PSN Off-Topic - Happy Thanksgiving Chumps and Chumpettes!

I played both Joe Danger games on XBLA and got all the achievements. It was a challenge so I'm proud of that. I've been wanting to play through them on PSN and was wondering what happened to the Vita version. I'm glad we're getting it Day 1 so that's an automatic win in my book. Going from JD2 to JD1 was a bitch though. They changed the boosting and made it easier for the sequel so it made it difficult to play the original afterwards. I believe the Vita version has the upgraded boost so it shouldn't be as frustrating.

I'm happy I kept passing on sales for most of the older games. Didn't get burned like Tyler :p On Xbox 360 it sucks since I own most games
The achievements on XBLA are way easier than the trophies too.

If Joe Danger Vita has a plat, I'll re-play it. Otherwise, I might just stick with going back to the original one on PS3. Although, I did hear it has more levels that never released on PS3.

Really? I haven't looked into it but assumed the trophies were similar. I got all the stars and pro medals on both games so that's where the challenge was. I'll have to mix in time with all the PlayStation versions.

I was just looking for a Josh Gordon replacement when I noticed Aaron Hernandez & Randy Moss were available to be picked up. Which one do you guys think I should grab? I hear they both have put up big big points.
Tony Gonzalez or Rashard Mendehall.

No Lenny's or Mike's near me.  I do have Jimmy John's and Firehouse Subs though.  Firehouse is pretty enjoyable but a bit pricier.  Jimmy Johns is money except for the mustard they use which I hate, I have to request no mustard and just get a couple packets of yellow mustard on the side.

As for Subway, it's fine if others like them but I generally don't.  You usually get fairly small portions and they're prices are so high compared to the low-tier fast food chains.  I do enjoy a good meatball from them once in a while, but it's like $6 now for a footlong.  I can usually get a sweet Carls Jr or In N Out combo with fries and drink for that price.  There is a Subway right next to my house so I do go there once in a while, but many times I end up regretting it.

There is nothing at all wrong with Taco Bell.  If you have digestive issues from eating at taco bell, I'd guess you have digestive issues from eating at almost all greasy fast food restaurants.

While everything you said is correct, you're failing to account for one aspect of the situation; cost. If an indie game comes out and I'm interested, it starts at maybe $15-$20 and is $10 at the next sale or in PS+ within six months for quite a few titles. A "AAA" game can take at least a year or two to get to that point, and often when they hit PS+ they're still not hitting those sale prices. To me that's the appeal of AAA games hitting PS+; that they're getting to a cheap point so that I can play them without having to wait a few years or get lucky in a flip/glitch/PM situation.
Can you give me a couple examples of AAA games that hit plus that you were super happy about getting. I've noticed most "AAA" are already super old and cheap by the time they get to Plus. Crysis 3 (which I don't classify as "AAA" anyway) and Dead Space 3 were old as sin and had been super cheap already.

With the PS3 version of Joe Danger 2, you have to get the pro medals in the DLC courses, which are the hardest ones. Don't remember the differences between the different versions of Joe Danger, but I'm pretty sure the PS3 version was considered harder.

Taco Bell usually fucks my stomach up but no other fast food does it to that degree. I'd just go to the better fast food restaurant for Mexican which we ALL know is Del Taco.

The other problem is their quality of meat is super low. After Jersey Mikes I can never eat at a Subway sub again.
I try not to eat there if I can help it. Like Tyler, the only thing I enjoy much is the meatball sub. If it's not that I usually get something with chicken on it. Their chicken is tasteless and it's not uncommon to get a piece with gristle in it. I hate biting into that crap, ruins my appetite.

Yeah their chicken is the worst, very flavorless.

If I don't get a meatball I'll just get whatever the $3 sub is, usually ham or cold cuts or something. Pile on some mustard, lite mayo, spinach, onions, black pepper, and Parmesan cheese and it's decent. Still just way too bready with not enough meat.

Taco Bell > Del Taco

That beefy 5 layer burrito is the best fast food item there is.

Wendy's Cheesy Cheddarburger (which they took off the menu but will still make for me) is also delicious.

Boy, I wish the Taco Bell in my area was closer than Subway--it's just far enough that I don't have time to drive there during my lunch break. :headache:

Taco Bell has always seemed to be the furthest away from me as well. I can still get there on my lunch (I get an hour) but I definitely end up at McDonalds or Subway when I'd prefer Taco Bell because they're significantly closer to me.

I agree with you guys about the chicken and the meatball subs.  Problem is, it is the only 2 sandwiches they make where you feel like you have eaten more than just bread.  If I get the chicken, i make it have some flavor by getting the southwest sauce and jalapenos on it.  At least then it has some kick and a bit of a crunch.

Subway's ok, every now and then, definitely don't eat there as much as I used to.  Best subs around me come from small mom & pop shops.  Then there's an amish market not too far from my work and I swear they literally put a pound of meat on a footlong sub.  If I can get through half, I'm lucky.

You people complaining that there is not enough meat on a Subway sub and then going to a place that is more expensive but has more meat on the sub are kind of funny. I'm not saying I love subway, but that's a dumb complaint. Ask for double meat. Problem solved.

Myself, I don't like tons of lunchmeat on a sub. The worst are those NY deli sandwiches which are like lunch meat bricks. Two bricks.

No the problem really wouldn't be solved. The cold cut meats on a Subway sub suck because it is sliced somewhere other than the store it is sold at and looks green by the time they sell it to you.

Disregarding that... even double the meat would still not be as much as what comes on a sandwich at Firehouse or Jersey Mikes. There used to be enough of a price difference it was justifiable. Now... not so much.

When you add double meat you can use the same amount of money and get a Jersey Mikes sub.

Subways meatball subs tatste like the Spaghetti O's meatballs.

Mailed it!

I still want to see a pic of the famous Grilled Cheese stuffed with Mac & Cheese.

Omg, I just saw this commercial on the tv:

Kmart store with only 3 customers, seems accurate. Had Kmart in my town, but they've been out of business for about a decade.

New Firehouse Sub opened up about a month ago, it is ridiculous the amount of meat you get in it. They had the misfortune to open up just as major road construction was being done on the street that goes by it so it is a pain in the ass to get to, have to take a frontage road for a block and a half which can't be helping their sales.

I disagree. Tyler has opened the floodgates. Jimbos are now welcome. :(
