I came here to post an eBay issue too.

The guy who won my sparrow code is in Canada. I had it listed as US only. What do I do now? There's no way I'm sending it to someone in canada because when he tries to use it on his Canadian PSN account, he'll get an error and tell me the code doesn't work.

Did you put that in the description, or did you actually set your settings to US only?

Also, I'm not saying you have to mail the code, just say that you will and then ask the winner if he cares about it. Most people don't need the paper.

I'm the same, whenever I get an alert that I have a message from a buyer, I'm like "oh fuck what do they want?!?!?"

Problem I had with just asking the buyer after the auction is over is that I've sold codes before where the buyer never responds (I guess people don't realize you can actually communicate via ebay) so I sit on the code for a few days and then finally just mail it out. I try and be up front about it now hoping that the people bidding will read the descrption which many obviously don't or blatantly ignore anyway.

My buyer hasn't paid, and can't pay because I have the settings to only go to US addresses. He sent me a message telling me to change it...not asking me if I could, telling me. In my opinion, this is on him and he shouldn't have bid on it. Since he hasn't paid, can I just cancel it?

I believe it dies on its own after a certain amount of time without payment. Not sure how long, though.

Looking around online, and from what I've seen in previous comments, I believe the code will work for him. The PSN region is the same for US and CA. I'd imagine somebody can weigh in to verify that they've used US codes in Canada, but I'm not sure if we have any of those wacky Canadians in here. Maybe try the PSN trading thread to find out?

Oh, I agree that it wants to be one, but it's not. Most of the things you listed are only half-baked features (no trading/market, clan is useless, no matchmaking, no communication outside party, hub/tower is a linear path for yourself only). The game is downright lifeless and devoid of any interaction between players. Yeah, it's always online but it doesn't need to be, lol. I triggered a timed event and had to complete it by myself.

Pretty disappointing. Hell, PSO had better social features and came out nearly 15 years ago. GTAV as well, despite all its problems. If I want to link up with my clan it's as simple as pressing the 'select' button. Complete a mission/task or communicate with a random? Press of a button. None of that is here.

Not saying it's a bad game. I've oddly still enjoyed myself. But I don't know how I'd currently categorize it. MMO is certainly not at the top of the list.

When you first start playing Thief, you sort of feel like the bashing is unjust. Then once you get to the 4th chapter, you are right there on the bandwagon. I'll wait for Thief to hit $4.99 before I pick it up again. Having unfinished games irritates me.

 
Gonna be pulling a Snakey on Thief.  Played the prologue and the first chapter and it was one of the most boring things I've ever played.  Going to sell it.  Hope we never get it on PS+ because I have no desire to ever play it again.

The entire first chapter involved jumping across a few roofs, walking over some rafters, taking down 3 guys, and pushing Box over and over and over again to steal things, pick locks, etc.  What a piece of crap.  I should start doing more research before I buy games.  I thought Thief was going to be stealth action, but there was no action in the first hour of the game that I just played.

So when did Amazon's fees go from 15% to 20% for selling games? I think I am going to start selling some of my games if you guys are interested. First things first after reading what you guys have said, I want to see if I can get $60 for my Destiny Guardian Edition. Let me know if you know anyone that is interested.

NBA2k14 platinum progress:

Got 5 consecutive wins pretty easily, as I got matched up with 5 non-cheesers in a row. I played 2k11 extensively (mostly myplayer), and I've played 2k14 enough to be able to throttle opponents who leave shooters open. Who'd have thought? Basketball is easier when you take open shots. Amazing concept. However, I have no defense for the cheesers, the autists who have played online literally for 500 hours and not only know every animation exploit in the game, but do nothing but those exploits on both offense and defense. I'm not sure if there even is a way to counter that (their records indicate there isn't), but I'm not about to play those idiots enough to figure a strategy out.

I contemplated editing my profile to mirror Therms in order to make this post/10 Therms

P.S. Only the MyTeam grind, the hall of fame, and LeBron trophies remain until the plat is mine. The HOF will come since I enjoy myplayer, and the MyTeam thing will be a drag. Might prevent me from going for the plat.
