So I got my 25 perfects.  Guess I'm about done.  Vig and Champ, which levels would you say are the 5 hardest to perfect?  No point in continuing now unless I start on the hardest ones and work backwards.

I I have not actually played a slim, but based on what has been written about it I think I would choose it over the OLED. The screen might be a bit better on the OLED, but longer battery life and a start button you can actually press when you want to would be preferable to me.

Snakey's post should already tell you, but go slim. I used to be team oled, but now my oled is just a jap side account. There's some difference in the colors, but the screen on the slim is made to look so much clearer. Not to mention the other improvements like better back grips, back touchpad, lighter, and better battery.

I have both. The slim is better in every way except that the OLED has a slight edge in some of the really good-looking games (Muramasa Rebirth, for example.) Overall the slim feels tons better, has better battery life, a standard charging port instead of the proprietary crap, and looks almost as good for the older Vita games; newer ones will be optimized for the slim's LCD and so that will change.

Also I've seen a number of comments about how remote play doesn't look very good on the OLED because PS4 games are color-optimized for an LCD. There's been some dissension on that aspect, but it is something to consider.

 
I had no plans to get Minecraft PS4, but since I had rented the PS3 version long ago I do have the $5 upgrade option in the store.  Pretty hard to pass it up at that price.

Is there a deadline on that? Minecraft seems like a PS+ game to me. Then again people rave over it even though it looks cheap, so maybe not.

I highly doubt it will ever hit PS+, but if it does it will be years from now. Minecraft will be the best selling digital game on PS4 for a long time now. They will never have to put it in PS+ if they don't want to.

And you have one year for the upgrade option.

I echo all this. Plus the more standardized charging plug in is great. I've read it feels better in the hands. I really need to get grips for mine, but I'm waiting till I upgrade to the slim.

Also doesn't it have 1 gig of storage on it? You can't store games on that gig, but it frees up room on your memory card for more games. Did I dream reading that or is that legit?

I'm going to agree with Tyler here.  I just don't see the PS4 version being added to Plus for a very very long time and likely never.  Maybe a Plus sale, but I seriously doubt it would be down to $5 or less for that.

I might could see them putting the Vita or PS3 version on Plus at some point (assuming it is not cross-buy with PS4) to possible get more PS4 sales later.  I wouldn't hold my breath for that either though.

I haven't played in awhile and charged up the controller and would like to play with some peeps I know. Also, since I haven't played in awhile, I'll suck more than likely.

yeah I read about the 1gb storage on slim.
 
several time a week is the most? where is several times an hour? I havnt gone a day without getting high in 13 years. I am either drinking or smoking weed or gaming or having sex. or multiples of the above.  Sometimes I have to deal with my kids. Sometimes I post on cag.

also you had to have already had minecraft disc for ps3 or go digital. I had it sitting in my backlog but since I didn't have any save/trophy data I am screwed out of ps4 upgrade / vita crossbut / free ps3 digital.

I was concerned about getting the slim when I kept hearing the OLED was so much better but a thread regular posted a shit ton of info comparing the two and laid my fears to rest. They even posted a video (or maybe it was screenshots) comparing both models during remote play; OLED really fucked with the colors.

Can't remember who it was (I want to say it was owl); maybe they'll see this and set the record straight.

So it's not like on 360 where you could rent the disc, play online/unlock an achievement and then 72 hours later get the option to upgrade for $5? I rented the PS3 version a couple weeks ago to see if it would work but I guess not.
 
if you rented a couple weeks ago it should work if you have save data or trophy data. I bought it in July but never put it in my ps3 so Im in the screwed over grey zone of buying too early but didnt play and not buying now with a voucher slip inside. doh.

i emailed customer service my receipts, but they keep saying there is no such thing as free ps3 version, just 4.99 upgrade for ps4. i keep telling them they are one in the same and they are like no way sir we are not giving you a free ps3 digital version. im like, i already own it! I just dont want to miss out on vita crossbuy and ps4 $5 upgrade....grrrr

Because, even in a time when multiple states have legalized recreational use and many more have instituted medical marijuana programs, certain people don't feel comfortable talking about that. Different people have different reasons and I won't pretend to know or understand how other people feel, but I personally don't think it's controversial or taboo.

I have never and will never smoke weed. But that's because its smoke and illegal. If it were legal I would probably eat it every day. I know guys that make pot cookies and smoke all the time. I feel we should just legalize all drugs. The war on drugs is a waste of money and resources. Tax it and tell people if they do anything hardcore like crack they are on their own health wise. As long as we are allowed to get drunk and smoke cigs that is proven to kill people more than pot this drug war will always be a joke.
 
Can't see the poll on Tapatalk, but I see it's about marijuana. I used to smoke at least 2 ounces per week, now none at all. It's hard for me to understand how most consider it worse than alcohol. The fact that I can walk in the convenience store and buy a case of beer while marijuana is illegal is absurd in my opinion.

Wren pretty much mailed it. The "war" on drugs is nothing more than a cash grab for the government. It will never be "winnable" or even close to it. You want to "win the war"? Then make them all legal, tax the shit outta them, and regulate them. That will all but kill the black market, reducing crime in the process. 

My opinion??? This never happens because the government makes so much money off having people addicted to pharmaceutical drugs, they're afraid (just like with medical marijuana) that it will put a dent in their money making. The same thing has happened with e-cigarettes. Once they realized how good of a replacement these things are, and that its crippling their money from tobacco sales, they do whatever they can to discredit them, tax them out the ass, or straight up get rid of them. 

It has always been, and will always be, about the money. Never about the people.
