And beat RL first playthrough. Once you beat Alex and learn some serious ninja moves, the regular bosses are a joke in comparison.

And I'm not sure if another trophy glitched on me or what, but I had 9 journal entries read, and decided to go to the boss. There's a journal on the way there and it shows up as number 25. The trophy just says read the last journal entry, but I thought you had to read all 25. Maybe not though.

I will play tlou, gtav, drago's crown, and sacred 3 later if anyone wants to co op. I just played sacred 3 for an hour with my daughter on legendary. We died 5 times on the 3rd level boss, losing 20% everytime. yup, we lost 100% of our gold and only got to keep any gold we got from the boss. This is redonkulous. I am not playing on legendary anymore with her. She was doing great but it must scale or something wonky cuz we do great til the boss and then just get swamped. ill have to play with ya later cainiac. yeah i never have any friend room so i always have to delete a few and iv got no randoms so ya know. I get people from gtav sending me friend requests to be their girl because Im a hot chic in a bikini and I like to get free rides places in that game. lol. peace guys

also yeah i have messages turned off, so unless im taking a break or just checking messages, I will always miss your messages. ya know, cuz it destroys the immersion for me. like the screaming kids don't do that enough, lol.

oh yeah and this sacred 3 game is low quality. it's my fault too, i guess, but so many menus take too long to load or don't say anything at all, so i just end up clicking buttons. I am on the fucking level choice screen and click a side mission and click yes i suppose and it quits my game, goes to the psn store, says there is no dlc available and restarts the game. on restart it finally loads that it is a portal to some dlc that we don't have installed, but so low quality. im just like eh ok.

What are the conditions to co-op in Dragon's Crown? I'm down to co-op whenever I meet said conditions.

Metrico --

pure platformer puzzler boiled down to practical mathematics. platforms, etc, have numbers and percentages attached to them and operate on mechanics you need to discover. for example, a platform may move up only when you jump (and never move down) while another moves left when you move right. add in a few more platforms doing unique things based on your movement, and you need to 'solve' each puzzle by creating a path to the exit. there are lots of variables, so it actually works out really well and feels like a solid puzzler.

that said, it's fairly devoid of personality. each 'world' has a challenge for a trophy (ie, jump less than 15 times, or die less than x times) and there are some obscure collectibles that probably require a guide unless you're dedicated (i've only found 1 by accident and i'm on world 5 of 6.

overall? solid game that just isn't my thing, at all. i am not sure if i'll even beat it.

You poor thing. My condolences go out to you.
you have no idea.

Vig, where the hell are you?

I beat the first four remix bosses, and finished the game. I'm in NG+ and looking for the Traitor's Obol, but none of the shrines are giving it to me. What the fuck am I supposed to do? Just keep hunting for it, or did I screw something up?

Edit: Nevermind, got it.

if anyone had virtua tennis for vita and feels like doing some boredom boosting this week shoot me a pm. the grind for the A rank trophy looks monumental, but maybe there'll be something good on tv.

I really want to play re4, but after a second try, I don't think I can get used to the controls again. Crazy, cause I 1000'd re5 on 360. Remake with new controls plz capcom.

Everyone should give that Blue Estate demo on ps4 a try.   It's essentially a light gun shooter that doesn't need a camera (uses the internal positional tech of the ds4 extremely well).   Very off kilter humor.   Surprisingly good experience, probably even better with a camera but i didn't have any issues aiming w/o one (headshots left and right).   The demo is a full (long) level.  Not sure if i'll buy full price but i'll pick it up first sale.

per Dragon's Crown co op.

They used to have conditions, the ones I posted the other day where you had to beat the 'story' solo and beat all A missions, but they patched it you can go co op from the start. It will ask if you want to skip the story mode and tutorial and go straight into B missions and the real game. It also starts you with a boost of level 15 and thus 15 skill points to spend. The story is kinda non existant, it just forces you to go through all the A paths of the 9 stages and tells you what everyone in the hub lets you do. (pray and revive bones at the church, buy items and fix weapons/items at the item shop, but magic/runes from magic dude, get quests and spend skill points at knights guild and go directly to dungeon/stages through the stables. The gate lets you go online (so do the stables) and lets you do pvp and the final hidden level. If you havnt played at all you might be better off spending an hour or so just to know what your moves do, how to use magic/items (L1), etc. All of the characters play a lil different. If you played Odin Sphere, it is kinda similar to those characters with a spinny attacker, a magic user, support sorceress, etc. They are all great tho (altho iv only played the game with the others, my wizard is really my only main guy) You will need to go to level 99 and beat normal/hard/infernal with the same character, so you will go all the way with one, whereas you only need to beat normal with the other 5.

I could start up a new level 15 character and run with ya, or I could go with my wizard but that wouldn't be much fun for either of us. Tell me who you are gonna be and ill pick someone else ;)

Dragon's Crown is a game where Atlus/Vanillaware really love their fans. They patched in a level cap from 99-255 and added an entire new ultimate difficulty and tower of mirages. If this were borderlands, they would have sold these as $10 dlc pack. They have random generated dungeon with rare loot for all level 99+. No trophies here, but this is where the game really shines. Iv been running with my zombie bp knight bud and we are just crushing it with 2 of us in this Tower of Mirages.

what's your cag name?

Fuuuuuck too many posts, and it's 80% football.

