Yes! It's a pain in the ass to organize all those people to sit in the right place. ;)

No, you have a point. But I honestly think almost all online trophies are bullshit, so I boost away. And I've gotten trophies/achievements for friends before when they've asked (I'm kind of godly at rhythm games, so I'd get asked quite a bit to help people with hard Guitar Hero/Rock Band ones), even though I think it's weird, but who am I to judge.

Yeah, I feel the same way about online trophies. That one I used as an example in particular.

My real point is, who cares how others get their trophies? The trophy system does not objectively have any value, it's worth exactly what you want it to be worth.

With boosting, glitches, save data tampering, etc., what's another method to get trophies you didn't legitimately earn?

Infamous was good, but the story didn't work. Homeless "trash" people suddenly armed with rocket launchers and machine guns?

The combat was too much and the platforming/climbing sequences were too few.

I'm so close to the RB2 Platinum, yet so far. fuck that no start trophy, urgh.
 
I need Diablo explained to me like I'm a dummy. Cause I am when it comes to that. What exactly is the game about? Does it have a decent story? What can you do for SP or MP? Is it significantly watered down from the PC version? I am seriously considering it at this point just based on the commercials, but I'm also really inclined to wait for $25-$30 price range.

Attack from Mars dominated. It took me about 5 tries to beat the video mode, which was the last thing needed for the wizard goals trophy. So close to Cleaner!!!

Those are just bold-faced lies. The word "exclusive" means "limiting or limited to possession, control, or use by a single individual or group." Tomb Raider is not exclusive. We already have the phrase "timed exclusive" in the gaming lexicon and Microsoft knows this and has used it many many times. They intentionally chose not to use it this time so they could "headfake" people into thinking Tomb Raider is an actual exclusive.

Beyond that, the whole interview with Eurogamer is so defensive. "I didn't buy Tomb Raider, I don't own it, it's not my job to talk about games." He says this so many times, like he knows he and MS pushed it too far with their flat-out lie of calling it "exclusive" and now he's backtracking since everyone on the internet called him out on his bullshit.

Even moreso, he's acting like he would have had to buy the Tomb Raider IP to make it a real exclusive. That's a fucking lie too. The first Titanfall is an MS console exclusive, but MS didn't buy the IP. They could have done the exact same thing with Tomb Raider if they wanted to shill out that much money. They wouldn't have had to buy the Tomb Raider IP.

So I thought I was safe this week with purchases but just noticed Mamorukun Curse is a shumup with a platinum. Looks good for only $2.99

A game with Curse in its name shouldnt be so colorful and girlie. Especially a bullet hell schmup.

Phil Spencer being an Enormous Lying Cockbag is just another reason as to why I didn't go with an X1 this gen. It was clear from the end of the 360 life cycle until even now that Microsoft has been too scattered to figure out what the hell their main goal is at this point. They tried ramming the whole TV entertainment thing up our asses. Not to mention Kinect. I'm not saying it's bad to have more features but they stopped talking to us as gamers. It was obvious with the PS4 where they were going and they made the right move to focus on games first letting the other stuff take a back seat. It makes sense because gamers are the early adopters and the rest follow the leader. It just sucks that nothing is really clear anymore when it comes to exclusives, timed, DLC, buy it here or buy it there, it's all just a bunch of horse shit in my opinion.

I wasn't a huge PS2 lover (favored Gamecube) and didn't get into the PS3 until later in the cycle but it's pretty clear to me this gen PS4 is where it's at. Tomb Raider will come to the PS4 because of money. All the developers want all they can get which makes sense as a 3rd party. It just sucks that the messaging isn't clear from the get-go. It's obvious Microsoft is worried and they want to try to push people to buy their console...just kind of a shitty way to do it.

I thought it looked more interesting than typical shmups due to it not being auto-scrolling, but more like a Pocky & Rocky game (I read that comparison somewhere and it sounded appropriate).

You tempted me also because its only 2.99 and I also grew up with schmups. I wasnt really ever good at them though and this one is too anime-ish for me. It would annoy the shit out of me.

Oh and I have a PS4 to play now. I need to say fuck you to Ps3 games.

EDIT: Thunderforce and Rtype were awesome in their day.
