Just put in Resistance: Burning Skies. It's been over a year since I put a physical cart in my Vita. I'd forgotten how huge they are. So weird that they went with such a large form factor.

That feel when you get 4 boasts in one game. Sit the fuck down, people. Agent Pea is dope. Probably gonna hit level 10 with that before anything else. What was the level cap on characters before and what is it now after Zomboss Down was released?

Scratched PVZ off the backlog now moving to something else. I think I am going to try to finish Warhammer 40k Space Marine. School starts in 5 days, so my gaming time is going to be severely limited. I think I made a good enough dent in my backlog this summer to be able to finish it by January / February.

Mamorukun Curse is a good shmup for the $2.99 price. I'm glad I didn't pass on it since it has a difficult platinum.

Now I got to pick up R-Type Dimensions this week since I love shmups.

You like it anyway you can get it.
Your damn right, son.

You still in high school corgi? Its ok i wont tell anyone

Guys, there's some serious money to be had on this fishies playing Street FIghter. Maybe we can get tyler a new game for PS4 or we can finally get rpg a PS4.

Which ones do you still need? I got a few on my own with a second DS4 after we played but I think I need a few others as well.
Rise to the top, Ground Breaking, Statistical Advantage, I voted, It has begun, Learning is fun, Over achiever, Tourist. Some any of the character specific ones. Although some / many of those I could do with a second controller.

I cannot believe how hard the last boss is in the new Castle of Illusion game and it doesn't help that you have to watch a fucking cinematic every time you die. Isn't this a kids game?

Edit: Finished 2 tries after posting the previous post. #TheCroSyndrome

WH40k:SM is quite fun. The ending leads into a sequel that never happened, though. :(

I've got this downloaded (and the original) but haven't tried them yet because of how annoying Ducktales was.

what was wrong with ducktales? (It's in my backlog so I'm curious)
The hit and attack boxes were off, and it had the "classic" style where you get 3 tries to beat the map + boss before having to restart the entire level. There were quite a few times where I'd die to the boss then have to re-run the half hour map to get to it again. I'm not a fan of that mechanic.

ducktales is a decent play and as long as you're not a total wussloserbuttface it's easy enough to accommodate whatever 'hitbox' issues there were (?). the bug where you occassionally wouldn't bounce correctly was irritating, but not game breaking and it was easy enough to accommodate. I also think they patched it, but that would've been after I played it.

it plays very much like the nes game. if you played that you'll be playing it again.

I played it post-patch and had no issues with the bouncing, so apparently it was fixed.

I played it on PC, so I'm not sure if there were different issues there. The hitbox problem I was referring to was that there were quite a few times I got "hit" when doing a pogo attack and the pogo mde contact with the enemy first--it would count as a hit against me when the enemy should have gotten a hit instead.

But again, I also don't like that style of game anymore. Back when I was a kid and wanted to spend a lot of time on a single game it was a better fit. Nowadays I just want to enjoy a game, beat it, and move on. Having to replay a 30-minute segment several times to figure out a boss's patterns just doesn't fit what I'm looking for or enjoy.

Is share play a thing yet? I can't fucking get past the beginning of chapter 8. God this shit sucks. The controls make no sense. I just want to get killzone over with.
You were warned. No one here has the right to complain about Killzone. It's why I kept quiet when you claimed to be "enjoying" it last week, lol. I knew that impression would eventually change.

I enjoyed that game a lot as well. At least until I reached what was presumably the last battle. It's not hard, just waves of enemies that if you fall to require a restart from the very beginning. Died a few times and gave up. Ain't nobody got time for that, so I never saw the ending. Guess I should youtube it.

I do know what simmias was talking about now, but I can still complain. Even if I didnt actually pay for it. I just want to finish it so I can move on. I got stuck at the level 9 boss last night and just decided to quit for the night rather than play it three times. The thing that bothers me the most is that the levels seem so big yet have so little in them. Its just a lot of wandering around sometimes. And other times its just a corridor shooter and you have nowhere to go but straight. And its just a lot of walking.

There area few points in the game like that, yeah. Most of them weren't hard to get through once you figured out the right balance of attack/healing.

Resistance isn't too bad. Generic, like somebody said; you can carry all your weapons at once, the enemy AI is really dumb, and there's not much concentration on the story. It looks and controls well enough, though, and looks to be ~6 hours for the campaign with the plat being almost entirely attainable by a single run-through of the story.

things I've learned in the past 12 hours:
- I'm a much better aim in tlou if I'm playing with a ds4 instead of the vita
- Rainbow Moon seems cool and really really long
- I knew I ditched out on Killzone for a reason, sucks that it only gets worse.
- brutal legend has a 250mb patch (sorry zimm, totally forgot - looks like you can just trade off surrenders to speed things up though. there's some real bitch one off trophies in there that I'm mentally prepping for)
- stotch is not actually planning on updating all of our psnprofile accounts, I had to do mine myself this morning

How far are you in Rainbow Moon? I'm about 15 hours in and just got the 4th of 6 characters. Still tons to do. Absolutely perfect game to play when watching TV, btw. Requires very little attention.

I need a Vita. I want to play Rainbow Moon, but I'm probably never gonna get to it on PS3.

Breaking Bad?  Never heard of it.  Unrelated, but isnt that guy in the X1 commercial a great actor?  I am going to buy an X1 after I sell my ballsweat PS4 for $500.

just a couple hours in, just got my first party member. but so far the mechanics seem very sound and they clearly put some thought in to accelerating fights without making them mindless which I totally appreciate. it'll be my go to watching tv/over lunch game for a while when not fishing for injustice matches.

Cool. It speeds up quite a bit as you get additional sub-turns. So far I'm at level 17 or so and I've only had 3 sub-turns, though; the archer chick gets the third ~15, which was a nice change.

Mechanics-wise it's really good. My only complaints are that you have to go into items to open the map and that you have to hold square+L1/R1 to switch between characters (it's awkward.)

No worries. I took care of the concept art I need for the 100% completion trophy last night, along with a couple other ones you can do solo in the MP. Talk of the corrupt save file bug makes me nervous, so I'm trying to follow the anti-corruption guides closely.

I read you can just surrender to get the ranked wins last night as well, so that should cut down time for that significantly. Might not have time until next week to do that though as I have to pack and clean and actually get a decent sleep before I go back to the motherland tomorrow.
