Once I've got everything else done I'll literally have to play a 3rd time through because the game has tutorials that are missable and there's no way see which ones you're missing.

The game is actually pretty good, it's that Platinum is full of retards for the extra stuff they put in there. The running sections (there are three) are terrible, the trophies aren't well-designed, and the pro-bending is pretty lame as well. The campaign is fine and the combat is fun, though.

So basically 2/3 of the game is good, but dragged down by the stupid shit. If I do have to run through the game a 3rd time I'll do it on easy just for that last trophy, so that should be quick.

I'm a bit confused over how bad the story is, though. Apparently the writers for LoK did write the game's story, but anybody with even the slightest knowledge of the Avatar universe would realize that Korra's re-learning of how to Earth, Fire, and Air bend makes no sense. The Water bending recovery is understandable; Korra has to collect spirit water to allow her to bend again. For the other three the game just says "Oh, yeah! Earth bending requires remaining rooted to one place!" etc.. Korra already knows how to use all three of those styles so they're not locked, she's just apparently too stupid to remember how to do them.  :wall:

Last night I went to Sonic and got a corndog because bums was talking about it and the corndog was delicious and bums was right and Tyler is wrong because Tyler is always wrong and he's a dummy.

Velo gets special treatment cause of everything he shows off...People are still waiting for wife pics and FWB faces...and I'm pretty sure my gf wouldn't be happy with me sending nude pics out to people anywho.

You're right. There's nothing classier than 18 years of institutionalized cheating and cover-ups, coupled with spouting that you're winning because of some fictitious "Carolina Way" and not because you're letting in kids nobody else in the ACC will take and keeping them eligible by steering them into fake no-work classes. Anyone who's gloating that you got caught is the non-classy one? Got it.

I don't mind NC mostly because of MJ...Duke is my hated program, though go Jabari Parker! I'm a Badger/Jayhawk fan.

Those weren't my words, except the "gloating" one. You should have taken a page out of Carolina's book and plagiarized my post.

don't assume I am a tar heel. I am a very big acc fan. I guess you do not realize how bad this is for the conference. I would not wish this on any school. This will cost the entire conference not just your enemy. Gloating is a feeling of malicious self-satisfaction. I do not believe anyone can justify that as classy.

I do not take pleasure or self satisfaction from anyone's troubles.

 
I could only imagine the shitstorm that would ensue if I started sharing pics. Its hard enough (*cough*) just to convince that its OK and the pics are safe and private. Then to find out they are being shared. Whoa boy.

I dont like UNC either but lets not forget that every major program in the country cheats for its athletes. This may be a wide spread problem that the administration had to know about, but lets not put blinders on to what really goes on in every university. People love to cheat the system. Just look at video games! woot!

Spoilering this because I'm sure nobody else cares.

What's bad for the conference is a school that feels it is above the rules and has felt that way for years. Coaches are coming out now saying that they knew Dean Smith was dirty, but they didn't want to be the one to blow the whistle on a legend. I'm sorry, but UNC has been dirty for years, and the only people who didn't seem to know it were Carolina fans. If "good for the conference" means that one school gets to play by a different set of rules than everybody else, then I guess I don't want things to be good for the conference. I'd rather go back to the days when as a citizen of North Carolina you could take pride in your flagship state university.

And no, pharm, every major program is not cheating to the extent that Carolina was. Easy classes? Sure. Advantages for athletes? Sure. But the extent to which Carolina orchestrated and attempted to cover up transgressions is pretty ridiculous. If you have some free time grinding a game read through the 700+ pages of incriminating e-mails and powerpoint slides (the powerpoints are my favorite).

I live in Charlotte. Half my friends went to Carolina. Every single one of them is embarrassed and ashamed, as well they should be. The only people saying "stop gloating" and "everybody does it" are people who didn't go there.
