Uh...he was convicted. They should have dumped him months ago. They're not being pro-active, they're running scared because of the Ray Rice thing. The only thing not over with is that he's appealing, but that can drag on for years.

That could take years though. And he's already been convicted. He knew he did it and he and his lawyers played the court system by getting heard by a judge first knowing he would be guilty and could then request a jury trial all to drag this out as long as possible. NFL career is so short, delay, delay, delay all you can so you can make the most money you can.

Ninja'd
After reading some more on it I see that he was actually convicted so yeah I totally agree with what they did and they possibly should have done it sooner.

Tyler has 16,110 posts and 8562 Likes...that is over 53% of his comments have likes and considering that this like thing is fairly new...he is probably over 60-70% maybe more! I love Tyler, but what the actual butt fuck? Nothing against him at all, I mean I was absolutely captivated with the Fridge story just as much as the next guy, if not more, but these numbers are insane! The next closest I can find on the site is over 4500. Is Tyler the most liked guy on CAG? Anyway keep it up Stormin' Mormon! The next time one of your appliances breaks, it may put you over 10k!
Ninja and Stotch have more likes than me. But ninja posts in the Steam thread where everyone is a like-whore and both give and receive all the time.

Not sure how Stotch is ahead of me. Pretty sure he's deleting old posts to keep his L/P ratio super high. Also, I post information from time to time from other sites like the PS Blog and such. Every post Stotch does is gunning for likes.

Flockers will have a plat (21 trophies) PS4

Fibbage two trophy lists (PS4 & PS3) 10 Trophies ea

Run Like Hell! (9) Vita

Pier Solar and the Great Architects PS4, Plat (38)
All good news. How the fuck does Flockers get a plat though? Someone on the Trophy team has a huge hard-on for Team 17, since all 3 Alien Breed games and about half the Worms games also have plats. I'm shocked SuperFrog didn't get one.

Separate trophy lists are always awesome, especially on cross-buy stuff like Fibbage.

About fucking time on Pier Solar. They were gunning for a May/June release last I heard about the game and then they fell completely off the radar. Nice that it will have a plat.

I wonder if Carolina even had a choice. Seeing that they delayed doing anything for so long and NOW all of a sudden? Even though it came from the Panthers, I'm pretty sure this was all the NFL and Roger Goodell's doing putting pressure on them.

Next up, Ray McDonald of 49ers. That one is still a bit iffy. Unless he admits to what he did, there still is some due process that comes into play.

So it sounds like DriveClub WON'T take up a spot in the PS+ October lineup, meaning we'll get the Driveclub glorified demo and two other games:

Fred Dutton 13 September, 2014 @ 2:04 pm

Driveclub will be in addition to you regular PS Plus allocation. There’s loads of content included. Do try it out – I think you’ll have a great time with it, and at no additional cost to your wallet.

Sorry, but no. I went into it knowing absolutely nothing about the game aside from that it's a very popular series with a lot of cut scenes, so it's not even an issue of going into it with misconceptions. I don't think it's overrated--I legitimately think it's trash in story, dialogue, and gameplay. The only polish involved was Hideo polishing his dick to spooge all over the game. I'm honestly confused how anybody could like it at all, let alone think it's great.
I'm sorry, but you're a crazy person.

I'm confused on how if Greg Hardy was convicted what his punishment was supposed to be. He obviously didn't go to jail.
I'm no justice system savant, but it was some sort of pre trial thing where he goes before a judge and the judge hears the case and makes a ruling. If he's found innocent, then that's that. If guilty, he can then request a "real" jury trial, which that takes a long time to organize.

What a shit system that is. If somebody wants to possibly get the benefit of innocence via judge, they should be held accountable for the guilty sentencing as well rather than put things off indefinitely with a jury trial. There's no downside to going the judge ruling route, it sounds like, only benefit for the accused.

That's bullshit IMO. He got a judge sentencing, it should have been carried out with prison time with him appealing from prison like everybody else gets.
Yeah, something like this, he has a right to be judged by his peers. His lawyers used a loophole allowing a way to have this first hearing that was a way to delay this whole thing.

What's funny is that despite everybody absolutely disagreeing with me about the game being terrible, only a single criticism I gave for the game was challenged (that there is a way to release your gun trigger without firing -- Vigilante offered this one.) So it's nice that you all have opinions, but interesting that nobody is even attempting to argue that the problems I had with the game are not valid criticisms.

I didn't challenge them because I find them absurd overreactions in general that have already been over explained to death in so many reviews and fan pieces. I think MGS2 has a fantastic, unique form of stealth gameplay that's really satisfying and refined, though still conforms to enough conventions to not be overly frustrating or difficult to get a hang of (guard patterns for instance). I will agree the control scheme is awkward at first, but once I got a hang of it after an hour or two I didn't have any issues enjoying the game immensely. The story is cheesy and over the top, but that's Kojima and I find his patented brand of convoluted insanity really compelling and engaging. Also for when it was released, nobody was doing stuff to the cinematic degree MGS1 and 2 did, which might seem standard now but back when it was released was far ahead of its time (and I personally feel holds up to a lot of modern releases). Really, I think it's a brilliant game with a few rough edges and contrivances that will annoy some people, but even then is polished enough that I think most people should at least be able to see why others enjoy it.

Right. By a female judge. Found guilty by one person. He appealed. #LegalSystem
How's that work then, should a female not be allowed to be a judge? Being found guilty by one person, a judge, reviewing the facts of the case and sworn testimony. I think you can at least agree he did *something* you wouldn't want someone to do to your own daughter?

I agree he shouldn't go to jail just yet until a jury trial. But he certainly doesn't deserve your support, IMO. At this point though, as Seinfeld would say, you aren't rooting on the man, your rooting for the laundry, right laundrymatt?

But really support who you want, its all good.

I think if I were willing to give it more time you'd be right, but after a mere hour or two of playing for me I would actually 100% side with therm. it was one of a very very small number of games that I just couldn't stand playing so I stopped.

I did repick it up on digital sale a while back just so I would hopefully give it a fair shake later.

And regarding likes: I give Tyler more likes than anyone I think. I just appreciate a good effort and he seems like a nice guy. But then he says things like "I don't know how Stotch gets so many likes." So now I know he's just faking it.

And the only person I've seen make a post where they actually cared about likes was that one FakeChamp made a couple weeks ago.

Wow, Knowshon Moreno, AJ Green and Desean Jackson injured too.

This is turning into a dark Sunday indeed.
Between Injuries and Domestic Violence cases, over half of every starting player for every team is going to be 2nd string. Maybe the Raiders have a chance this year. LOL Raiders Vs Jags in the AFC Championship and St. Louis Vs Tampa Bay in the NFC Championship

I use mobile almost exclusively now so I never see the likes on anyone's posts. I always assumed everything tyler said was Like gold until I saw him complaining about me the other day (I didn't know I was a Like magnet either, but apparently so?).

it all has just about as much meaning as taint width so I haven't paid too much attention, it's just fun extra cag bs.

Matt your boys better take care of the Lions here.

I got that asteroid trophy in Dead Space last night. What a beach of a trophy for just a bronze.

Ok, now that it's finally installed off the Revelations disc (7.8 Gig install took forever), time to find out what all the anti-fuss is about the original Assassin's Creed. I hope there's a tutorial in the game as no manual came with it.
