Oh and Tyler, mods only care if you post dick pics, pics of dudes with no shirt on, or call them out for abusing their power. If that pizza thread had a picture of a reasonably attractive dude in it, someone would have shut it down by now.

But let's see if we can make that thread popular enough to get it on the CAG twitter.
 
I don't know if everyone saw, but Frisky's thread got modded for people being off topic. But he said when we all left that wouldn't be an issue, remember? Weird. Maybe I'll go give him a pity bump from the bottom of the second page.
 
That's the thing about buying crazy shit, to the person knee deep in the stuff, it seems completely normal, that's the "crazy" part. For instance, to compulsive hoarders, having all the rooms full of "useful stuff" IE. trash seems completely normal to them, that's the hallmark of mental illness, from the sufferer's perspective, everything makes sense.

Guys, breaking news just in!

Someone posted this on the GTAV thread on GAF, check it son-

1. I saw this at the GameStop managers conference in Anehiem. Rockstar gave a 45 minute closed doors presentation.

2. They showed us multiple locals. The city, underwater areas, country side etc.

3. Foliage has been completely reworked. Tree barks been redone, individual grass blades, wild flowers etc. This applies to underwater areas as well. Completely reworked coral reefs and underwater plants.

4. Draw distance now is INSANE. One example they showed us was the main city at night. They showed it on PS3 first amd showed us how all lighting at a distance was pre baked. In the remaster its all pre loaded in real time and is dynamic. You can see lights and traffic flow from massive distances.

5. Water rendering system has been completely redone. Rivers / Ocean / rain are gorgeous

6. No release date given. They simply said soon.

7. Animal texture work has been 100 % re done.

8. Anti Aliasing looked great with little to no jaggies. Looked 1080p to me. It was demoed on PS4.

9. Promised "new" content. One example was new songs / soundtrack / radio stations.

10. Best remaster Ive seen by far. I literally gasped at the differences.

 
So after beating Destiny I have to admit. The story is rather dull and bland. Other than great graphics im kinda over this game. Ill still stick around because all my friends have it but TLOU MP is my go to MP game of choice.

Its good though. We shall have Destiny to thank for making us appreciate a truly GREAT series like Borderlands even more.

Yea I have to admit, Borderlands does what it does better than Destiny tried to do. Like I said though im still keeping Destiny and ill be around playing MP and such. Just not as much as I play TLOU. :D

 
Ugh, those nights you meet your girl out after work, and she's all ready to bang, then she passes out as soon as we get home :\

Edit: And I still have to get her back to her car at 7am so she can get to work :/ :/

So, are the only people left on Earth in the Destiny universe the zombie Guardians resurrected by the Ghosts? It just now dawned on me that they talk about The City surrounded by The Wall, but the only place you ever visited in the beta (and I assume the main game) with people in it is the Tower which is completely populated by zombies and a handful of merchants (who might also be zombies). That would be pretty grim.

That's the time some reviewers got in the app for actual time doing the story missions, that doesn't include any required grinding for levels, strikes, messing with gear in the tower, etc.

Games like that (plus the upcoming Sherlock Holmes) are why I'm thinking I should pick up a 3 month Gamefly card. Not spectacular games but at least they're games I have an interest in playing.

I've been finding myself jumping back and forth between games lately. Should finish off the plat for Second Son and sell it or trade it in because if I'm being honest with myself I won't play it again.

I think I may bite the bullet and just Redbox Murdered: Soul Suspect and MGS: GZ for PS3. I prefer to play both PS4, but RedBox has a coupon that expires in 3 days for Rent 1 get 1 free I am not fully sure if it works on games though, but I Imagine that if I can get those games I can probably blast through them both in one day.

6 hours for Destiny seems like a totally legit number. I mean, I be a Rogue Legacy in 10 minutes if you only count the final boss and dont include any of the otherstuff you have to do in the game.

The Redbox I can walk to never has any good games. And I don't want to bother driving to an out of the way location because I've gotten paper copies the last 4 times I tried to rent games.

Plus no PS4 games sucks.

I figure Gamefly will be nice to pick up the occasional Vita or 3DS game as well. Don't even need the 2 games plan since I can barely make it through a single game as is (and I assume I should be near a shipping center but I haven't used them for a couple years), so that would only cost about $9/month.

true story, i went to scratch my head during my latest v2x binge and basically lightly clubbed the side of my head with a claw.  my fingers didn't open at all.

perfecting level 34 was an absolute nightmare.  turns out (afteri watching a speed run vid) i was actually considerably faster than par, but found out weapons were ammo based (i thought they were time based), which had been causing me to run out of bullets early and so one combat was slowing me down tons. 

the best thing about perfecting a level is knowing you'll never need to master it again.  my hands still ache.  i will have nightmares about that stupid level.  (i spent so much time perfecting the teledashing through the entire level, had no idea it was something else entirely).
