Haha, that's exactly what happened. it went down at like 5 til midnite exactly cuz I was trying to get tlou with stotch all day but couldnt but was able to get on cod at night ;)

It won't help to know this, but apparently several people have reported slower trade-ins at their store in the Best Buy Trade-In thread because the system may have been updated?

It took me a bit to get used to it but I really enjoyed the game. Bum rushing enemies and building the combo. Throwing weapons at them. It's challenging but fun. I'll definitely buy the sequel on sale. That Kickstarter figure is awesome too. The cool neon one sold out. $200 is too rich for my blood. Heck any game with a special edition over $100 is ridiculous.
 
Just did some math. I can trade in 16 games, most of which I've never played and are getting better value than what I paid. Total came to $332. So not quite a MasterRace bundle, but still too good to pass up. I just hope prices dont change in between now and driving up there.

For those thinking of going for it since it has a pretty high TT value, time wise it isn't that bad, the first two playthroughs were 22-24ish hours, but that's because I did more collecting than I probably should have in the first playthrough as its your second playthrough that you need to do all the events to get get all the swords. So if you were following a guide from the start and didn't go for all the life shards you could probably shave 4 to 6 hours off the first playthrough. Then the 3rd (1-hit kill) playthrough you can skip collecting all the life shards so you can finish it in under 10 hours (though the game has to run for 10 hours to get a trophy in that mode).

If you don't have pretty quick reflexes to do the dash time trials (even cheating by quickly pausing and repausing to inch around the track is pretty difficult) then I wouldn't try for it. Unfortunately that has to be done in your second (or third depending on the order) playthrough so you'll already be 25-35 hours invested in it before it will be make or break for platting it. Have to get under 65 seconds (raised from 60 seconds via a patch). There is a pretty good guide to follow for platting it (there is pretty much only one FAQ for the game on the internet), but I would recommend doing a few things differently from it so let me know if you decide to try for it.

Not bad--I plan on trading in 15 games later today for $326.40 after bonuses, four of which are from my personal collection (TLoUR, AC IV on PS4, Ground Zeroes, and Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen on PS3) and the remaining 11 from various Gamestops in my area. :booty:

Theres definitely 2 GameStops right there beside Best Buy lol, but I'm just too lazy for all that. All my games are coming right off my shelf (and out of the case, into a disc sleeve :))

What specifically at GS is worth flipping for more than a few bucks? Edit: Or are you just rolling over credit from GS to BB?

Most of what I'm getting is taking advantage of the B2G1 coupons that printed out on receipts over the past few weeks, and today is the last day the B2G1 is active.

So nobody has to wait like 5 minutes to get to your main menu on PS4? I have to wait and then I get three beeps when I shut down. I assume the three beep thing is because it is trying to connect to PSN (friends list is a constant spinning circle) and I'm interrupting that. I know I asked earlier, I'm just paranoid about my system now cuz I haven't seen any one else complain about it.

Dude my backlog is huge. I just got diablo and sr4 national treasure and dishonored goty and destiny soon and edf 2025 and minecraft and so many more. I need to finish bioshock 2 for plat. eventually get from level 65->99 in gtav and now they patched the afk method. plus everyone in here is telling me to play just cause 2 and infamous 2. so iv got infamous 2, jc2 and 3d dot game heroes in my next 10 games to play. ;) #FirstWorldProblems

plus i need to work sometime but I keep being too lazy. I should have a 3grrl bj show tonite, but we all know how that goes when ya plan it, but they really wanna meet up 10-2am. I guess if psn is still down ill take a cod break. ;)

Getting 100% on City would never even cross my mind. All that DLC where you just do the same challenges over and over with a new character would just be too much for me to ever want to do. I just hope I can get the motivation to go back to the campaign challenges with Batman to get the plat.

 
Car update: water pump busted, which caused the temp to rise and either the thermostat was already busted or it crapped out due to the issues. At the same time the alternator is bad so the car isnt getting power. Which kills the battery. The power issues may have caused some of the overheating which may have affected the water pump etc. Seems a strange coincidence that both the water pump and alternator would go bad at the same time. It has been butt fuck ing hot the last week or so. Who knows.

all told it won't be cheap but its cheaper than buying a new car. As long as the engine and transmission are in good shape I think we can continue to run this car a long time. I hope anyway.

Yeah, the term I'd use to describe a 6'5", 250 lb QB who plays through injury and has never missed a game is "paper-like."

That dash circuit in 3DDGH doesn't even look that hard. Also, I just got $43 for trading GTA V...which is like a year old now.
