I am going to try and resist picking this up today before the sale ends. I rented this from Redbox a while ago and did like 4 or 5 of the endings. I wouldn't mind going back and picking up some more of the trophies but well I don't think it is worth almost $20 to me for that. I did enjoy the game though.
Still going for $20 at Game Stop? Maybe next $5 code they give away for playing some crappy mobile game I will finally pick this up. I was so psyched for this before it game out and then saw the demos and it was QTE. I tried to play the demo but got annoyed with trying to walk up and down a hill via QTE and bailed on it. I did enjoy Beyond two Souls though so thought maybe I should give this a try for cheap.
hot shots golf is one game that can definitely get away with a focus on the social aspect. besides being the greatest golf game of all time, it's super fun to play against real people. if they have a good async challenge mode it'll have legs for miles.
Those actually sound pretty good. I may have to try a bag.
Did anyone try GrapeVines by the makers of RedVines? They were okay. Nothing beats the original.
I beat Heavy Rain not long before playing Beyond TS. What a disappointment. I didn't hate the game, but I didn't love it either. I wish they'd do an upgraded Heavy Rain for PS4. I'd buy that.
Not sure if you already sent it. Yes I do! Getting all the stars in Joe Danger should be enough for a platinum, but since the original didn't have one I didn't expect the Vita to.
Maybe then they'll finally release DW7 for 3ds. (I have it for PS already but haven't beaten it as I always wander around everywhere to level up and look for people for my town)
Also I just saw the Dragon Quest slime ps4. I must have it. If it doesn't come here I might import it
Ghosts on veteran has a very variable difficulty. A lot of the sections are cake, but then there's the big open war sections and you'll get flanked and instant-killed before you can react or realize. That's a bit annoying.
You licorice people should try Dr. Pepper licorice. First taste is full on Pepperness, but then it's just chewy flavorless stuff. People make Hawaiian Punch, Orange Crush, & Grape Crush varieties as well.

I picked up Heavenly Sword and NGS2 during one of GameStop's deals. I should get on those.
Just beat Watch Dogs. Talk about a pain in the ass last mission. I ended up liking it more as the game progressed (was pretty down on it st first), but I still think it didn't benefit at all from having an open world.
mpaullin im about to start watchdogs. Im just gonna do a quick playthrough main missions I think. Any tips for the main game? side missions give you upgrades? best weapons? any quick hints from a dude that just beat it?
also I hate the ending of system eras when they make crap version for last gen and then good/updated versions for next gen. its like mercenary 2 / lego batman / marvel ultimate alliance all over again.

I'd recommend upgrading all of your hacking skills first and foremost. I thought the game was really boring at first because all of the useful hacking stuff needed to be unlocked.
There is a ton of side shit to do. Some of it is cool (seek out the spider tank digital trip!), some of it is a waste of time. I'd say try each of them out to see what you like. I believe they only ever give you XP, though there are some upgrades that you can only unlock after completing X amount Y side missions. I did a pretty small selection of the side stuff, but unlocked all the upgrades I was interested in pretty early (that's mostly because outside of hacking the upgrades aren't all that useful).
There are ctos towers you need to hack in order to unlock the map and side missions (a la outposts in far cry 3), so it makes sense to do those early.
Weapon wise nothing really stood out to me. The shooting sections are all pretty easy. Eventually some tank like enemies show up. Its nice to save grenade launcher ammo for them (though it is pretty plentiful).
Oh and act two is way long. It has the same number of missions as 3, 4, and, 5 combined. So don't get too down thinking you aren't even half way through the game.
hey rpg and stellar, do you ever get 31 day log in bonus in destiny of spirits or does it reset back to 1 day after 30?
I got 30 day log in bonus 2 days ago, then yesterday it restarted the month and said 1 day log in bonus, this is after being on 30+ days in a row but it was interrupted by that bonus month event. I think I must have messed it up by being in for over 30 days but that event broke the chain but now the trophy won't pop at all. Should I quit for a day or so and then do another 30 in a row and hope I get the trophy. Did you get the trophy on 31 or 30th day? It said 30 days and nothing happened and I checked trophies and nothing. I think it glitched on me, damnit. This is my excuse to play Vita everyday for at least a min.
edit - in my rage I deleted the game, and I don't wanna redownload it, so nevermind.
also I should be awesome and do a 24 hour live cb feed while I go for the velocity x2 trophies. lol it wouldn't have many viewers but still. I need to get a ps4 and start up that twitch thing too. I was with Thermo playing ghosts last nite and I love talking to myself.
I think I will still buy a PS4 though if they release that Slime Edition one stateside. They probably won't but I hope they will, I would buy it in a heart beat.
If it makes you feel better I am completely fed up with Warhammer 40k Space Marine. If it was a physical copy I would seriously finish the game and snap the disc in half. This game is ing annoying.
Edit:
Finished Warhammer 40k. This game is garbage.
Its been 3 years for me, but what I remember is go to the large rock. You can hang on it. He will jump on the rock. You can climb around on the edge and avoid him. Shoot him when you can. It makes a 10/10 difficulty fight into a 5/10 difficulty. Search online and you will see examples.

The end boss on Uncharted 2 wasn't that bad. I think I had more problems with the first one. (Didint even finish Uncharted 3.)
I played maybe halfway through Space Marine before getting bored and quiting it. It was one of those $5 PSN sales along time ago.
You have got to be misremembering. Or you are both the greatest video game player and the worst simultaneously. Uncharted 1 final boss was pretty straight forward. Hide shoot, run to next box. Certainly doable.
Uncharted 2 had a guy chasing you the whole time that could 2 shot kill you. It was very frustrating on Crushing.
Of course your experience can largely be altered by the difficulty you have it set at.
Uncharted 3 boss fight was at Uncharted 1 levels.
But those ghost men in that little plaza area were THE WORST!

Agreed. Although on Crushing, U2 boss fight got way too frustrating for me and at that point after playing several times, I just wanted it done. So I went for the big rock strategy.
