This sums up the time I've had lately. Finally fixed the blower fan issue in my truck, traced it back to a faulty ground connection. Now, in my wife's car, the a/c clutch stops engaging after 10-15 minutes of driving. Works like a charm up until that point. Really frustrating and I can't find a good answer anywhere online.

 
Just posted in the on topic thread but I'll post here... After finishing all the ghost levels and going back to collect the diamonds in the normal levels and unlocking moon levels... Mutant mudds is actually fun. It took way too long to get to this point, but I'm happy I kept playing. This is one of those few times where hanging in there actually paid off. Also did I mention that I finished tower fall ascension quest mode coop. Man it gets tough as fuck . fuck those diamonds that shoot after they die.

I enjoyed Mutant Mudds all the way through, but glad to hear you found some enjoyment out of it.

CT knows this one, but currently have no time to fix it yet, due to working on their new game. Creating patches for consoles is harder to do for the PCv ersion, and the PC version wasn't patched for months either.

 
Does anyone know if pre-orders on PSN have worked for the buy x get y back type of promotions?

I ask because I just loaded up on Gamestop credit for 15% off.  I plan to turn that all into PSN credit.  I am getting LBP3 for my kid with some of that and I was hoping I could reduce my cost even more if another promo happened.

So, I upgraded my hard drive in my ps3 and am having problems syncing my trophies for the first time. Anyone else have this issue? I did a sync right before I changed the hard drive to make sure the most recent trophies were on the server.

Is it failing or just really really slow? It took me like 5 minutes the last 2 times I synced, so I am wondering if the servers are just really slow right now for some reason.

If it is failing, try comparing trophies with someone on your friends list. Ideally use someone who has a handful of trophies. That always seems to fix it for me.

You'll have to try several times. I think I had to try like 15 different times. It'll take forever and fail numerous times, then all of a sudden it'll just work.

It is the first time syncing with the new hdd, just taking really long. I just read in a few different places that it is a common problem with syncing for the first time. I will just have to keep trying and waiting I guess.

That's normal for a new HDD, so it'll get better after a few times.

Yeah, if it were closer to $300 I would say it could be possible. I can't find any return policies on the site. From what I've read it's supposed to be a place to buy and sell art.

Yeah I had the same issue, it took forever then failed every time. Turn on auto-update and earn a trophy in a game but don't sync it, then let it sync the trophies overnight using the auto update. That worked for me the first time.

 
I love the DS4 but I hate the battery life.  Since I play so many co-op games with my son, I decided to get a 3rd DS4 with the Target promotion this week.

Wife went to the nearest Target and they were all out of them.  In fact, damn near every Target in the North Atlanta metro area were out of them (except the one in Norcross).  It was not worth the drive, but luckily my wife asked about rain checks and got one.

 
Am I just missing it, or is there no deal topic on that $200 PS4? I know it isn't legit, but I'm surprised there isn't a topic with 1000 replies by now about how people are going to flip them to GameStop to be millionaires.

The battery life is pretty crappy, but I do love the feel of the controller.

 
And you can wirelessly sync the DS4 with the PS3 now. They should outright update the drivers so the PS home button works, but at least no more cables.

There is a third party battery you attach to the back of the DS4, but I don't know how much heft it adds or how it affects the feel of the controller.

The rumble and motion controls don't work when using a DS4 with PS3, right?

The rubber just started peeling on the left analog stick on one of my DS4s. I was reading on GAF that people replace them out with the Xbone sticks with good results, but that they aren't as precise feeling. I hope Sony gets their shit together on these, because it's a great controller with some bad issues.
