Ouch! So sorry for the misery my team inflicted. Met a lot of Saints fans that flew in for both games. They were a lot of fun to drink with before the games. Course before the games they had a lot of hope still.

Oh, and they also said it wasn't as loud as the Superdome. Ahhhh, OK. Both Breezy and Payton say otherwise.

I was hyped for it when it was announced, being the huge Sacred fan I am, but its a let down. Its only Sacred in name. They dumbed down all the shit that made the series what it was and gave it its edge over Diablo, and also turned its open world into a completely linear affair. The interviews with the devs keep having the word arcade thrown around and arcade experience. Its basically a Gauntlet game now with those walls that appear and lock you into areas until all enemies are defeated. There's nothing wrong with Gauntlet but when I'm buying Sacred that's not what the fuck I want.

That being said, I'm likely buying it anyway. fuck me.

Ya I wasn't very happy, but it's okay hopefully we'll learn.

I haven't been to a saints game yet, hopefully I will before I'm too old to enjoy.

And anybody can be fun to drink with as long as you give them the right drink :D

Unless they're like me and depending on the type of alcohol you give them have different personalities :whistle2:*

this. except i'm not gonna buy it. i'll probably play it later, cause i do like gauntlet. too disappointed about this not being a sacred sacred.

One and two cover the original case and it is a bit too stretched out but will probably be improved by the fact that you can watch it all at once instead of having to wait 14 months. Too many people gave the show shit because it had a similar premise to Twin Peaks and they weren't able to look past that. 3 is one new case to completion and is the show's best season. I am very much looking forward to the abbreviated final season.

I made it about 5 levels in. Not really digging it. Feels like a game where you have to play it over and over and over to get even decently good at it. Not really in the mood for a game like that, especially when the gameplay doesn't "hook" me at all.

Now it's time for some Explodemon.

Hey fucker, I was right in the middle of an intense online battle where I have to keep my wits about me, not out in the middle of a grassy meadow picking fucking flowers and collecting twigs to see how long I can keep myself from dying of natural causes.

I did (through a Gamestop rental), and while it wasn't bad, I echo Yanksfan's post (though I enjoyed the gameplay a bit more than he did):

I'm always surprised when people say Velocity Ultra is tough. No offense meant, but I found it pretty easy and I'm terrible at most games. I think the mini-game trophies in the game harder than perfecting the levels. PSNP says I did it in 2 days, 6 hours

None taken. The speed runs were what I struggled on. Tell me, do you have grips for your vita? I don't, but I think if I did, it would have made those speed runs a LOT easier.
