Did anyone mention Skullgirls coming to PS4 and Vita? Crossbuy seems rather doubtful but they'll probably have a cheap upgrade option available, though this is America where we seem to be randomly excluded on certain PSN deals like that.

Speaking of being excluded, sounds like the White PS4 will be sold without Destiny if people actually don't want that game and just want the console for $400. But only confirmed for Europe for now. Because America hates colors and options and cross-buy and upgrade discounts apparently.

I hate that shit. Why do they always assume Americans wouldn't buy that stuff? I've been back and forth over that bundle a hundred times now...but if I could get the console/controller by itself I would be much closer to buying it. Especially with that Limited Edition game being announced...not going to need a second copy.

And yeah, I seen Frisky mention it in "that thread that shall not be named", but it's like the first time he's beat one of us to the punch posting something.

Might not get enough to boost, but I think I'm going to dedicate one night a week to playing. You and anyone else are free to join in.
I bet we could, it's an older game, but I'm sure there's a lot of people who ignored the online. Or just found it fun and would be willing to play to help out. Would I need to know a bunch of advanced stuff to be helpful? I played the first game but it's been years ago now. I recall weapons and plasmids and shooting shit.

Read faster affa. I need to see my Oreo investment paying off.
I'm trying, I'm trying. I've got a crawler (aka best little dude ever) that takes up a ton of time. And now I have to reorganize my bookmark tabs for this thread. And I ended up buying like 20 steam games I'm never going to play and need to find time to not play them. Meanwhile, I'm still trying to plat Sorcery Saga. I've also figured out a way to backlog myself at the library -- i have like 35 books and movies out that I'm working hard on never reading/watching and building up a nice fine for. Oh, and I've been waking up at 5 am to work out, which means my late night gaming time is gone.

I did find an awesome book for little ones though -- I highly recommend Cock-a-doodle-oops. It's about the rooster going to the beach for a week and all the other animals trying to fill in. But Farmer McPeeper is a really deep sleeper...

Sweet jesus. From one contrarian to another, your ability to always find ways to disagree with me is incredible. I've been here 2 years and now you suddenly have to challenge me on everything?

Hoping I get a chance to kick your ass during the Destiny beta next week. Provided there's some kind of way to arrange matches, I'll be demanding satisfaction.

So since there seem to be a lot of trophy boosts being organized lately, what do people think of doing Bioshock 2 MP? Basically, you'd need a good amount of people to get the trophies. 8 is ideal.
8? Any XP boosting only has a max of 6 players (for the preferred game mode and method) and I'm sure every other game mode is dead enough where you would only need like the 2 players or whatever to start the game. I don't remember anything in Bioshock 2 being difficult. It's basically you just do this objective one time and you're good to go.

Anyway, I'd be down anytime to get a good XP session down. I still have like 6-7 levels to go for rebirth and it's been a while since I've boosted it. I need them to announce a shut down or something to really motivate me.

I got Bioshock 2 also and wouldn't mind working on those trophies. Just need to know what day and time your planning.

yeah im down for bioshock 2 also. n wow, those guns are insane. I was going off the guns in the ta guide, only missing that 1 bazooka ex, ill grab it when i run back down to lv1 later. but that's just for a speed boost. that video of all those barrels is insane. im already done with neverland, so i really don't need any more op. I barely dual wielded or used status effects. Mainly Vashyron with MG and mg case, Zephyr with HG and grenades, and Leanne with HG and first aid kits.

n wow those 100% tlou mp 3 day faction things stress ya out. My facebook friends are all gonna die!

Woo, finally got the Cabrera trophy. :D/

Any suggestions on getting up to 10 pitches in an AB? Best I've managed so far is 8.
Just lower the pitch speed to 0. You'll be able to have time to let every single ball go by without chasing it to build up a pitch count. And then start swinging a tad late to foul things off. You should get it during the course of a 9 inning game pretty easily then.

Alan Wake was awesome. You guys are crazy. Gameplay was pretty suspenseful in the dark woods and the story was great. Really hoping Remedy does a sequel after Quantum Break. Speaking of which, I have high hopes for QB. Remedy really are talented devs and I think they can do some cool stuff with the time stop/shift/whatever mechanic. I just hope the live action stuff is mercifully short.

I actually really enjoy the Bioshock 2 MP, so I'd be down to play (or boost or whatever), provided you don't need the map packs and I'm awake at the time (my sleep schedule has been all kinds of messed up lately).

I've only played Bioshock 2 singleplayer on Xbox 360 but I'll probably be able to find a copy for PS3. I already said my piece regarding Alan Wake and how I enjoyed it, I'm also hoping that Quantum Break actually does well. I don't doubt that it'll be brought up and compared to those other games I used as examples on a previous page. Because not that many gamers like movie-like experiences. It still boggles my mind that Beyond Two Souls was playable by itself. Makes it look and seem like it really is a movie.

