well that sounds frightfully boring. No Batman. Takes place while Bruce Wayne was a child. Tells the story of Commissioner Gordon.

Right, except I wanted it on Vita, which they don't carry. At least I can get the trophies + plat again on PS3 when I get the urge since the trophy lists aren't shared.i guess it saves you money, since you wanted xblade code embryo from bestbuy. lol
Uh...I don't think so?do you live in one of those Bible Belt?
I don't think so... cop drama with younger batman villains... All the norms will be there, albeit with some f them being kid versions. Cat Woman, Poison Ivy, The Penguin, and even the joker. So far early previews have brought some decent reviews for it.well that sounds frightfully boring.
Looks like the new title for AC is indicative of it literally being a Rogue-like game. Premise of the new over-story is that the Animus is glitched and can't save progress. You start the game, run through it, then if you die you start over. Some other Rogue elements as well. Neat concept to throw into the series at this point, IMO.

How do you define "pretty well?" I'm confused. Also, how can Marvel kill with it's movies, and yet DC can't... But DC can do pretty well with TV shows? Smallville, Arrow, soon to be flash and Gotham?
I know Marvel will put there hand in the ring with its shows on Netflix, but it doesn't make sense to me. (other than batman of course)
All of DC's characters and story lines (with the exception of Batman) are boring and do not work well for movies. However, there is enough to keep the average television watcher interested. Also, how can Marvel kill with it's movies, and yet DC can't... But DC can do pretty well with TV shows? Ho. Ly. Crap. That looks amazing (and hopefully PS+-worthy).http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/08/05/velocity-2x-launches-on-ps4-ps-vita-september-2nd/#sf4011424
Velocity 2x out 9/2. Looks good. Cross-save/cross-buy for Vita/PS4.
Everything Batman > Everything Marvel. (maybe sparing Wolverine)yeah, not to turn this in to a comic book quality debate because I certainly don't feel strongly one way or the other, but everything DC is total flaming crap and all things Marvel are a billion times better than everything else ever.
I don't read comics, but Batman is my favorite comic book character by far. Of course everyone knows how much I like Arrow, so I guess you could say I'm a fan of Green Arrow as well. The only "mainstream" comic book character I really dislike is Superman.yeah, not to turn this in to a comic book quality debate because I certainly don't feel strongly one way or the other, but everything DC is total flaming crap and all things Marvel are a billion times better than everything else ever.
Batman is the exception to the rule. The rest of the DC Universe just seems too squeaky clean if I was forced to use a term to describe it.I know nothing about comics, but Batman is DC isnt it? Batman isnt better than anything Marvel does? How can that be?
IM BATMAN! is like the coolest line evar!
I hate you.Batman is boring. ...
At least, every single Batman movie character has been boring. Except the Lego Movie Batman. He was pretty cool.
Glad to see some people don't completely write off DC for Marvel. I love Marvel movies and all, but DC have some very interesting stories to tell, they just have to figure out how to properly do it.Everything Batman > Everything Marvel. (maybe sparing Wolverine)
I wish DC would do a movie for each major member of the Justice League and then do a movie, like how Marvel did Avengers. I would prefer that over whatever this Batman V Superman crap is.Other than the Dark Knight trilogy, Marvel is miles ahead of DC. The fact that DC just won't buckle down and get all their movies/shows in the same universe after seeing what Marvel's done is absolutely retarded.
If you bring Vertigo into the picture DC does look better, I will give you that. However, the fact that DC needed the Vertigo label because they were a bunch of pussies afraid of pushing the envelope of the Comics Code Authority kind of helps prove my point about how watered down their characters were to begin with.I think from a comic standpoint I am a DC fan all the way. I have a huge collection of DC and Vertigo stuff. Marvel, not so much. I just don't care about any of Marvel's big players (except Spider-Man). The only Marvel movies I've liked were the Spider-Man (Except 3, blech) and Guardians of the Galaxy. But I don't think any of them were as good as the Batman trilogy
Edit: So I guess I am a DC comic fan, but kind of a Marvel movie fan? Hard to say. My judgement of the Marvel movies is iffy because it depends on the characters I don't like so much.
Yeah, especially right now I don't really feel like either of the big 2 have that much interesting going on. I'm behind on everything, but Scott Snyder's Batman is about the only thing off the top of my head.If you bring Vertigo into the picture DC does look better, I will give you that. Batman was the only main DC book willing to go into darker story lines.
Vag, what are all the trophies for defeat the brothers, the son, the chemical? Feel free to explain in spoilers.
The success of the Tim Burton Batman movies pretty much directly led to the string of animated hits: Batman the Animated Series, Superman the Animated Series, Batman Beyond, Justice League, and then the string of direct-to-DVD, quality movies starting in 2007 and still going today. This ensured that not only how to tell good DC stories in short form, but all these characters were in the public consciousness of children and young adults who weren't even necessarily comic book fans. Kids who grew up at those animated series and DVD movies still watch them and the live action TV series as teenagers and adults. Also, how can Marvel kill with it's movies, and yet DC can't... And you take issue with my food preferences, ha!I love milk and drink it a lot. But I eat cereal plain almost exclusively. And I never eat it for breakfast. Its usually a late night snack.
Speaking of Batman, do you like Batman Beyond, or you just like the gif that's in your sig?And you take issue with my food preferences, ha!
I can't really pinpoint why I dislike Superman so much, but I do. Maybe it's the obnoxious suit he wears.Well, you could say Marvel is raking the money thanks to Iron Man...nay, Robert Downey Jr. I could care less for the rest (Thor? I'll bash the head of somebody defending the lead and story. Only good thing in it? Idris Elba. Captain America? You mean Chris Evans, aka Human Torch? Yeah, remember FF?)
I'd take The Nolan Bat trilogy over any Marvel movie with the possible exception of Iron Man. Yet, Downey is in the same boat as Hugh Jackman, since they play their characters so well even with a crappy script. Hell, Henry Cavill acts better than Hemsworth or Evans, and Superman is not on my list of favorites.

