CAGiversary!
BTW Therm, the Paypal fee doesn't show on eBay itself. It shows on your Paypal summary.
How big/dirty is your apartment, geez.I am going to say no for now, but don't be surprised if you see me. I need to finish cleaning up my apartment because I've got a friend staying with me from out of town the next two days.
Typical. Shit is not funny. I've asked you stop saying that. There was no argument. It was an opinion that you decided to poorly respond to. An opinion that others here share, but somehow they are exempt from being baiters. JustShit I fell for the Breakfuss bait. I'm a retard. I'll hide my posts in regard to this stupid argument.
Looks like the Asian version of Chyna after she had her jaw reduction and the original, smaller breast implantsI was reading some college football stories on SB Nation and there was a link to a story about MMA I checked out. It mentioned a Japanese woman fighter who was "built like a brick shithouse" and so I looked up her name, Rin Nakai, on Google (warning, there are many that are NSFW). I don't recall ever seeing a Japanese dude as jacked as she is. If I did not read that article to know she was a fighter I would have probably thought this was shopped. She is either a freak of nature, has been pumping some HGH for a while, or both.

As big/dirty as your taint. How big/dirty is your apartment, geez.
Should take no time at all then. See you at 6.As big/dirty as your taint.
Tyler, please start selling more stuff on ebay all the time so you can have more stories about the idiots you have to deal with. I love how the guy could not handle the paper being folded. If he's such an OCD collector, why didn't he just preorder the game himself. Actually, he probably did but he needs to keep that one in the case where it belongs and he needs yours to frame and put on his wall.
This is the only thing I can find with regards to a Paypal payment. It's from my last (only) eBay invoice:You definitely pay a Paypal fee if you sell something on eBay.
It's taken out immediately when the money is transferred to your Paypal account. Click on the actual transaction in your Paypal account to pull up the transaction details. The fee amount is listed in those details. This is the only thing I can find with regards to a Paypal payment. It's from my last (only) eBay invoice:
PayPal payment--Automatic monthly billing--Thank you $1.80
The line item was for $1.80. It doesn't specify exactly what that's for, so I'm not sure if it's for using Paypal or if it comes from something else.s the only thing I can find with regards to a Paypal payment. I sold 5 games in that period. Looking at my Paypal account I see no fees listed on that end. Where are you seeing the fees on your side?
I've often sold games on ebay and whenever I offer something old that's sealed you'd be surprised at the questions you get asked. Are there any tears in the plastic? Is it y-folded? Is it re-sealed? I actually now say things like this is from my personal collection to avoid it as much as possible. If the plastic is ripped I put in Collector's Note: The plastic is torn on the right side. Seems crazy to me but I guess when you collect things like this it's the same as having a mint comic book or baseball card.Tyler, please start selling more stuff on ebay all the time so you can have more stories about the idiots you have to deal with. last night oni was going to list last of us remastered for 39.99 and the fees were 8.34 so just over 20% then I thought maybe the account for shipping, so after the adjustment it was 10%... So still not what the site says. I contacted Cs we will see what happens. What? This says 15%:

Where are you guys seeing 20%?
I see where you're talking about, but it only shows one fee and doesn't specify where it's from, which is where the confusion came from. Then I have a separate transaction for when the eBay fee came in. Not sure why they split it up like that. It's taken out immediately when the money is transferred to your Paypal account. If that's you, then I dunno who I am. :???:Am I the one with too much time on their hands?
I used to do it a lot more, but now if I find something good in store on clearance to sell I always look at margins before buying. I made about $27 on 2 copies of Diablo III (PS3) that I found at K-mart for $5 each. I was already in the store and the actual ebay & shipping time was less than an hour so it was worth my time. In general though the only place to make money off of clearance (unless you are flipping) is in hardware. I made a killing off of some Gears Of Wars 360 Bundles a few years ago.that's kinda why I stopped selling games. the $2-$3 i was making from each purchase (minus fees, shipping, time) just wasn't worth the effort.
Maybe you're like me, too awesome to fit a description in one line.If that's you, then I dunno who I am. :???:
yeah wtf Pete you can't have such a vague description. If that's you, then I dunno who I am. :???:
Simple. Your fees for selling on eBay are on your eBay account summary, and your fees for Paypal on on your Paypal account summary. I kinda get what you're saying though and I guess it could be helpful to have both fees in one spot when you're calculating how much you made after fees.I see where you're talking about, but it only shows one fee and doesn't specify where it's from, which is where the confusion came from. I figured it would account for like half the thread. was just doing some #MondayMorningBaitin.yeah wtf Pete you can't have such a vague description.
It's 3% of the sales price plus $0.30 fixed. Like Backlord has been saying, Paypal takes it right away when you get paid by the buyer. I definitely found the ebay/paypal fees confusing since Paypal takes them ASAP and ebay bills you once a month for them. Definitely less confusing on Amazon for new sellers.Where is the Paypal fee from? I haven't gotten any of those. I think it's because I have it tied to my bank account, but am not sure if that's why.

