I got it from Best Buy yesterday and had a copy for 30 whole minutes before trading it in to Gamestop (at a profit, but explaining it would take longer than I'd like).

I didn't know it was possible to get the ball off a table, that's neato. did the game understand that it was on the floor or just missing?

you would be the 4th person on psnprofiles to get 100% on pinball arcade (if you did it on vita at least, I assume the others are equally uncommon). it's got to be the rarest 100% on the site. I'd be happy to edge my completion % over 50 (and I'm awfully close!). I'm trying to finish out the standard goals now and get a bunch of wacky ass high scores because pinball is fucking awesome.

I had one of those unconcscious runs on the harley davidson table of all things last night and ended up at 300m after clearing all the standard goals. I think it's because I was watching Carnivale at the same time which must grant me powers.

also finally got the wizard goals for the gorgar table which was a lot harder than it seemed at first blush.

I have had it multiple times. It is world class. I reviewed it back when I was just getting into beer. I did not really have enough experience to pick up flavors or aromas then, but I gave it a pretty high score. I don't bother doing reviews anymore because I realized I remember what I like and do not like.

If you like that one then your tastes are where mine were when I started drinking better beer. I loved the Belgian Quads like that since they had more of a sweet taste and were not bitter like the IPAs. I hated IPAs then.

 
So the new 3DS is literally called the "New 3DS"? And some games will require this new CPU, so they won't be playable on the original 3DS? Expect tons of confused and irritated parents and grandparents. This is probably one of the dumbest ideas I've ever heard. First Wii and Wii U, Now 2DS, 3DS, 3DS XL, and New 3DS. I'll never understand the way the guys over at Nintendo think.

Cool. I like beers I can drink. I doubt I will ever like IPAs. I tried the Florida Cracker from Cigar City. Its too bitter. Not smooth at all so I did not like it. Oh and I actually like stouts like Guiness. If they are smooth and creamy.

Yeah I had no idea I could lose the ball off the table either. It was fun watching it float through the table wall and onto the carpet.

Pinball Arcade will probably always be my highest TT games. All that DLC that added to the score sealed that. Shame no more trophies are available for it.

I hate when I have an epic run on a game after I get the last Standard goal during that game because I know I'm earning all those sweet Wizard goals. Wish it could just move you on to the next set without having to start a new game.

they should've called the new 3ds the '4ds' because it's the only handheld that tries to travel back in time to when Nintendo was still relevant.

Wow, you really are not a fan of hops at all if you thought that one was even too bitter. You should give Rapp Brewing (in Seminole) a try instead of Cigar City then. Most of their stuff is more German style beers that typically are not hoppy. They do make some hoppy stuff too, but they had about 30 different beers to pick from when I went there last, and it is easy to get a 6 or 9 beer sampler and stay completely away from hoppy brews.

Another possible place would be 7venth Sun in Dunedin. They primarily focus on Saisons which are not typically hoppy either but have a ton of flavor. They do not usually have as many options on tap though so it could be a bit more hit and miss for you.

So they just decided to completely rip off the dreamcast controller design, huh, turned the color order one quarter turn to the left so it wasn't exactly the same, but used the exact same color shades. Similar all white coloring.

What is more likely to happen is hardly any 3rd party devs will support the new CPU or the 2nd analog nub so that it is still compatible with the older model, or offer multiple control configurations, one which uses 2 sticks and one which doesn't. What dev in their right mind (besides Nintendo) would handicap their sales that much?

And the name.  OMG the name.  New 3DS. C'mon.  It's too easy anymore.

It's also coming to NA in 2015 meaning everyone who gets a new one in holiday 2014 is going to have an outdated model right away.

Yep...plus the vast majority of that is completely irrellevant. Really the only useful additions are the 2nd nub and the improved battery. If somebody is completely new to the 3DS, sure, they'll buy the new version...but there's not enough there to justify an upgrade for the majority of people, I think.

All this really does is screw over the current 3DS/2DS customer base and make it so Nintendo has a half-assed upgrade instead of moving towards a real upgrade of the 3DS hardware that will actually justify customers going out like crazy to pick up the new system.

Nintendo decisions since 2010:

  1. Release 3DS.
  2. Release Wii U.
  3. Release Wii variation without networking or GC backwards compatibility.
  4. Release 3DS without 3D (2DS.)
  5. Release 3DS variation that fractures 3DS game compatibility.

Has there been some massive change to the upper-level management at Nintendo or is this somebody in power with a mental illness ruining the company?

I used to be ike that too when it came to IPAs, but I kept trying and eventually you kinda find one that's not as harsh and then once you do, just latch on.

Since we're talking beer, Left Hand is probably my favorite brewery right now and then just recently were allowed to distribute in MD. I haven't had anything yet from them that I didn't like. The Milk Stout is probably my favorite beer of all time.