I'm out of the no-guide Braid challenge already it seems. It's kinda silly, but
in world 2 where you have to use the puzzle as a platform, how the heck was I supposed to know I could do that?
Other than that no real trouble so far, and it's good fun. Had to quit playing earlier than I would have liked since my wife's car is broke down and I had to pick her up from work. Looking forward to spending some time with it this evening.

I was actually going to quote your post, but it was so many posts ago I didn't bother. Other than being story heavy games, Alan Wake and The Last of Us are waaay different from Beyond Two Souls and Heavy Rain. The key difference is you are actually playing the first two and more of a passive observer of David Cage's nonsense stories for the second. I'd never fault anyone for not liking those games.

Haha... sorry, I didn't realize I was the only one. I guess it's easy to assume that when a group of people don't argue with you that they're on your side. I thought we were having more of a "discussion" this round (I did tell you that I wasn't trying to direct my frustration on the matter at you after all)

I somewhat respect you though, even if you are always wrong about everything.

I flew for like 10 minutes in Luftrausers and never saw a blimp. Though I did kill an unseen submarine for te first time when my nuke went off. And I think I got a laser ace to appear, but it either didn't die when I nuked or it was some other plane because the trophy didn't pop for it.

welp, work finally reblocked cag. laaaaaame asses.

granny levels are bitchin in mutant mudds, short but just perfect in terms of character designed platforming.

I'd really like to get in on this online psn thread shit - ac:b, bioshock 2, lbp, last of us, etc. sounds awesome. trying to figure out how to keep myself awake past 10 or if we just need to have a morning crew. if you're one of the regular early birds pm me as I've lost track.

what's like the cheapest, least obtrusive and functional wireless mic/headset I can get? I literally know nothing about this stuff. wish I would've picked up that silly modern warfare 3 ps3 bt earpiece when it was on target clearance.

I still can't see the praise being heaped upon Wolfenstein. Up to Chapter 5, and while the gameplay feels satisfying enough, the story hasn't grabbed me at all.

I enjoyed the gameplay far more than the story. On the other hand, there are 19 chapters (IIRC), so there's still a chance something may grab you later on.

After you get the plat, I might share a theory with you that my brother created regarding some aspects of the plot, which made the game seem better to me overall.

this made me laugh. you know you're not quite yourself when you're recommending cock-a-doodle-oops to a thread full of assholes.

totally looking for it now though, so thanks.

It takes a while for the blimp to pop in normal play, yeah. It's kind of annoying. If you play sfmt mode it appears pretty much immediately except on the rare occasion when there's a laser ace instead (which gets you a notice of "Hey, I see something weird out there..." or some equivalent.) The laser ace trophy is broken currently so you can't get that even if you kill one.

I'll be glad to discuss. Maybe I'm too early in yet, but at least it feels good.

To think outside of the box and be on the cheap side... if everyone has a laptop or PC near where they play you could always use google hangouts for voice communication. It is free. If it is a laptop with a mic and speaker you wont even need to wear anything and deal with it being uncomfortable.

One of my friends even uses it on his cellphone instead of a computer and it still works fine.

Eh, I know you and velo have kids, and neither of you are assholes. And perhaps some of the assholes may someday have kids, and something like cock-a-doodle-oops may help knock the asshole out of them. Um... that's a little ambiguous, but i'll leave y'all to sort out what i meant. Hint: i wasn't talking about alternate forms of childbirth.

Aren't you the one who admitted they intentionally always find ways to disagree with people? Not trying to give you a hard time here, I just remember you were asking how that felt or something. Maybe topside was hired out by tyler to show you.

Thanks for this. A co worker and I have been playing Borderlands 2. He doesn't have a mic so we have been using text messages.

I was thinking Skype but rather do Google Hangouts I think.

I am down to two side missions. Customer service and one of the arena things I need waves 4 and 5. I also need to kill a cubby enemy, and discover all the named locations (I have 1 of the 5 associated trophies) and terramorphous. The cubby enemy sucks if you don't have the DLC. I can get this in Torgue's Campaign of carnage on one of the side misisons. I farmed the hell out of Caustic Caverns chasing down the shotgun and rocket launcher kills but never saw a Chubby varkid.

I will probably do most of this on my own but might need his help with terramorphous. Either a Bee shield or maybe just help me beat him. Also maybe help in finding some of the areas on the maps I still need.

I want to knock most of this out this weekend if I can. Will be checking out the Destiny Beta on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Top is like the Thread's Official Bouncer. Just for show, but once in a while he'll get into it with that one guy trying to squirm in.

tyler couldn't afford me.

If I disagree with someone I can guarantee that it's real. I'm nothing if I'm not 100% genuine.

Wow, more people are interested in Bioshock 2 than I thought. We should definitely get something together. The level trophies aren't tough, really the only hard one is supposed to be that Mother Goose trophy.

None of them are hard. If a decent number of you have the map packs then I'll boost with you to get the map specific trophies for those but I'm guessing most of you are just using the PS+ version we got awhile back. It's impossible to get in a room where everyone has them.
