+ rank people already. Been playin a shitload myself and I'm only 36.

Finally, if there's anyone out there that's still playing (Snakey probably dumped it a the day of release), I could use some partners for Garden Ops on the hardest difficulty. 

 
Throw my name in the list of those who haven't played Resident Evil 4.

I unloaded 82 boxes (35 pounds each) off a truck at work today and totally fucked up my back. My fucking manager told the guys shipping to us that we had a loading dock (we don't). 

Wish I could take a few days off to relax and rest my back while playing some video games.

 
I also have not played RE4. Though with the new version coming out I guess I might take a look even though I absolutely hate over-the-shoulder POV.

 
Tyler beat this boss off stream too? After fighting for almost two hours on stream and making us listen to something about circles? I'm starting to doubt this Tyler...

 
I wrapped up :ps4: The Last of Us Remastered SP last night. Wasn't expecting to beat it as I was only on chapter 8 last night to start but I forgot how much the last 1/3 flies by. Got all the trophies except supplements and weapon upgrades which I'll wrap up on NG+. Definitely a better experience than PS3 version.

I've played RE 4 on Wii, but never finished it. Got maybe half way through? I got the PS3 version, but got annoyed with the controls like everyone here and haven't gone back. Probably will though.

And congrats on the pinball score Pete. That harem multi ball goal is a bitch and should be a wizard goal. Gotta get a little lucky to nail it.
