If it's anything like Vicodin, take 1. They gave me Vicodin for something (I forgot what now), and the nausea was not worth it

Though I remember being pretty stoked getting all those free SEGA classics. You know, one game a month.

Best soda is the Dr. Pepper with cherry...replaced my old discontinued favorites..coke w/ lime and Pepsi Twist. I've stopped drinking soda though now. Haven't had one in a good month. H2O for me now. Gotta stay trim for dem Cali beaches yo!
 
finally got injustice vita downloaded if anyone wants to start doing matches tonight after 7pmish cdt. I see they stripped some of the features out like koth and online practice so there's some new (and easy) trophies.

doesn't look nearly as bad as those circulated screenshots would have you believe. it's like the mortal kombat port - it's jarring at first but once you get used to it looks fine and plays smooth.

Our taxes are nothing compared to big cities. And look how cheap housing and property taxes are. We also have "big city perks" like a football team, basketball team, hockey team, baseball team, performing arts center, museums, great restaurants and bars all within walking distance of each other. It's ridiculously cheap to live here for what you get in return - that's why so many damn people keep moving here.

We're not missing shit by not having shitty Del Taco. I can't believe Bums eats there with all the fantastic Mexican food around where he lives.

Yeah I thought it looked pretty damn good. Obviously not as smooth lines as its console brothers, but still nice.

Pro tip: when you unlock the trophy for one costume, you also unlock the trophy for all costumes. Because Ultimate edition?
 
So Sands of Time is definitely dated as far as controls. Not terribly, but it really comes into play especially when combined with the somewhat poor platforming guidance. There's been quite a few deaths already where it seemed like I knew the way to go, but the game had a specific route for you to take and nothing else works. That's a bit annoying.

OTOH I think you guys complaining about the combat recently just didn't understand how it works. At least assuming things stay the same, anyway--right now I'm just past the Palace Defense System section. Yes, when you just alternate blocking and attacking it's super slow and annoying...but the PoP is all about the acrobatic shit. As soon as I started jumping over guy's heads and attack them from behind, decent-sized groups went down in no time and the combat felt smooth and completely natural.

Like I said, not that far in so far, so maybe something changes.

seriously if u get nauseous from some perc u may be a lightweight and only need the one at a time. And give it time to kick in. Dont rush it if the first isnt as good as you thought right away. We don't want to hear about a corgi being run over after lying down in the middle of the road.

Corgi, in the future if you are getting pain medication and you know it makes you nauseous you should let the doc know and they will typically give you something like zofran to help. Both times I had morphine I was given it automatically, but I've gotten it the other times I needed pain meds because I get nausea from taking them

 
Hey Tyler, any recommendations on ways to get the love the boom trophy in Far Cry? I think I cleared the outpost the guide mentions already, I may have to wait until I can reset them all to do it.

I think it and the death from above(I think is what its called) trophies will be the most annoying. I may have a good spot to use the hang glider for it though, just gonna take a few tries to get it to work.

Until they reshuffle their software team or hire some outside help Sony is going to Sony when it comes to this stuff. I know we don't have many X1 fans here but you have to at least hand it to them on this front. I remember hearing rumors years ago about a possible Google partnership but obviously nothing came of it.

I turned on my PS4 for the first time in over a week so I had to go over to the library to download the plus games. Shit was ridiculous scrolling through the row of every game I've played/installed. I don't need a lot but, damn. How folders still aren't a thing is beyond me. Give me that, DNLA, mp3 playback and pause/resume and I am good. All I want.

Being serious now, I'd rather take the PS4 OS than the X1. Too convoluted in comparison to Sony's and games install 5 hours later. The Kinect gimmick wore off quickly and no exclusive from Microsoft ever called me to their side, so I sold it. And the Wii U? NOPE.

I'm too lazy to go back and quote your other post, but I understood the combat just fine. It just wasn't nearly as enjoyable as the other game mechanics were.

Also, there's a cheat code to refill your sand tanks if you want to make quick work of the trophy for rewinding 200 times. It cuts down the need to do two full playthroughs when combined with the trophy for rewinding 20 times or less.

I saw the trait come up a few times, but I've always picked other things instead of it. I think I had it once, and got into a room with a chicken, but fell on some spikes chasing it and died.

I'm pretty far behind most of you in RL. Finally beat the forest boss last night. Up to level 64ish I believe. Been mainly concentrating on upping my stats. But I also suck. Took on castle remix boss and watched a video on how to beat him but I don't see any way in hell I'm going to be able to pull that off. But I thought the same of most death mode levels in Sound Shapes and I powered through that, so we'll see.

Practice. The only one that you really can't beat by learning the pattern and getting the moves down is Alex4. All the others, it's easy to come up with a good strategy that you can just do over and over.

I have a good friend whom it just absolutely kills to say "I was wrong". If I blatantly point something out to prove her wrong, she'll usually just retort with "shut up" or "whatever" or just get quiet and changed the subject or look for some loophole to somehow try and prove she wasn't totally wrong.

I don't get it, but it drives me insane. It's not like she's a vain person or worried about what others think about her usually, but for some reason she's hard-wired to have to be right.

I can't imagine having a parent like that. Both my parents were super cool in that area luckily.

All I was saying is I like Del Taco over Taco Bell. It's definitely not my first choice for Mexican food but if I have to pick between the 2 then Del Taco wins every time. The mom and pop restaurants by far have some of the best Mexican food I've eaten in my life.

I generally like the taste of fast food.  Del Taco is good (and whoever said they have pretty damn decent burgers is definitely right) but it doesn't beat the beefy 5 layer and Baja Blast at Taco Bell.
