Snakey, he made it seem like he started up a new warlock and didn't have to bother with voidwalker for 15 levels.

He didn't use a warlock before so I was just clarifying, I know you can switch instantly when you have it unlocked.

I just heard the gunslinger wasn't that great, but iv seen crazy bladewalkers. Also I don't know if id rather have a smash titan or a shield one.

I just spent 6000 glimmer on a new ship and color shader. Also blew another 7500 on all 3 factions pieces, which I guess is just to rank them up and get to buy their stuff... altho it takes away from crucible/vanguard rank, so I guess I won't wear those yet. also got Notorious/Valorous, but I bet a bunch of you have those 100 marks already this week.

I did the same thing, farming with 3 buds on cosmo for an hour, beat 2 public events, they both found 2 legendary engrams but i got none. oh wells. I have like 200+ spinmetals tho, and tons of weapon parts/cloth (hadronic) stuff.

I hate when you open a legendary engram and get a blue/green item, rage.

also yeah i got the exotic bounty too. It was beat someone, beat a weekly strike, or talk to a girl. I went with the beat a weekly strike ;)

wait, cro, did it say what weapons you get for which bounty? I just chose the mission I liked best... I want that full auto tho. I love my sahara crucible variant. That aim is crazy, but I have take a knee so it is epic. 67rounds fired super fast and if I take a knee they can all go crit. woot.

I just wanna play destiny and level up some more for tomorrows raid. im 25 and growing...

50 spinmetal for 5 vanguard marks. So basically a 10:1 exchange. So you'd need 500 to get the maximum marks for the week. That's all I'm trying to do. I got 34 today, only to find out that the weekly cap resets at 5AM tomorrow. Had I known that ahead of time, I would have saved the spinmetal I got today. Oh well. I'm just going to do the spinmetal thing until I get the max for the week.

yes bladewalker is way better than gunslinger. Y da fuq did u waste ur money on a new ship and color shader? -_-

I only got a total of 52 marks and i've been playin alot of strikes

There are a ton in here in the fantasy league, so I expect some of this. However, if you do not see the difference in a post like this and telling someone you sent them a pm with the contents of the pm when nobody cares but the 2 of you then you need a clue.

It's probably faster just to do strikes.

From the guide:

Collect and turn in 50 Spinmetal, Spirit Bloom, Helium Filaments, or Iron Ore to your class’ Vanguard vendor to receive 5 Vanguard Marks, 200 glimmer, and 25 reputation. This is extremely inefficient since it takes far longer to gather 50 resources than do a strike or daily. Since you need a large amount of these materials for equipment upgrades I suggest avoiding this step, unless you really enjoy gathering mats for hours.

I could only do level 20 strikes right now, and that's 2 marks for ~20-30 minutes of work. By comparison, I got 34 marks today in about an hour and a half doing the earth run, getting spinmetal, and doing public events. Level 22 strikes would undoubtedly be a better use of time. Plus with the earth run, I can do it while working since I can just duck into a hole and hide out for a couple minutes if needed.

You can do level 22, it'll just be harder. Try to get some gear that'll take you to at least 21.

I'm level 25 bitch. Also, you have to do a long ass quest chain for these. For thorns you gotta do some level 26 strike, kill 500 enemies on the moon and then do something like get a nice kill/death spread in MP. Something like getting 50 points, where like 5 points is given per kill, then like 3 are taken away per death or something

 
Also, the earlier upgrades for your legendary weapons/armor require those materials you find on certain planets (spinmetal, relic iron, etc.). My scout rifle and my chest armor require helium. They don't require a lot at once and they're pretty easy to farm. About 16 per upgrade (There's 5 defense upgrades on my chest armor, the last 3 require ascendant shards as well, though).

I played it without playing the first. You miss some backstory, but the MC is a completely new guy and the story gives you at least some background info.

I thought it was pretty good aside from the trophy list. It felt much more like a battleground game than a lot of the FPS I've played, which was cool.
