except this gen, Madden and FIFA were able to port over the full games at launch this year, and this year have delivered 2 new experiences without cutting out any modes. Nhl skips launch, releases NHL 14 as NHL 15 on last gen consoles, and simply gives us better gameplay and takes everthing else out this year.

if that makes you angry, just peruse chaturbate for a day. You will be surprised what people do and don't tip for. This chic is on right now doing blacksmithing and just got $10 tip. Her keep it going rate is $.50/sec. some people....

 
Should be finishing up VU over lunch. Not platting, but beating level 50 and then grabbing a few leftover easy trophies. Not sure what to play next. Too soon for V2X, I think. Back to FFX, I suppose.

I can't speak for any of you Android or WP-phone peons, but the Destiny iOS app works really well. You can manage your clans, friends and messages all from there. Anyway, added.

probly not. I was hoping it would say it sent or something but it is still just sitting there in our 'purchased' wish list on Amazon. I talked to some more broadcasters and they said they can just click that they bought it somewhere else and it will put it as purchased on your friends list. Oh wells, if it shows up I will be surprised, but we didn't do anything to earn it, so it's all good.

 
anyone else here get the limited edition for ps4? i think i have 2 expansion pass codes in mine. i redeemed one, and when i put in the second one it said the same thing.

 
Who was it that initially mentioned the brisket sub from Firehouse when we had sub chat day a week or two ago?  Whoever it was is my new favorite of the thread (sorry Pete).  That was the best fast food sandwich I have ever had in my life.

She was seriously using an anvil and some heavy equipment in front of her shanty metal shed. Her name is Doxie. She is in the shower now tho, so yeah, ya missed the blacksmithing.

 
Anyone else find it funny that the Apple site can't handle their own live stream? I've seen about 37 total seconds of the conference so far.

I distinctly remember on the first one I could get perfect on levels without killing every enemy. Certain sections were choked with enemies, and I couldn't kill them all before they left the screen for good, but I was able to get a perfect. I can't comment on V2 in this regard. I've only perfected 18 levels.

I only noticed a couple of levels in V2X where there was some leeway allowed in terms of the score, and it wasn't very much--maybe 20-40 points.

 
More people at my Gamestop to pick up Destiny when the store opened (they also did a midnight release last night) than there were for the PS4 midnight release. Kind of weird because my GS is basically always empty

That would have been good to know. I was restarting levels over and over when I would miss one little flying green dude.
 
I'm at work in a phone meeting and someone is also sharing their PC screen through lync.  Right now it is just their wallpaper that is of a bear in a tree.  Figured all you bearlovers would like to know.

Eh. Not quite--cleanup taking longer than I expected. Only a few left, though.

Going backwards was awesome in VU. That's why it was my plan to do it that way in V2X but that never materialized, for obvious reasons.

This is interesting. I love conspiracy theories.

EA intentionally tanking their first game on new-gen consoles since they know everyone is going to get the first one because it's the new hotness. Saves them money on building the game and then they make the 2nd year's game WAY better to ensure people will upgrade to that year's version since it's so much more robust and better.

If this isn't actually their strategy, it probably should be.

I'm here now.

Just went and picked up my PS4. Only took about 15 mins, so wasn't nearly as much of a hassle as I expected. Also already have the 2 year GCU extension on my account so I'm good til 2018 now. And no issues using the movers coupon in-store, though I did have to swing by a post office and pick another one up, which was a pain in the ass.

Guessing I'll probably forfeit the $10 pre-order gift card, but GCU is worth a lot more than $10.

Won't be playing til this evening though, stuck at work.

Oh and I bought Thief today too.  Play it after Destiny and should be able to get $10 back for it easy.