$2.16 for a 5oz. package on Amazon. $2.09 regular price and 7 cent transaction fee. Amazon sure loves tacking on those fees.Yeah I go with the default option for first-class shipments, which is a 5 oz package. Costs me $2.09, and automatically confirms shipment and provides the tracking number to the buyer. So quick and simple.
Might change my name to this. It's 3% of the sales price plus $0.30 fixed. Like Backlord has been saying, Paypal takes it right away when you get paid by the buyer. Do it. Its easy. You will like it.Might change my name to this.
I'm seriously thinking of what to change it to. It's just so long and stuff.Do it. Its easy. You will like it.
You guys don't use a scale? I usually pay $2.00 for shipping games I sell on Amazon ($1.93 price + 7-cent transaction fee) because most of what I ship is under 3oz.$2.16 for a 5oz. package on Amazon. $2.09 regular price and 7 cent transaction fee. Amazon sure loves tacking on those fees.
jkamisawesomeI'm seriously thinking of what to change it to. It's just so long and stuff.
I assumed the beta was a vertical slice of a much larger game. Turns out it was the game. The same issues I have now are the ones I've always had. Gunplay is indeed fantastic. Shooting aliens and robots remains as gratifying as ever. Surprise!I'm up to level 10 in Destiny and feel safe saying that it's awesome. As Stotch mentioned, it is exactly like the alpha/beta, so I'm not sure what people are surprised by/disappointed in. The gunplay is just so solid/fun that the term grinding doesn't really fit in my mind (mindlessly pressing X a la Diablo or FF is grinding). I want to spend more time in the crucible, but it looks like I'll need to do more story stuff before I stand a chance (was getting my ass handed to me p[etty regularly at level 5ish. Will be on tonight around 8 EST if anyone else wants to join (PS4).
No, but how are you shipping a disc game for under 3oz?You guys don't use a scale? I usually pay $2.00 for shipping games I sell on Amazon ($1.93 price + 7-cent transaction fee) because most of what I ship is under 3oz.
Slow down, you may bump me out of the top ten on the leader board with that platI figured it would account for like half the thread. was just doing some #MondayMorningBaitin.
At 45 perfects, all criticals done with 18h of playtime on v2x. 47 is still staring at me with its awfulness.
No, but how are you shipping a disc game for under 3oz?

I don't know about any "secret", but this past weekend, I sold a sealed copy of Atelier Rorona Plus (PS3) listed at $43, and when I weighed it in a bubble mailer envelope, my scale read roughly 2.5oz. Amazon only lets you input a whole-number value for ounces, so I rounded it up to 3.yeah, what's your secret vig? Every game I have is more than 3oz out of the packaging. I stopped using a scale and just started marking everything as 6oz.
is anyone even trying for third place in the TiT? where you at velo?
That sounds way too low.I don't know about any "secret", but this past weekend, I sold a sealed copy of Atelier Rorona Plus (PS3) listed at $43, and when I weighed it in a bubble mailer envelope, my scale read roughly 2.5oz. Same, but I usually add some extra bubble wrap inside the padded envelope so I'm adding extra weight to it anyways. One good thing about games not having physical manuals is it does keep that postage down.yeah, what's your secret vig? Every game I have is more than 3oz out of the packaging. Yeah, I'm not liking how this looks, either. I was pretty sure the first digit was "2" and not "4" or "5". :???:That sounds way too low.k
I'll hang on this til before game time tonight. If AP doesn't get suspended this would be a horrible trade. Plus, I have Bradshaw in there already in hopes that trich continues to be useless(though he's got the potential to be a lot better than that jigga Bradshaw)Pipp, check your fantasy, I sent a trade.
Sounds like your scale might be off. Though maybe USPS isn't very thorough when it comes to weighing if you've been using it for a while for no issues. Just dropped off my non-sealed PS3 game (with manual and original case) and it was 4.5 ounces.I don't know about any "secret", but this past weekend, I sold a sealed copy of Atelier Rorona Plus (PS3) listed at $43, and when I weighed it in a bubble mailer envelope, my scale read roughly 2.5oz.
