^ Damn it, I was hoping Deadly Premonition was a Suda51 game so I could commence my "he's overrated" speech. Mixed it up with Shadows of the Damned for some reason.

Yeah I'm definitely liking it so far, it's got this charm to it that's hard to describe but makes it easy to overlook all the faults it may have. I also love the car conversations.

Before the end of each chapter, I would continually drive around until I heard all of the car conversations limited to that chapter; I highly suggest you do the same over the course of your playthrough.

 
After I get the double plats for Thieves in Time, I think I'll plat Sly 1 for therapeutic purposes, then JC2 or OP Unlimited World will hopefully be primed for my 60th plat.

I assume you've figured it out by now, but I changed my mind and am pretty sure Deadly Premonition will be my 10th.

So I popped in Anarchy Reigns tonight. Played for about 2 hours. I tried really hard to like it but my god it sucks. It reminds me a lot of that Bezerk game I played on the dreamcast years back.

Oh and by the way any game that has cut scenes you can't skip can suck it!

Yeah, it's not great.

Maybe the MP is more fun I didn't really check it out. But the SP is kind of a snooze fest.

Beating a couple of the remix bosses is much more difficult than thantaphobia. If/when you get to them, that's when you should decide whether or not to go for the plat.

 
Wow, Madden is a whole lot better than last years!!!  i love the gameplay and all the improvements to MUT has really made it a lot more enjoyable!  Anyone else on PS4 maybe want to play some H2h or Mut at some point?

Plus they've mostly been the same games, so it gives us an idea of what to expect if NA does delay for some reason.

 
Checked out a half hour or so of the Infamous DLC last night. It does a good job of condensing the full game experience into a smaller package. Like snakey said, zooming around the map picking up the collectibles is pretty addictive since there are so many in the smaller map. The arena mode thing is pretty good, too.

Also played some of Metro 2033 Redux. Hard to believe that is a 4 year old games as the graphics are really awesome. Super atmospheric a la the first Bioshock (I might actually prefer it since it feels more "realistic" if that makes sense). The character you're contorlling moves super.. fucking.. slow, though, especially when walking around the little cities where you over hear conversations. The shooting is pretty okay, but I'm not digging the encounters I've had with monsters. I'm playing on pansy mode (not the survivor once that is supposed to be true to the original game) and I still find that you get surrounded by these leapy monsters quickly and they take just enough bullets to make them really annoying. Gonna keep going as the story has me pretty interested.

I am replaying Sly 1 now. 2 nights after work (1 where I played the last episode of TWAU as well) and I only have 1 more world and then the final boss battle left to do. So much less to do in that game than in TiT.

Nice to hear about the infamous DLC. I was tempted to pay full price. May just do that now depending on how I like SS when done.

Metro was definitely atmospheric, but the shooting was blah.

Yeah, that $1.75 killed me. And yeah, we are "friends". I didnt look at leaderboards but will do that tonight if I remember. The game just pissed me off. I'll try it again just to see but doubt I will play it much more.

I dont mind conf calls personally, but hate them for the waste of time.

I watched the video on their website of 2nd lap and the way the car moves is pretty weird. They kind of jump around. How is this game controlled?

Eh, not that good, but not entirely bad, either--I'll definitely get Velocity 2X and TxK (I'm glad I didn't pay for that when it was on sale). Maybe Joe Danger, too.

 
Velocity 2X almost makes up for it because it looks so cool.  But man they are going to catch some shit this month.

Sportsfriends seems OK, but I assume there's nothing to do with it solo.

I played and beat Hoard years ago.  PSASBR I have both versions digitally.

Vita I just bought fucking TxK, damn it.  Joe Danger I don't have on Vita (I don't think it's out yet) but also don't really have any desire to play it again.

Sportsfriends! Awesome! And Velocity 2X is cool. Not sure what Hoard is. "All Stars" I assume you mean Playstation All Stars. I guess that's cool. I already have TxK, but it's great. Is "Joe Dander" about cat allergies?
