Dell has a 24" Vizio that I could potentially get for $120 buy buying 6 copies of Gran Turismo and using the $20 gift card promo, and then sell the games to get even more back. That sounds like alot of work, though.

It does, plus you'd have to wait 1-2 weeks to get the e-GCs in your email (that's roughly how long I had to wait to receive a $200 e-GC for buying a TV through Dell.com).

We have a 24" Vizio TV upstairs and it is a piece of crap. Remote hasn't worked at all for several months now and before that it was incredibly finicky. Yes, of course I have tried changing the batteries. Duh. The picture quality is only fair too. Who knows, though - maybe I just got a lemon.

Actually both myself and my in laws have Vizios, and the TV's themselves are great and last long, but both of us have remote and button problems as well.

Moved some of the messages from the top-right of the screen to the top-left for whatever reason. Also added a Featured Content feature that you can able (or may have to disable) that will auto-download free demos and stuff for you. PS3 had a similar feature, it's really useless.

Not really my thing because the puzzles are in 3D.  My brain just cannot comprehend 3D puzzles all that well.  There was a dumb mobile game called Turn N Run that drove me crazy for the same reason.

Depending on how many games they have in their "Vault" at any one time, I think it has potential.

As a casual sports games fan, I wouldn't mind messing around with Madden 25 and FIFA 14 for a month for $5. I don't need the latest and greatest iterations of the games. Just play a few games, grab some trophies, and move on. Also Peggle 2 and Battlefield 4 single player can EASILY be beaten in a month, rendering those games basically $5 as well.

Not to mention if you have an impromptu house party and want to play some Madden or FIFA, it would only cost you $5 to get that going.

I'm definitely jealous it's Xbone only right now.

Idiot commentors on IGN were expecting Day 1 releases on the EA Access pass.  There's no fuck ing way.  I mean, right in the article EA calls it the "vault" of games.  Day 1 games don't go in the vault.

I'm sure there will be day 1 games. On day 1 of Madden 2016, Madden 2015 will be added to the service.

ETA: And those were not the dumbest comments. There are people already wanting to claim it is the MS answer to PS Plus. LMAO

This is such bullshit. What makes EU so special that they get all these collections crossbuy and we only got GoW? That's now R&C, Sly, and Jak. 9 games, about $90 worth of content that EU gets crossbuy that we don't.

I wish there was more outrage about this. I just don't understand why EU gets them all crossbuy and we don't.

 
Broke down and bought Lego Marvel at the last second when I saw someone mention using the Vita as a second controller. Will probably be a bit wonky but at least I'll be able to co-op.

Yeah, might be due to them getting hit hard with exchange rates and VAT.

Something like Abyss Odyssey is $20 in the UK and EU, a 33% increase. Don't know about R&C but it's not all about month long vacations for them.

Could be worse.

Could be Brazil.

Not only are games more expensive over there I would imagine the Europeans buy less games, so they need more enticing to become regular customers. So they get more freebies and what not. Would you rather live in bankrupt Greece?

 
I've never played Ratchet & Clank (except a little of that tower defense one we got for free), so I might get the Vita collection. But it will wait. I've been spending too much money. Might even cancel my Destiny pre-order. Not sure about that, though.

 
Actually, I just looked and they want $30 for the R&C Collection. Europe would pay about $33.

So yeah, we're getting a bit hosed on that end.

I'd say it's also a case where cross-buy would most likely do more to boost total sales then separating the two ever could so it's just foolishness on Sony's part.