My son and I have been watching it on Netflix. It's pretty entertaining.Both. I like Beyond better than the original.
I haven't delved deeply into the lore of DC, but doesn't Marvel have a ton of characters based on all mythologies that exist? (Ahem, Thor being their most popular) So original.I can't really pinpoint why I dislike Superman so much, but I do. Maybe it's the obnoxious suit he wears.
Bringing up the Fantastic Four movies as part of this is just about as useless as bringing up the Spider-Man movies. Those 2 franchises movie rights are unfortunately are not controlled by Marvel and were not made by them.Well, you could say Marvel is raking the money thanks to Iron Man...nay, Robert Downey Jr. I could care less for the rest (Thor? I think The Winter Soldier is the best Marvel movie thus far (that may change after I see Guardians of the Galaxy tomorrow), and that was directed by two brothers whose backgrounds included You, Me, and Dupree and several episodes of Community.Well, you could say Marvel is raking the money thanks to Iron Man...nay, Robert Downey Jr. I could care less for the rest (Thor? I disliked Winter Soldier. Found it to be worse than The First Avenger (Dat Hugo Weaving). Action sequences were great though.I think The Winter Soldier is the best Marvel movie thus far (that may change after I see Guardians of the Galaxy tomorrow), and that was directed by two brothers whose backgrounds included You, Me, and Dupree and several episodes of Community.
Fair enough. My brother and I enjoyed it much more than The First Avenger.I disliked Winter Soldier. Found it to be worse than The First Avenger (Dat Hugo Weaving). Action sequences were great though.
You forget the Marvel hivemind directs the movies. That is why Edgard Wright left and was even supported by some inside.I think The Winter Soldier is the best Marvel movie thus far (that may change after I see Guardians of the Galaxy tomorrow), and that was directed by two brothers whose backgrounds included You, Me, and Dupree and several episodes of Community.
If Marvel can extract such a great film from guys like that, then I anticipate how Ant-Man will look with director Peyton Reed, known for classics like Yes Man and Bring It On.
You're the first person I've seen say they disliked Winter Soldier. It received pretty much universal praise just as Guardians seems to be.I disliked Winter Soldier. Found it to be worse than The First Avenger (Dat Hugo Weaving). Action sequences were great though.
Found the one in the castle. HolyRemix bosses. After you beat a boss, you will get an Obol item related to it when you pray at a statue. When you die at any point after getting that item, Charon will take it when you reenter the castle and you can fight a tougher version of that boss if you revisit its door. The good thing is that you don't actually fight these Remix bosses as your character but as varying pre-defined ones, so if you die, you can immediately try again without suffering any consequences. The potentially bad thing is that you have to learn how to use that "new" character's unique abilities to beat the boss (pause and hit Square to see the abilities), so any strategy you had before may become moot.
The final boss even has a Remix version, so you'll get his Obol during New Game+. You need to beat all of the Remix bosses to unlock the final class, which is needed for the Katagelasticism trophy (enter the final boss's chamber while using a character of that final class).
Eh. Both CA movies had the same problem; they start well, try to make a play for characterization, then a little ways in they say "I think The Winter Soldier is the best Marvel movie thus far (that may change after I see Guardians of the Galaxy tomorrow), and that was directed by two brothers whose backgrounds included You, Me, and Dupree and several episodes of Community.
You have to move with the rotation. Use the multi-air-jump when jumping over him, and keep spamming your mega-spell-version Sword Wall (Triangle) while hitting him normally to recover enough MP to continue spamming. Otherwise, consult Youtube.Found the one in the castle. Holyis it hard. He just keeps doing the rotating fireballs and I always get hit, no matter what I do.
Hugo. Weaving. We can all pretty much agree that Keanu Reeves didn't carry the Matrix trilogy by himself. I'd say 50% Weaving, 30% Fishbourne, 15% Moss, 5% Reeves. You're the first person I've seen say they disliked Winter Soldier. It received pretty much universal praise just as Guardians seems to be.
