The first season of Breaking Bad is pretty slow and boring. And it got shitty ass ratings. If it were on any channel other than AMC, it would not have made it past that first season.

fucking ebay seller just shipped my my package today, today is the last day of the acceptable delivery window.  Dumbass.

I've had so much better luck with 3rd party sellers on Amazon.  Makes ebay sellers look like the "special" class.

This reminds me. I sold something on eBay about a month ago and it was shipped, delivered, confirmed all that. Feedback still has to be left. Am I supposed to leave it first, or the buyer? Does it matter?

I guess that's why I've done well on ebay. I always ship the day of or the day after payment. I give them tracking info etc. etc. etc. If I can't make the shipment I let the user know. It's all about customer service.

It doesn't matter. A lot of sellers will leave feedback as soon as they receive payment, but I don't do that I wait for the item to be delivered.

At this point just leave feedback and hope the buyer does as well.

It doesn't matter what order, but if a buyer doesn't leave it right after they get the item, then they usually never get around to leaving it.

I've yet to get feedback from anybody I sold to. I've bought 2 items off ebay and got feedback immediately from both of those sellers. Go figure.

I've been leaving feedback for every buyer after delivery, though.

I was thinking of streaming some Metro Redux tonight, but I haven't played it before and your guys' goofy comments would probably distract me from the story. Plus I'm getting it on Xbone, which is generally frowned upon 'round these parts.

Did you guys all clan-up for Destiny already?
I don't think we ever put anything together.. unless they did and purposely left me out.

I have had ebay sellers ask me to leave feedback before I even get the item. I never leave feedback for those dbs. But normally I will leave feedback as soon as I get it and it looks good. I personally think a seller should leave feedback when they get paid. But most seem to wait for the buyer to leave feedback first. I guess because of returns.

I may be the only person who really loved the fly episode. I'm into weird shit though.

I'm also finally watching The Wire. Now that is a show with some terrible beginning episodes. I think it took until about episode 8 before I started caring about anything in it.

Cool. I'm sure I jump in with some of you guys then. I honestly don't even know how the MP works, I haven't paid a ton of attention to Destiny so far, kinda want to go in blind.

First day I'll probably do a lot of solo stuff, but that will be fine since the servers will be on life-support anyway.

In before The Wire diatribe. It's one of my favorites, but there is a large barrier to entry. Watching it the second time is much more rewarding than the first, but not many people have the time for that or want to put forth the effort, which is totally understandable.

Once the kids get back in school I plan on getting on the exercise bike while I watch Doctor Who, Breaking Bad,  Archer, or whatever else i can't watch with kids around. Gotta get back down to 160#.

Fair enough. I'm starting to like it a lot, but man those first few episodes... Looking at some discussions online though it sounds like a lot of people don't like it at first so I'm definitely going to stick with it. I watched Breaking Bad again leading up to the last 8 episodes and I felt like the first few episodes are much stronger taking the whole series into account

$100K person needs to identify themselves otherwise I say it's ctrl trying to ego boost.

And Tyler count me in for any Destiny MP as well, looking forward to it.

The way I think it works is that a majority of levels that you can play as single player have opportunities for random other players to show up and help out (or you can just be partied up with people from the get go). Than you can go to other "planets" (more like just a menu option) where it is team based competetive stuff (caputre the flag, team deathmatch) similar to Halo.

I had a lot of fun in the alpha and skipped the beta since the game wasn't too far off. I'll definitely add my name to the spreadsheet or whatever and look forward to joinging some of you guys. I'm going to be away on vacation the week it comes out, though, so won't be able to jump in proper until that Saturday (by which point I'm sure everyone will be a crazy amount of levels higher than me).

Fair warning, you're going to have a rough time of season 2. It's the slowest by a large margin. 3 and 4 are the best of the series if you make it there, though.

Since we were on this topic, this weather-woman was on my local fo news right now, she's pretty cute:

I didn't catch her name.
Every now and then I find myself on the first page. Ah, the good ole days. Can we get a hot chick on each page from now on?

In case anyone forgot, our fantasy football draft is later this evening. Sorry I've been slacking on any announcements for it. I did my draft for my regular league with my friends last night, and was able to do the whole thing on my phone at work. There is an option it gives to do a lite draft so it doesn't have to use a flash player. Thought that might help some people out.
