I think I Perfect'd most of the first 30 levels on the first try, though there may have been one or two that took me a few tries.

I think I only have like three wiz goals on each system.

Bride of Pinbot is the easiest one to get. Not that challenging.

Tales of Arabian Nights isn't that bad either. Hardest part is actually getting to them because that Harem multiball Master one is a bitch and should be a wiz goal.

Theater of Magic is kinda hard. Mainly that one where you have to hit the chest hole within five seconds of multiball starting without hitting anything else first. Lucked into that. Possibly glitched into it.

My other is Blackhole which just takes patience with the upside down part.

I think I got wiz on Star Trek on iOS. That was a bitch to get.

Best advice is play them over and over, even when they frustrate you. If your first ball is crap, just restart the game so you don't waste time with only two balls.

Have to say, while I appreciate the upgraded a/v presentation on Vita, I sorta miss the 3DS' stylus controls. I cringe anytime I have to touch the Vita's screen.

It does require replays (all 9 other endings) to get the real ending. But thankfully the game has a skip dialogue option as well as the ability to jump anywhere in the flow chart. I wouldnt have done all the replays if those options weren't avaliable.

According to the blog  The Binding of Issac comes out 11/4. 

Was all your talk of it being free w/ Plus in October some sort of in-joke I'm not part of?

I'll be alternating between that and Destiny starting next week. I know matt and stellar play together most nights.

But if you're just talking about TLoU, they do that a couple times a week.

This was in the GS thread. Looks like you can just rent the disc version of Minecraft (GameStop return?) and you'll get the digital version for free. And then you can use that to upgrade to PS4 version for $5. Posted a gamefaqs link and everything, so you know it's 100% legit.
 
Gross, gamefaqs, I know. Honestly though I just checked the boards seeing if it happened for anyone else and it came up, the quote on there says that it's on the PS blog though. And uh, it worked for me as well. ;)

Wow, that Strider speed run was a helluva lot easier than I expected...


Fun game if you like metroidvania style games, but it's pretty simple (except when you're traveling between areas trying to collect everything - they kinda fucked that up.  Fast travel would have been nice.)

yeah i didnt know of any shiv glitch either, just the survivor+. also just put in minecraft, loaded it up and still not free in ps store. Am I doing it wrong. It was only 16 @ bestbuy and I was gonna give it to my kids as a gift soon, but for such a tiny file game and break even flip Id prefer free. ;)

Damn, that minecraft 3 thing might have only been if you already had it loaded on your ps3 pre announcement?

My laziness it was just sitting there and I never put it in

I think you have to play every scene to get to the real ending, but you can skip all the dialogue you've already read if you do have to play through part of a scene again.

 
yeah damnit. It's only if you have put it in your fucking system before it was announced. I need to always remember to put the game in the moment I buy it or else shit like this happens. Rage. oh wellz

 
So when is TLoU getting a "Game of the Year" edition for PS3? Uncharted 3 got one just 6 months after release...

Oh and simmias, Matt and I play TLOU MP like 3-4 times a week. I never see you playing MP though. Like right now it shows you on Dead Nation.

Looks like the Cheetos DLC that idiots spent $20-$30 for on PvZ:GW is now free for everybody. Just go on the game and check the sticker shop.

this. also, chances are you won't get more than 1 or 2 wizard goals in a game, so just focus on one goal and try to setup all your shots towards that goal.
 
Yes, Ibb and Obb has connection issues.  Don't bother with it guys

Bums and I are on level 12 and got disconnected right at the end of it.  So we have to replay that, then play 3 more levels after so we'll probably try and complete since we're so close.  But we've been disconnected twice now which sucks balls since you lose all level progress.

I was just going to come post this issue. It sucks we have replay the level again. Stay away from Ibb and Obb cause there are better puzzle games out there.

Yeah, I played a few games and was pretty sucky. Only one other guy had a mic, and the two others would just run off solo and get killed. I figured I'd wait for some people I know would have mics and coordinate :)

 
Maybe someone will care. Best buy gave me $150 for the old iPad 2 towards an iPad mini. The 16gb non retina display is now $200 instead of $300.
 
OK, now I'm getting ticked off. The final DLC stage (Telepod Titan) has a 1:20 Gold time, but the very best run that I can pull off (getting all of the rescues, crystals, and points) results in 1:25. There aren't any video guides that can help, so I'm stumped as to where I can shave off 5 whole seconds. :headache:
