It's crazy, I'm already $900 invested in this trip im taking with flight and house. I'm going down there with 600 for food/booze/activities, and im not even bringing the family. 1500 for myself to go to SanDiego for 5 days..fuck Ing nuts.
With that said, anyone from or have been there have any suggestions for things to do. We are going to swim with sharks, possibly rent jet skis, maybe go to Tijuana, and I definitely want to find surfing lessons..?

Wait, are you married? And YOUR (I know this is write Frisky's cousin et all) wife is letting you go to San Diego (and we all know San Diego means side trip to Tijuana) by yourself?

Lucky bastard.

Gaslamp district

Downtown Little Italy

Padres Stadium

Erm, can't think of anything else now

Oh and personally I wouldn't do Tiajuanna, I would drive either 30 minutes more and do Rosarito or an hour more and do Ensenada

Not married, but living with gf and kids (only one is mine). Going there for friends bachelor party, and yea I'm sure she's not too happy about it, but I don't treat myself to too much. She's gone to visit her family in Texas twice since the last time I've took a big trip.

Sly on Vita is pretty tempting. It's just that TiT didn't grab me; it starts out entirely about sneaking and platforming. Is that the entire game? Some of that is fine but I want to kill stuff in games not feel like I'm constantly trying to get through a puzzle of how not to be seen (I don't like puzzle games and feel they're a waste of my time.)

Neither Bumslie, Matt, or NinjaSquirrel have played Resident Evil 4.

Jesus Christ.

The first Sly is more level-based, whereas Sly 2 edges closer to TiT's structure and Sly 3 is even more similar. You probably shouldn't be playing a game about sneaking if you want to kill stuff.

But go ahead if you don't mind being annoyed.

Padre game would be fun if they're at home. I'd love to check out a new stadium.
There's a Packer bar I guess right near where we are staying, and well be there for that opening game on that Thursday.

The brief period that we lived in San Diego, we went to a Padres game (my husband won tickets right smack next to the field), it was really fun. And the players come up and talk to you too. I know nothing about baseball, but they were fun to talk to.

Go to Coronado, all the Pizza Port locations, Modern Times, The Lost Abbey, Green Flash, Ballast Point, and Stone Brewing while you are there so I can be jealous.

EDIT: I am an idiot and forgot Alesmith.

I still don't understand why people recommend games based on how short they are. He's gonna have to play the long games anyway, is it a psychological thing?
Yes its psychological. It feels good to finish something but it also means that they never get to the long games. Which is one of the many reasons I stopped playing most RPGs.

I went to the sale page and I wondered why God of War Collection Vita did not have any price at all.  I clicked on it and then there was a choose version where one was free and one was 9.99.   Is that the old trials glitch thing happening again or is the free one just the demo?

I did the trials thing way back when and could have done the glitch to get the Vita one.  I was too scared I was going to get Tyler'd and did not pull the trigger.

I was taking a shit and reading an old issue of Game Informer, and it popped into my head to check the comments section to see what people had to say about the article.

I'm too plugged in. :whistle2:|
