I thought i was in the OT thread and saw all these annoying dumbasses posting, then I realized I was in the PSN thread and it all became clear. Was scared for a second. Its scary being around so many idiots in that other thread.

Yeah, they're opening one here in Baltimore, pretty much ensuring I'll be making all of my new game purchases at Best Buy now.

allergies are the worst, I feel bad for anyone that has to put up with that crap regularly. seems like everybody in Kansas has tons of allergy problems all the time, it's a miracle anyone here is still alive.

I started out trying to kill one with my sword, then figured it out. :wall:

So far I've killed I think 5 captains. All were super easy. The ones who are weak to stealth or headshots are ridiculous. The game is still a cakewalk so far. I ran away once when surrounded by about 30 orcs, but that was because I was trying to get intel out of one of them and knew I'd kill him if I tried fighting the mob head-on. Waited a minute on top of a building, they started wandering off, and the intel orc was at the front of a line of about ten. I just walked up the back and stealth-killed each in turn until I got to him. Way too easy.

My only death so far was against one of those big animal things while being attacked by orcs with spears. Basically where you're in the quest to catch Gollum. I wasn't expecting the animal to do that much damage and went down in one hit. Second time around it was easy, though.

Trying to decide if it gets more difficult further in or if I need to bump it up from normal.

 
Did Corg get pissed off or something? I've seen him posting in other threads, but it seems he hasn't been in here for a few days.

He might also be pissed because the A's blew that game last night.

I thought I saw one, but that was for challenge. Main story has one difficulty, you're right. That kind of sucks. The devs apparently said to make it more difficult you just have to play in a stupid manner, like sending death threats to captains and charging in without intel or stealth. That's a shitty approach to it. What a shame.

All the captains I've fought so far have been the first-tier ones, though. Hopefully the higher-level captains have lots of orcs on hand that are also tougher than what I've run into thus far.
