Shock Top is owned by Coors, but let them imagine it's good beer. They live in a happy place.
Go eat your doo dads. When we're all a senior citizen and can retire and spend our SS money on frivolous things, then we can spend way too much money on "good" beer. Until then, I'll buy what gets the job done and doesn't taste like ass.

I've been into Yuengling Black & Tan lately. I'll try any beer once but if it tastes like Blue Moon I won't have it again.

Alright....

Furniture delivered?  Check.

Wife packed up and out the door?  Check.

Kids packed up and ready for a night at Grandma's?  Check.

Full night of sleep?  Check.

TLoU disc ready to go in the PS4?  Motherfuckin' check.

Night off from work?  fuck

I don't drink tons of beer. I drink one a night, usually, with dinner. Typically two a night on pinball nights. Pinball and good beer are a perfect match and fortunately the place I play has great beer on tap and pretty cheap too ($3.50).

Well, I had enough with Comcast, dropped cable and signed up for just internet through my wife... what was really sad was i did it through chat posing as her and they tried to nickel and dime me the whole time.  When I said I just wanted internet, they said ok, and would you like self install or a professional.  I said self install and they said fine, then when I picked to get  modem through them I asked for their Wireless enabled modems, and he then said i had to pay 50 to get it installed because they have to put new cable lines in the house!!  What?!?!

Got them to cancel that and just send the wireless modem... way too hard!  Direct TV here I come :)  Finally a good DVR that won't fill up after two games are recorded...

I just wish Google would expand their fiber more rapidly!!!!  I can't wait to be able to get Google Fiber, one day.

The beer I like you'll probably think is sucky.

I looooove my BBC Strawberry Blonde. Doesn't taste like strawberries, but it's smooth and tastes pretty good.
Its a microbrew aint it?

You're good.

I think TJ is still upset about my comment on his budweiser and how he must be a wife beater.

You must have not had X1.

If I have I dont remember the name. I stick to Denver-Mooresville area mostly, being closer to home. I think we usually go to Bad Dog or something? I'm horrible with names, and theres a ton of bars up there.
Duckworth's or bust in Charlotte!

Have either of you seen the man lately? He (and his Chicken) is a joke. It looks like something scared him to death and they are keeping him alive by some artificial means.
He is the male poster child for bad plastic surgery.

So I've got to know. Is there a bowling alley with a bar and good beer on tap? Anywhere? If not, how has this not happened yet?
There are unfortunately not that many, but most apparently serve stuff that most of the posters in this thread like to drink.

They have Stella on tap, which is one of my favorites (hipster, right?) and their food is really good.
When you mentioned Heavy Seas, I thought there was hope for you. Stella? Really? The Belgian Budweiser...

Oh ok so you're specifically emphasizing the "good beer" part?

Because every bowling alley I've ever been to has beer.

And both Blue Moon and Shock Top are good.
Blue Moon is serviceable. Shock Top is pretty much garbage.

Beer snob, confirmed.
Do you only like to eat at McDonald's or do you think there are better restaurants? Bud, Miller, and Coors are essentially the same as McDonald's, Wendy's, and Burger King when it comes to beer. Forgive those of us that what something more interesting.

"All you have have is Blue Moon, Guinness, and Killians?!?! Psh, I'll just have water, thanks."
I would do this, but it would mainly be so I could save the empty calories for a beer I would enjoy more than any of those.

Shock Top is owned by Coors, but let them imagine it's good beer. They live in a happy place. Or was it Blue Moon? They are both pretty weak, but go on, people.
Shock Top = InBev (aka Budweiser), Blue Moon = subdivision of Coors.

Unless its a microbrew, it sucks.
Let's not go completely off the deep end here. I prefer craft beer. To say it has to be micro-brew would mean you even turn your nose up at all of Sam Adam's line of beers. I would imagine others like Sierra Nevada also would not fall under the micro-brew label.

You drink IPAs dont you? You, jkam and killwhateverhisnameis
I do, I love them. It is only one of the styles I like, but likely my favorite (well actually that would be a Double IPA).

Says the guy who asked me for suggestions for good beer in Charlotte, lol.

IPA are actually my least favorite type of beer.

Kolsch, nut brown ale, pilsner, stouts are mostly what I gravitate toward.
You do realize Kolsch and Pilsner are the 2 styles that are most closely aligned with the macro brew beers that are so dominant here. While there are definitely better ones out there, that response surprises me a bit.

Haha, I am not even remotely a hipster, beer snob and bourbon snob (im from KY so that part is a given), but defintely not a hipster.
Geez, the worst kind of hipster too. I bet you wrap your scarf around your neck beard, perfectly position your giant plastic glasses and adjust your fedora while yelling from a rooftop that you're not a hipster. Go back to Frisky's PSN thread with the other retards.

Back to games, think I'm going to start Castlevania Mirror of Fate on the 3DS as my next handheld game. I'm thinking I need to finish the few games I have on the 3DS so I can sell it. I got this, the new Zelda, Shinobi, and Code Of Princess left. Shinobi is a pretty good old school 2D game but insanely hard. I do want to get Shovel Knight though too, ugh hurry up and release on Vita!

I don't consider myself a beer snob, because there are very few beers I won't drink if available. However, two beers that I simply can not finish are Stella and Corona. Right now my favorite beer is Ommegang Hennepin.

Ugh, football. Definitely the most overrated sport. People never shut the fuck up about it. I mean it's still more than a month away from pre-season.
Cause we all adored the soccer commentary.

My cheesehead goggles say Rodgers is the best QB. As much as I hate it, I still can't believe the year Manning had in his old age. If he can continue that he is definitely some kind of football machine built by Archie to enhance his sub par career.
I enjoy the first and third preseason games. The first just to see my team back out on the field and the third they treat like an actual game to get the starters ready for the season. I can't wait for the actual season to start doe.

As far as fantasy goes, I can't set it up on my phone so I'll hopefully be able to sit down on Sunday and het it set up. ILL PM everybody the password to get into it when its ready. I'm sure Tyler will enjoy all the fantasy talk if we don't get pushed out of his thread.

Hey now, just because it is mass produced, does not mean it is like Budweiser. My favorite beer is Brewer's Art Resurrection.
I did not say it is like Budweiser. I called it the Belgian Budweiser. The most mass produced Belgian beer made. There are sooooo many better examples of a Belgian Blonde, IMO.

I've been into Yuengling Black & Tan lately. I'll try any beer once but if it tastes like Blue Moon I won't have it again.
Yuengling is probably the best of the mainstream, buy it just about anywhere beers. Any place that doesn't have that is probably not worth going.

It's still not that good, but it's at least drinkable unlike the Bud variants and such.

I started playing breakquest and lost all my balls. The only way to continue is to buy more from the store...what a crock of shit

Also started Lone survivor on the vita. It'd be creepy if it wasn't in 8 bit graphics, but its seems like an ok and kind of tough game so far. Ammo is very scarce so far unless I keep taking blue pills and going to sleep.

If you are going to try and talk about games please stop talking about Nintendo games. fuck nintendo in the ear.

Sure, should have qualified that it is an easy to find beer around me. I also really like New Belgium's spring blonde and have enjoyed Heavy Seas cutlass lager lately. I drink a lot of different beers, just not a fan of really hoppy beers.

I'm starting to wonder if micbelt will turn out to live 5 minutes from me. I'm getting a little scared.
I live near Towson in Rodger's Forge now, grew up in the city in Canton and lived in Mt. Vernon for a long time. Moved out of the city when I got married and had kids.
