Broke down and bought Lego Marvel at the last second when I saw someone mention using the Vita as a second controller. Will probably be a bit wonky but at least I'll be able to co-op.
It is not wonky at all, in fact it is probably the best game to do this with. I did co-op with my wife and I used the Vita, the controls are so simple that it is super easy to use since you really just use the analog and face buttons, no need for the touch screen or back...

I'm pissed about cross-buy as well. Probably because I already own Sly and Ratchet collections on PS3. I know I'd get to these sooner on Vita. What Sony doesn't want me to finish their games and tell the world how awesome they are giving them a kajillion new customers? I would even tweet it. Seriously though it does suck donkey nuts especially since they are giving it to Europe.

I mean wonky in the sense that it might involve some profile juggling unless there's an easier way. Figured Vita signs in as the main account and controller gets reassigned as either a guest or second account.

Enemy Front was horrible. I am quitting this game and trading it back in for what I paid. I couldn't even get through 1/2 the game before I decided to go back to bioshock 2 and start Minerva's Den.

I still need to start y's celceta. I have had it from gamefly for over a week and havnt started it. trophy head hour later or im sending it back.

also just talked to des/pink chic. Her phone was dead yesterday and i said phew and she said totally down to chill again, so that's good news. peace bros

Nope, I don't know if I had to do anything, simply turned on the vita and went into remote play, then turned on the controller as number two... might have been why, I did make a profile for my wife to do it, but all progress and trophies went on the main profile/vita

Thanks, that's good news. Sounds easier than other people made it out to be.

Back to back posts where one mentions the wife and the next is requesting pics from Velo made me laugh more than it probably should have.

I swear some people are idiots and don't pay attention...  This new EA subsripction as exsisted in the past... they are just adding old games to it!

http://www.easports.com/seasonticket

I keep trying to explain to people that they have already done this and it is not that hard to understand if they had known about this.  They are simply charging $10 more a year to allow access to older titles all year round.  I got the season pass the last two years and loved being able to sample to full games EA released 5 days before release!  It was a fun rental system that worked great!

I always feel like you're yelling at me.

nice to know a five hour threesome is "chill" for you. I'd be dead.

Thank God for the Color Run, wife is doing it Saturday with the mother-in-law... i get time by myself with the Last of Us!!!  You'll have to give some impressions Pete

Thank you Sony. Unless Lego the movie the game gamemovie (wtf) is stupid cheap, or Bellator is that new .99 special, nothing for me to waste money on this week.

We have a 24" Vizio TV upstairs and it is a piece of crap. Remote hasn't worked at all for several months now and before that it was incredibly finicky. Yes, of course I have tried changing the batteries. Duh. The picture quality is only fair too. Who knows, though - maybe I just got a lemon.
Actually both myself and my in laws have Vizios, and the TV's themselves are great and last long, but both of us have remote and button problems as well.
Also the proud owner of a Vizio. Had it for almost a year now and it's great. The remote is pretty bad though; it has to be pointed directly at the bottom left corner for it to register. Once you get used to how to angle it though it's not a big deal.

WOW... that is the only way mine works... must be a defect, same with the in-laws. Good news is all i use the remote is to turn the TV on. Have a surround sound that does volume and then the cable remote. The T.V itself is great though and they last a long time.

No, our remote started needing to be inches away from the TV and now it doesn't even work if it is right in front of the sensor. Buttons on the TV itself are not well marked and I'm always hitting the wrong one as a result. Shitty TV. Would not buy again.

Have you tried using another remote with it? It could be the remote itself, which would make you saying the TV is terrible kind of absurd.

Is don't have another remote to try.

It's better than having to replace the motherboard or screen... In-laws had a Samsung, one year in the screen crapped out, had a Vizio for three years now, besides the remote issue, nothing else. Didn't remotes not exsist at one time and people had to get up to change the channel? The horror!!  :oldman: :spam:

Our Samsung has always worked like a champ years on. I wish it would die so I could justify buying a bigger and 1080p TV. Offhand not sure how many years old but certainly more than 3. Probably quite a bit more. I will have to try to look it up.

I have a huge 57 inch projection style HDTV from Hitachi I bought in 2006 that just wont die either. But I already made up my mind I will buy a new big screen and trash this thing next year when I get my bonus.