5. After I finish RL, I think I'll play Infamous again to get the plat. I got all the blast shards when I played it way back in the day (one of the games that convinced me to get a PS3) so I just have to play on hard with bad decisions and get some stupid throw x amount of people off the roof trophy.

It's funny. I was the same way. I haven't played Infamous in 6 years. All the talk of shards made me want to kick it around again. Then after playing it a bit, decided to finish off the evil hard run.

Quick, what's the next old as dirt game were all going to start talking about and playing??

I'm a fighter, and I just cleared the Pirate Cove. I believe I'm level 15. Not seeing any options for co-op, but I haven't gained access to the stables yet. The mention of A and B missions are also confusing, which leads me to believe I'm still in the embryonic stages of the game. PSN name is ThroneofSeth

About to run through my final playthrough of this 3 and a half playthrough plat for Knack. Not gonna lie, this game was boring as shit after the first one, but I don't have a lot of games like this where I can just put the game on mute, skip all the cutscenes, load up soundcloud and focus 95% on catching up on podcasts while playing.

Also to Bums and Zimm, I'm online but you might not see me if you're on ps3. Just send me a message when you guys wanna finish up.

Damn you, Tyler. All of your Metrico talk fooled me into playing it and now I'm already stuck on a puzzle.
Game is awesome. Just keep fucking around with every input and outcome available (outcomes being dying, pressing circle to restart, etc) and you should be able to solve every puzzle.

After I beat the game I looked up the collectibles and figured out HOW to actually unlock them. Now that I understand how they work, I've got 14 out of the 18 myself, and still need to get through the 6th world. They're easy and fun to get after you figure out how they work.

I don't think the game is devoid of personality at all, but I also don't really give a fuck if a game has "personality" as long as it has good gameplay, which Metrico does. So I'm not the best judge on that. It looks nice and has decent music IMO.

Levels 4 and 5 are probably my favorite levels. 6 was frustrating at times because of the inputs required.

My 3 rarest trophies are all now from Metrico.  No doubt they'll lose their rarity as more trophy hunters play it since, with a guide, they're not that hard to get.  But they should stay fairly rare (not 1% - 2% though) since the average PS+ user will start the game for 10 mins then move on to something else.

Haha when is the last time I said something to affa? Has to have been over 12 hours. Yet you continue on... Of course it won't qualify as baiting or shit starting for reasons. Nevermind that the last thing I directed at you was reconciliatory.

I haven't spoken to stellar in ...weeks? But on he goes. Not bait doe.

Almost done with Lego Marvel *vita.  Hate the Challenges tho.

If you're playing Far Cry 3 make sure to liberate as many of the outposts as possible (ideally all) before the last mission. You lose an item in the post-game that makes it more difficult than it needs to be. So dumb.

Metrico 9/10.

+ Quality puzzle platforming

+ Brings something new to the genre

+ Doesn't get stale

+ Vita inputs work great...

- ...Except for part of the last level where they reached a little bit further than they should have

agreed in general, but for me it was dry compared to, say, rayman, stealth inc, those blob games, etc. it's closer in feel to soundshapes, maybe, but for me ss was brimming with personality due to the way the music defined the level.

Really? Is that what happened? Our entire discussion centered around semantics? And you believe I worded things so that I would "always be right"? It couldn't have been that we were genuinely both thinking about it in different ways? And in the end, I admitted I "got it"? Or that I "got how frisky was viewing it"? I'm just curious since you bring it up. Doesn't matter, I guess.

Amazing, though. Because as I recall I've especially been cool with you since you created this new alt account. What need was there for this post?
You should know by now that nobody is safe. I like you so if I make fun of you, it's just jokes. Take it easy.

Yuck. Im drinking a 6 pack of Heineken with a few mix drinks of whiskey and coke.
Despite being Dutch, Heineken is like my least favorite beer ever.

I like Whiskey/Coke, prefer Crown but can pretty much tolerate any whiskey, though stuff like Jack Daniels can be a little overly-strong tasting for me.

Wow,

So recap on what I missed

A. I don't think hot dog boob is possible, but bacon boob? Maybe?

B. I don't advocate or drugs but it seems like some here could benefit from a joint or something

C. Talk of booze. Only a few more months and I can drink again, woohoo!

This is my first time trying heineken. While its good. I still wouldn't pick this as my go to beer. When it comes to liquor I only like Whiskey. Red Stag, Kentucky Bourbons, Irish Whiskeys. I like a variety of them.

This thread is a lot better when it's about hotdogs and boob pics; all this arguing is starting to bum me out.

But now someone is probably going to reference this 4 months from now in an attempt to make a point about my shifty, baity ways.

We were saying the exact same thing, btw. Just differently. Honestly, I had that same conversation with lots of other people and that confusion never arose. Not saying it was his fault. I'm just saying. I thought it would have been understood that the 24 hours never stopped.

I got a collectable in the first level which led to a Trophy. Guess I'm well on my way :)

I'll probably get back to the game in a week or so once I Platinum inFamous and Guacamelee. Glad it lived up to its premise.

Can anyone think of easy co-op games that have been on PS+? My 8 year old nephew likes to play games whenever I babysit. So far we've tried NBA Jam (fuck that rubber band AI), Foosball, Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One (fun), Pool Nation, and RF Battlegrounds (we quit immediately from that garbage).
