Actually, they were not going fast. I'm no racing expert, but with the crash, they were supposed to slow down. Racing suspended while they attend to the wrecked vehicle.

Next, the guy is dumb, but by all accounts Tony sped up. Perhaps to fling dirt like you said. But if that's true, he now has culpability in a death. There will also be a camera in Tony's car.

This is going to get interesting. At the very least you will see a wrongful death suit by the family. But he could be in store for manslaughter. Maybe even murder if they consider his actions calculated with using the vehicle as a weapon.
 
Looked over the Target pre-order get $15 off thing. Can't find any particularly enticing deals for it, unfortunately. Oh well, they'll repeat that craziness from a month or two back at some point.

Oh, I see.

The article I read made it sound as if the race was full swing. (If you can tell I don't really watch racing so don't really know much)

That's different then, if they were supposed to be going slow (still the guy shouldn't have come out) and Stewart was going guns a blazing then ya he has some part in it. Guess it would help if I watch the video, but I don't want to see it.

I guess we'll see in a few months if they decide to do a case.

Not a fan of YMMV. My backlog is strong enough to wait for the natural price drop.

Thanks for the info though.

It also helps that even though my son loves the lego games, he's a few years away from being introduced to the LotR, Hobbit movies. I'm purposely holding him back from those lego games until he can watch the movies or read the books. I want his first experience with them to be at their best, not in block form.

Yeah, there arent a ton of great deals on it this time around. You can price match Best Buy's $29.99 price on Lego Hobbit PS4/XB1 and get that for $15-$16 before tax, but thats the only one that sticks out at this point.

I'm not encouraging you to watch it necessarily, but its really not very gruesome. With all respects to the dead man of course.

They should have been under a caution flag at that point, meaning they're going slower, but that's just slower than the top speeds their hitting under a green flag. As far as I could tell Tony wasn't going any quicker than anyone else under the caution, though the video kind of pulls away for whatever reason right before the contact, so when the guy taking the video goes back to the guy on the track you only see him for a split second before Tony enters the frame and hits him. So impossible to tell from that view if Tony gunned it at the last second or anything.

 
Tony Stewart is a moron. He should goto jail. He ran over the kid on purpose. I am told other drivers went around the kid yet Stewart went right for him.

Definitely makes sense to hold off then. I only picked it up cause of the $15 price point myself. But if you have enough of a backlog, you can easily wait out a drop.

 
The idiot shouldn't even be racing dirt track. He is a millionaire. Act like one and only race the big events. No reason for him to even be there to begin with.
 
I turned the volume up, and while you cant see it due to the camera panning away momentarily, it does sound like Tony's engine revs up right at the collision point.

My parents are really big Nascar fans, I'm sure I'll be hearing a lot about this in the coming weeks.

 
Has the price of Surgeon Simulator for PS4 being announced or posted somewhere? I checked the Steam listing and it was 9.99. Really doubt we get that over here.

And on the soda topic, I haven't drank one in over 4 years.

Got all the trophies on Metrico except the one for the 5th level, which is the dumbest one in the game.  Requires you to beat the level without "turning the Vita" which is kind of hard to do since the gyro controls are fairly sensitive.  I have grips on the Vita so I can't set it down flat to play it without taking the grips off.  Also, there's one section where you have to use the back touchpad anyway, so pulling that off while making sure the Vita doesn't turn is going to be a pain.

Also, here is my setup for the 6th level of Metrico:

Tyler yes the golf was late as they had a deluge earlier. 1 inch in 40 minutes. Soaked the course. They just remodeled with better drainage recently otherwise they wouldn't even be playing right now. they might not make it tonight.
 
Also I dont like racing at all. a buddy follows it and tells the honest truth about things like this. When he tells me Stewarts at fault I believe it. Also I know he has a temper and gets in fights a lot.
 
Thanks Pharm, soon after I posted that they mentioned why everything was running so late.  

Fowler looks like he might be done.  I must have missed it but it looks like his drive on 16 ended up in the 15th fairway.  Ouch.

Not sure if I want Phil or Rory more.  I like them both enough, but I'll probably pull for Phil if Fowler does fall off here.

 
Got that last Metrico trophy.  Wasn't quite as bad as I thought after I took the Vita out of the grips.  Really not that tough of a 100% and there's an excellent guide on PST already if you need it.  I was able to get 17 of the 18 collectibles by myself after I knew what I was doing.  I did use the guide for some of the specific level tips though.

Awesome game.

 
These guys are amazing when on. I am rooting for Mick or fowler because they are Americans. I like Rory too but if ah American is in it I am rooting for them.

Got ya. I did the first one solo earlier and it wasn't so bad. I'm sure it'll get a little tougher though.
