DCJunkey is the infamous bank robber "the Deuce Bandit," confirmed.

Heavenly Sword is pretty QTE heavy (you can tell it was made early in the PS3's cycle as it also has motion controls) , also I don't get the combo mechanic. I look up in the combo list, find a combo that has the comment "block breaker." I execute the block breaker combo, and it doesn't break the block... So far I have found the best way to break blocks is to spam long range chains until the game randomly decides its time for it to break its block. That basically turns it into a repetitive, button mashing quagmire. Also did I mention QTEs for killing bosses and if you fail the QTE they get half their HP back again for no particular fuck ING REASON.

Seems like I remember the bosses being frustrating, the last one in particular. I didn't like Heavenly Sword as much as most did. It was just ok to me.

That was going to be my follow up: would you pay extra to have cross buy?

Then again, now that I think about it, it is pretty cool as it lets you choose which version you want to play for Plus games. I only ever play one version of the game though.

Yeah, it was pretty solid. I liked that the woman would wipe out a room of those aliens if you just ducked behind a counter. It's nice to see an FPS where the NPCs actually get stuff done, and she did that. The touch screen mechanics worked pretty well; I would have preferred a single action or button bound to the secondary fire for them instead of having unique gestures for each, but that wasn't a big deal.

Probably the only real issue I can recall offhand was that the jumping enemies had really stupid AI. They would always jump to the same spot. You could find a spot, headshot the enemy there, and a couple seconds later another alien would jump into the same spot to be headshotted in turn.

The guns were varied and fairly cool. I pretty much stuck to 2-3 of them (which caused me ammo problems...), but the auger was a pretty neat mechanic and I liked that the enemy had them as well.

 
Gonna play some Ghosts extinction on ps3 if anyone wants to join me. I'm trying to get alot of teeth so I can upgrade the classes special abilities. So far I just have faster regen and a free skill point. I want to upgrade my ims and riot shield too, but it costs soooooo much

Edit: Got it. I couldn't get the stupid light to turn on, but it was one of the prizes for the spider spin and that's how I got it.

By the way, did you know that if you look at the goals in table menu while you're not playing a game and hit cross on the goal it'll tell you how to get it?

How was Divekick?

Castlestorm got old fast. I didn't like the mixed mechanics of switching back and forth between using the character, spells, and ballista. It always felt like I was scrambling and resizing the screen and fighting the controls more than enjoying the game. I played on Vita, though.

If you haven't already started I'll jump in. I'm about at the point where the scavenger and relic trophies are all I have left. Only 4 maps left in the veteran campaign and the last two are short.

I did. The instructions said to hit the little button to then the light on, and then have the ball drain down the right side. But I couldn't hit that button, it was at the stupidest angle. And then I ended up getting what I needed through the spider spin, so its all good now.

swell. now that I've polished off the standard goals I find myself overwhelmed by the wizard goals. that shit takes some skill and patience that I don't have.

I'm just going for the top five and standard goal trophies on each table. Then I'll stick to playing the TNG table forever because it's easily the best one.
 
Random question. Have there been any good WiiU sales lately? Out of nowhere my GF and I are looking into getting one as a party game type of deal to play with friends when they come over. And so she can have Hyrule Warriors.

Mr. Expert of sales and all things related (Vigilante), any help?

You're playing ps3 though, I got the ps4 tables. Can you still see scores like that? I have some scores on there from years ago it seems like for ps3, but i have no idea if they're good or not.

 
Finished up dat PvZ plat and hunnid. TT won't update for some reason, but it looks like it's worth almost 3300 puntos. Racked in about 22 hours of playtime, but I'll keep playing it since my friends hop on from time to time and there's bound to be more free DLC incoming. I'm starting to regret buying Diablo 3, though. Getting fuckin' bored of it even if I play with friends.

EDIT: Needa get dat TLoU:R before you guys quit playin that.

Good luck with that. I'll probably never see it. Its been years since I've been on Facebook and I dont even know that I use whatever e-mail it was registered to anymore, because I haven't seen Facebook notifications in forever. Not that I really used it that much to start with. I probably should dig it up though, it would be fun to BS with you guys on there.