Found it! Samsung was ordered on 11/24/08. So going on 6 years old. That thing has got to be on the verge of dying, right? Ordered it from ebay. Totally forgot about that. datavis_sales

I was looking at some of the early special pricing games.  That Pure Pool game is only $9.09 for Plus at launch and it has a full trophy list with a plat.  I am a bit surprised by that.

So just got The Last of Us from GameStop.

Traded in ps3 copy. I tried to use the 5 dollar coupon. The guy wanted it to work, he rang it up, and for some reason it wouldn't work due to multiple promotions.

Then there was a 3 dollar refurb fee. I asked what was that for. He said because you don't have the case.

I said I've never heard of there being a penalty for not bringing in the case and he said that was just what he was trained to do.

I was on my lunch break and really did not want to go to any other GameStop to attempt this or have it rejected at a different location. So I just bucked up and ate the difference. It didn't taste good, but really, I can't be bothered. My cheapass self could, but my lazyass, self rationalizing self saying "you make 10 times that in an hour, what do you care" won this round.

I really hate when GS employees do that. You should have responded with "Then are you going to sell the game for less since it doesn't have a case and you're penalizing me for it?" or "Why are you deducting $3 when you probably have 10+ spare PS3 game cases lying around?"

"Refurbishing" doesn't correspond to supplying a disc-only game with a case when the disc itself has no damage. :headache:

Or go in and ask for a case.... then give it back to them with the game? =P~

Most gamestops seem to be flooded with generic case copies of games that don't sell. So it does seem like ones without a case take longer to sell and thus are worth less to them. Seems like they should start discounting ones with generic cases to get them off the shelfs, but what do I know. I am not a businessmang.

I'm probably not going to get much gaming in tonight seeing how I'm going to the baseball game. So Rogue Legacy waits until tomorrow. Though I'm sure I'll fit in a few rounds on Vita before sleepy time. Just a few. Right?

Also won't be picking up The Last of Us today. Will grab it tomorrow.

I went to Gamestop, did the Last Of Us upgrade, then returned it and bought the digital version on the spot. Clerks were cool considering he called his DM to ask about the digital version not working (DM said not on digital) and then did the return anyway. The $5 coupon didn't work due to multiple promotions. I forgot it works on PSN cards, might have to grab one before it expires on the 3rd. Minus my $20 scratch off win it cost me $5.78 out of pocket (got $25.90 for the trade-in with Pro Rewards). Not too shabby.

The guy was young (early 20's) and really nice. Not confrontational in the least. I usually extend back whatever attitude (good or bad) is being offered to me. So really it just came down to whether or not I wanted to go elsewhere.

He was really excited to go home and play the game himself, as he has a ps4 but never had a ps3. I would have chatted him up asking why ps4 and not xbone, but I had to go and he had other customers to attend to.

Edit: plus once you walk through those doors you just generally assume that you are going to get screwed over in some fashion. One way or another. Its just difficult to leave the building completely unscathed, even if you didn't buy anything.

Take the Vita to the baseball game.

I mean....it's baseball. You're telling me you can't find a few minutes of playing time during all those hours of boring?

Its always about the attitude you get. If the clerk acts high and mighty I have no problem with a customer returning the same attitude. But if the clerk just acts apologetic and says they are doing what they are told, I dont see any reason to give them shit. You made the right call. $3 isnt worth it.

I canceled my Destiny pre-order. I'm spending too much money and $50.xx is a lot of dough, even with a $10 rewards cert. I suppose I might change my mind again, though. We shall see.

No, I don't find baseball boring. No Vita will be taken to the game. Aside from that, I'm going with family and in particular to celebrate a nephews birthday. Sitting there staring at my Vita screen is the kind of social move I'd expect from a slidecage, not something I'd do.

Does anyone know of a way to import your uploaded music from one service to another.

I have 20,000 songs (the limit) with Google Play, but I'd like to move those over to Amazon Music.

Amazon has a 250,000 song limit, but at $20 a year.

How do I move one library from another w/o uploading the whole thing? (I really don't want to go through the process of ripping all my physical cds again)

Jesus Christ, purge your hoard! No way you have a clue what half of those songs are.

Have you thought about a spotify sub instead? I realize it's not your mp3s but is only $10 a month and requires less work on your part.
