PSN Off-Topic - Happy Thanksgiving Chumps and Chumpettes!

Doubt I'll use the USB music thing but I do have a couple of questions about it.  Is there a limit to the size of the stick and will other USB devices work, like an external hard drive?

I think Arkham is a much better game, but if you've already played through it... personally I couldn't stomach the challenge mode. Only trophies I have left for that game.

The only reason I would suggest you to play through Mass Effect would be to get to the much better 2nd and 3rd entries.

  • Play games on nice, big TV instead of small, glare-attracting screen
  • Play games with real DS4 controller instead of tiny nubs and sticky buttons
  • Listen to games through real speakers instead of tinny crap speakers or headphones
But hey, it's not for everyone.

jkam, if you just want HBOGo and something small, just get a $35 Chromecast.

ME3 is much better than ME1? On what planet?

 
Ghosts is listed as being 5.5 hours at HLTB for the main story and 8.5 for completionists. I'm sure that anybody saying the game is 4-5 hours long is rushing through probably on an easy setting and is not doing the collection trophies and such. 8.5 sounds about right for the campaign on a difficulty setting that is appropriate for your skill level. I'll be really surprised if AW isn't about the same way.

BO2 is listed as being 7 hours for main, btw. BO1 as well. "Rushed" times are 4.5 and 5.5 hours respectively with 250/185 polled. Rushed for Ghosts was 4h.

 
Damn it, so nothing in the PS4 update about fixing messaging so it doesn't take 3 minutes after you receive a notification to actually be able to read the message?  Or having the PS4 and PS3 on the same page so I don't get the same message sent to both devices?

For the first one, they're not going to advertise that they're fixing that because then they're publicly admitting that it's currently broken. So the fix may still be coming, they're just not going to advertise it.

2nd one they could probably mention, but it's also possible they don't want to currently advertise that it doesn't work very well.

Isn't that the norm for that series? Part of me is shocked they haven't gone the Titanfall route and skipped the single player altogether.

I'll blast through the single player, play a little multiplayer, and then trade it back in time for Far Cry 4. About 2 weeks is probably my limit for how long I would want to play COD.

 
While I still need to play ME3, ME1 can be a real chore to get through these days. I can't imagine ME3 being that much of a step backwards in gameplay elements.

gameplay wise I would agree that ME2 is better than ME1 but I think ME3 took a lot of stuff and went backwards with it. Didnt feel anywhere near as smooth as ME2 and even less so than ME1 (and ME1 gameplay has not aged well)

Played all 3 multiple times on my 360. Favorite trilogy. Heck, Mass Effect 2 is the only game on it that I've gotten all achievements (including DLC) for.

I think ME3 did go pretty backwards, they made a lot of powers not fun to use, took out all of the exploration aspect, etc. Plus the controls did not work well in ME3.

 
I think Borderlands 2 for vita skipped QA testing entirely. Love the game, and think it's a great fit for playing on the go, but I've had 6 or 7 crashes now, and 1 huge graphical glitch that needed a restart to fix. Fun game when it works though

Interesting, I never had any problems with it. Playing it on the slim?

Sounds like you are extremely lucky. Looks like a lot of people are having frequent crashing. It isn't too big of a problem because the game auto saves frequently, but still annoying. As far as my vita goes, this is the only game doing this. I'd be more worried if every game was crashimg
