It all started because I was playing the destiny beta and then the servers went down pretty soon after lunch (so does that mean the final game SP is going to be a coaster if your internet, PSN, or the Desinty servers are down?) So I switched over to the game at the top of my recent purchases in downloads and started playing it. By halfway in it was losing its luster, but I took a look at the trophy list and it was all pretty easy so I decided to power through the rest of it for a speed time.

As repetitive as the game is I can't believe they had the gall to put half the personality quizzes and a 1/3rd of the planets behind a DLC pay wall.

I like films with ambiguous endings that are open to interpretation. Most people hate them since they want a happy ending. The last film I really enjoyed like that was Take Shelter with Michael Shannon and Jessica Chastain. That had a really great ending.

This isn't as ambiguous, but I can still debate about the ending to The Mist. That was a crazy ending that I feel has room for interpretation on a certain element. Don't wanna get into spoilers if you haven't seen it.

The PS4 costs $450 up there anyway cuz the Canadian dollar has gotten so much weaker recently. So basically TLoU is a free pack-in for them.

Don't buy Enemy Front. I thought I would get it for 17 and flip back for 15 after some trophies. It is horrible. so bad. like Quantum Theory bad. I blame lack of sleep.

Still on the fence about Lego Marvel Vita since it cost almost as much as those other 3 combined.  It sounds like they've changed some of the mechanics though, which honestly sounds nice since Lego games have started to get a little tiring to me.

 
So I've been rocking out the B1G1 3DS games I picked up last week and holy fuck the battery life is a nightmare. I knew it was shitty but it never bothered me until I picked up a Vita and gained new perspective. Wtf did they do wrong on this thing? I dont even use the 3D.

In spite of that annoyance, Kirby Triple D is fantastic. Just plain good fun. Also cant wait to dive into Bravely Default, though I'm probably going to wait a week or so since TLOU will be claiming my time.

I really enjoyed it. No massive hub world nonsense like the home console versions and the challenges in each level are fun.

Who cares if it is a 3DS port if it is fun. It seems like nobody else but Stellar Inertia has played any of the Vita Lego games, and we both like them. Zimm, hurry up and play that LOTR one you bought please.

I also kinda like that the Vita versions are the 3DS alt game and not just a port of the main game.  For Vita-only owners I could see it being frustrating, but since I also have a PS3 and PS4 I have the ability to get both versions of the game.

I'm almost done. Just five more trophies until the plat. Just a few collectables left. May even get it done tonight. I've enjoyed it. Like you said, the reduced HUBs and less collectables is refreshing.

Man you have to *really* like Lego games to double dip on them. If I am going to play one, it's going to be once. I could see myself playing it on a portable more than a console, but it's disappointing seeing how gimped it is.

I played through the Lego LOTR on Vita and was shocked when obvious pieces of the story were missing and levels that would have been cool were scaled back. I didn't have the console one to compare to, so even by itself, it was just a little disappointing.

I'll admit, they're not terrible, but they're not great either. When I went online to compare it to the console version, I was letdown to see it didn't even compare. Just lazy shit, but whatever, guess I can't really blame them either since the username still isn't there.
 
Still sitting here undecided on whether or not to pick up Injustice or Lego Marvel for PS4. Actually started playing some of that free Injustice on the 360 and it's fun but as much as I want to retire that 360 I don't see myself double (or is it single?) dipping. Even if the Ultimate edition does have Zatanna.

Lego Marvel I'd probably be all over if it was a couple bucks cheaper or if I had a second controller already.

especially vexing is that the ds lite and even the dsi/dsi xl are some sort of miracle of modern battery usage. I think mine gets 10-12+ hours of usage before the warning light turns on.
 
we had a slip and slide party at this chix house once

not the same thing but oil was all over the fucking place it was a mess

we ended up staying the night in the vip room ;) i.e. the chix bedroom :)

my grrl and her were gfs for a few months, good times

the chic on the left. this is only pic that survived, lol, rest the lens was too fuckn blurry oily. we had to pitch that camera, haha.

that was forever ago

some dude even got pissed cuz grrlgrrl action and he was like wtf.

its like whoa dude chill out and enjoy. dude be trippn in the wrong way.

we had trashbags taped to the floors of the kitchen and everyone in swimming suits and baby oil. lol

also found out paint rave party next month. we are totally down.

Oh, that one from the movie. Yeah, it's borderline but over here in the basement I don't think it matters. Definitely wouldn't get away with it in the deals section.

Only one I've seen posted in here was Archie Bunker so that's why I went there. It's good to know that you haven't gotten that bad. High five.

I already played the PS4 version and liked it a lot. Now I am back to maybe grabbing this.

 
yeah, i'm debating lego marvel for vita as well. kind of like the idea that it'd be shrunk down a bit from the console version. usually takes something special in a lego game to grab me though. last one i played was the star wars clone wars, cause it had that mini rts side game to play.

gonna get blackgate vita for sure, and dump my cart copy tomorrow. meant to do it today, but i forgot. gonna try to snag another coupon or two if i can tonight too. 50% off psn credit sounds nice.

i find it funny how the old thread complained about all the off topic stuff drowning out the deals talk, but i don't really see much mention of the sale games. looked there for any marvel lego chatter.

So when selling regular games in a standard game case, how do you guys handle shipping? Best packaging/shipping option is basically what I'm looking for, and how you price that part of it.
