Yo do the difficulty trophies in Strider stack? I don't wanna play this a 4th time and I'm already at the boss at about 2 hrs and 30 minutes on my hard playthough.

No problem. Only online trophy left for me is that fucking win without dying one. Hate that little shitter.
I got that one purely by accident the first day I was goofing around with online matches to see what trophies I could get. Based on your post, I appreciate it that much more. :joystick:

Maybe not--PST.org's trophy guide makes it sound like the Hard playthrough will get you that trophy, while you try for the Normal-playthrough trophy and under-4-hours trophy in the second playthrough.

Hey, to commemorate the 6th generation winning in the poll right now, how about a 55-minute speedrun of Metroid Prime?

So far Oddworld is alright, the stealth parts are kinda a pain in the ass. It's pretty much a remake of the first Oddworld which i didn't love te first time through so i dunno. Def not worth $30, should be $15. It is in 1080p/60 fps and it does look nice though.

I think I got the PS3 version of it by accident too because the other team quit or something. Trying to get that shit legitimate like is balls.

How do you acquire all these games?

Why do you dodge this question every time it is asked?

I hope you're all happy now.
I am, actually. That's hilarious.

I actually never played any of the Metroid Prime games, even though I was a Nintendo guy at that point. I have 1 and 3, maybe I'll get to them someday.

I actually have only played one Metroid game, the original. I beat it for the first time using a walkthrough a year or so ago and actually enjoyed it quite a bit. Without the guide I wouldn't have had the patience for the game. That map is really big and a lot of the places look very very VERY similar.

I do have Super Metroid downloaded on my Wii, I got a $5 refund when they made the internet channel free and I spent it on that. I'm saving that game for a special occasion. Like a fine champagne or something, because I know it's going to be awesome.

I don't like this poll. No Jaguar? No Phantom? Cmon.
I don't know what those are. Aren't they cars?

Never understood the appeal, could never get through more than 10 minutes of the PS1 classics version. And $30? HA!

Wrapped up Contrast tonight, ended up getting 18 of the 21 trophies on my first playthrough.  Only missed one collectible, went back and got that as well as the two other missing trophies in a matter of minutes.  Super easy 100%.

Overall I enjoyed the game.  It's really short (probably 3-4 hours) so I wish it had a little bit more content.  The shadow conversion thing is pretty cool, but it took me a while to figure out that I need to stand basically right next to a wall for it to work.  The platforming can be a tad shaky at times, which is really my only complaint about the game.  Oh and the story is really weird.  Still, good game, couple of decent puzzles as well.  And there are references to both Banjo Kazooie and Casablanca, two of the greatest things ever!  Glad I played through it.

I said it before, but it is official now. Super Monkey Ball Banana Splitz has officially defeated me. There is no way I have the patience to get through advanced mode with only 9 continues. I can't even get out of the first world and there are five.

That game kinda sucks Corg.  I only got through Advanced World 2.

Some of the minigames were OK but I think I only played it for 1-2 days after I bought it then turned around to resell it to make sure I could get my money back.

Ha, see. Again.

Your silence seems shady. Bottom line I'm jealous. Seems a good gig. Shit, make something up if you don't want to tell the truth. You sell your peen for green. Your dad owns a large company and you live the life of Billy Madison.
Funny u should ask, I do sell my peen for green every day!

Why? You had to manually insert info instead of scan the UPC? People can clearly see if the game comes with case and whatnot, in store for sure, unless they are blind as fuck. Online is different, but if you buy used it's a risk you have to assume.
They also have to put the cases together and that can be a real pain in the ass if you have a lot of them and you can't print out the inserts like my old store. You end up having to write them out by hand.

Anyone have recommendations for a middle of the road laptop in the $500 range?

The former has a larger HDD and runs a quad-core CPU instead of a dual-core like the latter, but the latter has larger and higher resolution screen. I'd probably recommend it for that reason if the size of the laptop isn't an issue, since HDDs can always be upgraded later on and functionally you likely wouldn't notice a difference between the dual and quad core in every day tasks.

So the company I just started working for 2 weeks ago sent me a copy of the schedule up through August. But rather than just including next week until then, it covers from the beginning of the year until now. And includes every employee in our district.

I can understand this being kept for records, but this should not be what is sent out to everyone on a monthly basis.

Then again, the same company just finally granted me access to record my timesheet, even though I've worked for 2 weeks.

Nope. It comes with all currently available DLC, but they've already announced more map packs coming after release.
Which just defeats the purpose of a Season Pass. I hate bullshit like that. I loved TLOU's mp, but Naughty Dog pulling a Gearbox with the Season Pass is just wrong. :twoguns:

I'm curious how much game "fillers" like these we're going to keep getting.

Sounds like that's making a stalkers job easier somewhere

That poll was a pretty tough decision.  Every generation has had games that I love so in that respect it was hard to pick a clear winner.  I ended up choosing 7th because of the online play.

And I just had my vote reaffirmed in my mind when my PS3 froze this morning and corrupted my LBP Karting save.  A restart and one copied cloud save later and I'm back up and running.  7th generation fucking rules.

I was going to start Hyperdimension Neptunia tomorrow, but it think I'll spend the day working on Velocity Ultra level 50 just so I can tell Tyler to shut his ugly Mormon face.
Which Neptunia title were you considering? You know that a highly-enhanced, updated, far superior version of the first is coming to Vita next month, right?
